Free audiobooks are available to download for personal use through websites that allow you to access the text of a book. One popular site is horbuchkostenlos.de, which converts free public domain books into audiobooks. Volunteers read these books and provide them to the public for free listening. They can be downloaded or listened to online chapter by chapter. Another site that offers free audiobooks is OverDrive, which allows you to access audiobooks through your local library. To use OverDrive, you must have a library card.

Another great place to find free audiobooks is Open Culture, a website that compiles audiobook files from around the web and provides links to the various streaming services. You can browse their library by author and title, and even find new releases. There are tens of thousands of audiobooks available to download. If you want to listen to a new book by a famous author, you can also check out Open Culture. You can find free audiobooks of famous authors, children's books, and even online college courses.

You can download free audiobooks from LibriVox if you have an account with Amazon. The free audiobooks are read by volunteers, and the audio quality varies. If you are not a native English speaker, you may have trouble understanding the book. If you do not want to subscribe to a subscription to Audible Premium Plus, you can try out their free 30-day trial. If you don't want to commit to a subscription, you can also download free books from the Amazon Prime website.

I am contemplating using a TC Helicon VoiceLive Play as an effect with a H&A QU32 digital mixer.  Here is what I have in mind reading the manual.  Does this seem right?  My goal is lead vocal (dry) into unit from  the mixer and only harmonies/effects return (wet) to the mixer.  If you can suggest another TC Helicon product that might do better than the VoiceLive Play let me know.

    Scenario

Aux in for musical input for harmony generation from mixer (line level) using "Live" setting

Mic Input with vocal to be processed from mixer (can a line level be used instead of a mic level)

Left Out - Dual Mono-a-Mono   Voices Only with "Lead" mute "on" so only the harmonies come through

Right out - nothing, not needed

PedroRodrigues Hi Wannjlw, thank you for your post, your proposed set up for the VOICELIVE PLAY seems to be configurable, nevertheless please take in to account that the VoiceLive Play Mic Input only accepts Mic Level. In this case you can attempt to use an adaptor that will help you manage the signal discrepancies, but please consider that is not an officially supported solution and we cannot guarantee the results. I hope this helps. Thank you

The polytune manual says just play and it'll show the tuning of all strings… What about a 12 string?

I also don't see that it has a microphone… what is the recommended way to tune an acoustic with no output jack?

Are there no options to buy a clip on attachment to the headstock instead of having to buy a microphone just a tune an acoustic?

PedroRodrigues Hi FleetwoodPC, thank you for your post, the Polytune 3 was designed for 6 stings, when it comes to the tuning operation, this pedal will collect the signal analysis for tuning on the signal arriving on the input via TS JACK so the pedal not need to have any output connected. When you connect your instrument to the audio input, the following information will be displayed:

      • Standard(“STD”) or Drop D tuning mode

      • The currently selected display mode(Needle/Strobe, Guitar / Bass)

      • The currently selected tuning mode

      • The reference pitch.

For best results, place POLYTUNE 3 in your signal chain before your drive, distortion and vibrato pedals. A distorted or modulated signal is harder to analyse.
I hope this helps. Thank you

Hey all, was wondering if anyone else had some problems when controlling the Voice Live Rack (or VL3 it happens to both) in Ableton. I'm controlling the Presets via midi on a song by song basis for synced BPM eg. It works well but if we ever mistrigger, turn off the tracks or restart a song it sends a message to turn the Transducer on. I've had a look and I can't figure out why this happens. Was hoping someone could have a fix.

    Cheers!

    Hi there,

I'm looking for an overlay to use on my XTouch running Cakewalk by Bandlab. I can see in this video https://youtu.be/l-8VO1vpc7U that there used to be such overlay in this forum, in a thread called "X Touch and Sonar" by Marius Bowitz, posted on 11-25-2015, but now is nowhere to be found. Any idea where to get such file? Unfortunately the design in this link https://discuss.cakewalk.com/index.php?/topic/10931-anybody-have-a-behringer-x-touch-and-want-a-cakewalk-overlay/ doesn't match the functions for Cakewalk as it advertises.

    Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance and greetings from Chile!

GaryHiggins Sadly a HUGE amount of info appears to have been lost. Switching over to this new forum did the trick. Many hours of help and effort by old (and wise) users gone. Sorry. I may have some files somewhere still and will look for them. I sold my Xtouch but I probably kept the files somewhere...may take some time to locate....

I have the Behringer X32 digital mixer and periodically it wont turn on.  I will have to turn it on and off 20, 30, 50 times before it will actually boot all the way.  Any suggestions on how to fix?

Nigel67 Hi dmccurrach. When you say it will not power up, do you mean that you turn the X32 on and nothing happens on the surface, or it starts to boot on the screen and then freezes / switches off. It could be power supply related - components failing, the micro sd card or the MCU board need reseating. It could also be a million other things but they are probably the most obvious. If the X32 is still under warranty then I would suggest contacting the shop that you purchased it from, however if not in Warranty please contact one of our Authorised Service Centres (https://www.behringer.com/buy.html?type=POS) and they will be able to book your mixer in for repair. Or, please send us a Technical Support Ticket and we will be able to help further. This can be done by clicking on the support tab at the top of the page. A new window will open. Scroll down and click on the Technical Support tab and submit a ticket. Many thanks

Hello, I have two important questions I have a ULM300USB microphone that I connect to two B115W speakers but the voice comes out only on the speaker even though they are connected with the blutooth that you can hear stereo.
    1) is it possible with another usb for example on the other speaker to get the voice out? Or is there a system without using a cannon cable which then comes out all mono?
    2) how to connect the microphone to a mac because I tried on two macs but neither of them is detected the microphone when I insert usb.

    Thanks,
    Matteo

I play the A string, then record a loop, then stop the loop after 2 seconds.

I would expect a almost continuous sound. However there is some noise every time the loop is restarting (attached file is a recording showing the issue)

PedroRodrigues Hi xav42, thank you for your post, in this case, after analysing the file provided I would suggest to first confirm that you are using a 1/4 jack TS cables, and that you are using the correct PSU that must be a Standard 9V DC, Centre Negative >300mA.
I would also advise you to confirm that your pedal is running the latest FW version that you can access by following the link below:
      https://www.tcelectronic.com/tcelectronic/product?modelCode=P0DE9
If this does not resolve any of the issues reported, I would then suggest following the link below to submit an assistance request directly with our Tech Support Team, so we can analyse this matter with more tools.

      I hope this helps

      Hi,
I'm using high quality cables and power supply. Everything is ok on this side.
The looper is using the latest firmware 1.3.0.0. I even reinstalled the firmware and it changed nothing.
      The support has been contacted.

Can anybody here having a Ditto (any model) could please try to reproduce the issue ? It only takes a few seconds... I would like to know if it affects all the pedals or just mine... Thanks !
