My 3 Behringer keyboards are on warranty repair since April. All are brand new, but all have had the same defect.

Their phone number 702 800 8290 is never replying, so, the only way to contact them is through email. But now they stopped to even reply to emails.

So, the only way to get them reply is to file a case, but what's their address?

5270 Procyon St in Vegas is listed for sale now, so, the only one is left is 901 Grier Dr in Vegas.

Does anyone know that this is the best address to file a case?

I am in L.A., CA a different state, so, I will do it through the CA Secretary of State, but the address should be correct for filing a case.

    Please advice.

I Just purchased a Perform-VK to use along with my keyboard.  I already owned a Perform-V  (non-keyboard version).  Should the tones and effects sound essentially the same on each, especially the beamed presets?

BTW I was lucky on the beaming preset issue which appears to me a re-occuring  issue here.  I could not beam presets from my iPhone X but was able to find an older iPhone 7 in the desk drawer that I wasn't using anymore.  I downloaded the VK app and it works perfectly on the older version of iPhone.  So I just keep the older phone with my music gear and use it just for beaming the presets from the VK app!

Just purchased the Perform-VK and really like its features.  But I cannot use the MIDI connection and can only connect with a guitar chord into my Roland VR-09 keyboard.  I would really like to use the MIDI features but don't know what to do at this point to get that done.  Any help here would really be appreciated.  I have successfully updated the firmware and can connect to Voicesupport2.

BTW I am not too familier with MIDI and don't use a computer in the mix.  I am just plugging the keyboard directly to the Perform-VK with a MIDI cord but from the Youtube videos it looks like you can do that.  It sounds like the MIDI pitch tracking is the preferred method and I would like to try the notes mode.

    Thanks.

Hello, I'm trying to locate the schematics for the internal wiring of Tannoy DMT 12 speakers.

I bought a used pair and discovered they are out of phase. (I'm bi-wiring) When I hook them up normally,(correct polarity) there's a lack of bass.  WHen I reverese the polarity on one speaker, there's more bass - they sound better.

However, I don't know if the woofers and tweeters are in phase with each other.

The Tribe support page doesn't list DMT's , I guess because they're discontinued.

Can anyone out there tell me where to find the schematics? Or  is there any other sure-fire way to make sure all 4 drivers are the proper polarity?

Thank you for any help you can offer.

      David Knighton Hello Jon Bojicic,
Genuinely, these speakers are quite legacy, and have been long before Music Tribe acquired the Tannoy brand. I would check the polarity of the input as opposed to the polarity of the driver, as the input polarity could very well be the problem. Also, ensure your cable polarity is consistent. You'd be surprised how many cables are produced with the polarity swapped from end to end.

Jon Bojicic Thank you very much for responding. The cables are correct. It is the input polarity that's the problem. But obviously someone has mucked around with the insides of the speakers, and I'm trying to find a way to make sure everything is connected properly. I know I can check the woofers with a battery, but I don't think Iwoult be able to see any excursion on the tweeter. Anyway, I alreaady know the woofers re out of phase with each other, but I don't know how to check if the tweeter in each cab is in phase with the woofer.

David Knighton If you were to pull the drivers out, you should see the output terminals to the drivers labeled positive or negative. Beyond that, you'd need a SMAART spectrum analyzer to check phase coherency between the two.

Jon Bojicic Again, Thank You. I'll have a look. By output terminals, I'm guessing you mean the output of the crossover to the driver, not from the outside terminals to the crossover, which is really an input?

    Hi,

I have recently purchased an XR18 to my setup.

There are among others, a DEQ2496 and DCX2496.

I can see the digital output in the XR18 is called Ultranet.

What digital interface should I use to interconnect XR18 to DEQ2496 for example?

Not sure if I need a Behringer Ultramatch SRC2496, a S16 or perhaps with the Klark Teknik DN9630 ?

    Thank you

Rex Beckett Hi Maximo, the XR18's Ultranet output uses a proprietary 16-channel, one-way format that is intended for connecting P16M Monitor mixers and/or Turbosound iQ series active loudspeakers. I don't know of any products that can convert Ultranet to other digital audio formats.

If you want to connect the XR18 to external signal processing equipment, you will need to use the analogue inputs/outputs.

      • Behringer XR18 Ultranet interface
Maximo Martin It's a shame Behringer is creating/using new interfaces not compatible with existing equipment. At least they should offer an interface. Actually there are AES/EBU, SPDIF, AES50, Ultranet, ADAT, etc. It's not easy to add a new device to any existing setup. To replace the whole setup is not always an option. Hopefully Behringer or someone else will release an interface. Thank you.

My Ultra-DI DI100 does not power my Shure beta 98HC Mic. When turning it on the light under the In/out button. The red light flashes and does not stay on.

Rex Beckett Hello Ollie, the Shure Beta 98H/C requires phantom power. DI boxes do not usually pass phantom power to their inputs so cannot power condenser mics. Normally these mics would be connected directly to a mixer that would supply the phantom power. The flashing In/Out LED indicates that the DI100 is running from battery power.

If you explain what equipment you are using, we may be able to suggest other solutions.

Ollie Wyatt Hi Rex, thanks for getting back to me. I must have assumed the DIbox would provide phantom power.

Realistically I want to use my Shure beta mic with a busking battery power amp. I have a Roland mobile cube which has been great and used a cheaper mic with battery pack.

What do I need to power my mic while busking ?

      Cheers ,

Rex Beckett Hi Ollie, yes the DI100 does almost exactly the opposite of what you want. You need a battery-operated phantom power supply. There are a few possibilities. The ART Phantom II Pro is probably the most cost-effective solution.

Rex Beckett Shure used to supply a battery-operated preamp for this type of mic - model MX1BP. They discontinued it but you may find one in the used market.
