    Hello, I use the UMC204.

I use a bass with a link on the computer. I can hear the bass on the phone and on the main ouput but not on the playback output (small speaker bose).

On the phone and the main output I hear everything : bass, computer

On the playback output I have only the sound of the computer.

I use the driver output 1-2 on windows 10.

I capture also the midi piano on the computer. It's a real nice appliance.

    Thank you for your help

    Jean

NicJonesMT Hi Jean. Please be aware that the RCA Playback outputs on the back of the UMC will only playback the USB input from your computer. It will not give you any of the direct input from your Bass and will also bypass the main output pot so needs to be controlled from your computer.
What I would recommend is connecting your speakers to the Main outputs (Not RCA) and set the Mix pot to 12 o'Clock. This way you will hear your direct input and USB audio.

    Hello to all.

I am trying to connect a "M-Vave Chocolate" midi footswitch to Ableton Live.  In the "Link Tempo Midi" window of Ableton, there are lots of options to choose from, and I do not know what to do.....!

    Could anyone help please?

For ease, I attach a picture of the M-Vave Chocolate" footswitch, and a picture of the "Link Tempo Midi" window on Ableton.

Thank you for your assistance with this issue.

    Best.

      NicJonesMT Hi there.
This is the wrong forum for the M-Vave Chocolate.
For assistance with this product and Ableton you would need to contact the manufacturer of this product or Ableton directly.

I've recently started using a Beat Buddy midi sync with my VLX3 on stage.  I've followed what instructions I've been able to find relating to midi sync and looping in Quantized.  75% of the time it's pretty seemless and works very well.  I utiize a switch 6 pedal on stage and have the first three buttons mapped to LRecPlay, LStopErase, and Erase all; buttons 4-6 are guitar related.

When the looping function seems to have a hiccup; I've noticed the display screen flashes Q Rec A; then REC A.  This causes an issue with the timing of the loop.  I can't find anywhere what Q Rec A means.  It seems to put a short pause in the beginning of the loop, which throws the timing of the loop completely off.  Any help is much appreciated.

Nigel67 Hi dd2402. I am afraid that you are posting on the wrong Forum. This is not for LD Systems products. All the best.

    Greetings all,

Can anyone please help me with making My DL16 work with my M32?

When I connect the DL16 to the M32, I am having a terrible time with routing. When I select the AES50 1-8, and 9-16 as inputs with 1-8 selected on the DL16 I get no signal to the M32.

What I want is all 16 inputs on the DL16 connected to the M32.

I want the out 7, 8 of the DL16 for Main L-R house and 1-6 as monitor sends. I can't for the life of me figure this out. I have loaded saved scenes and tried every way I know how to send signals back and forth with no luck. When I do get the output to 7,8 working the inputs don't. PLEASE HELP, Andy

Nigel67 Hi ARP101. First of all you need to make sure that the M32 and DL16 are both running the latest firmware versions. Connect the AES50 A port on the DL16 to the AES50 A port on the M32. On an M32 as default, Main L and R are assigned to outputs 15 and 16. If you haven't changed any of the mix outputs routing, then do the following. On the DL16, in the vertical config bank of assign LEDs, make the bottom LED light only (OUT +8). If you press the Config button it will say 9-16. You have now assigned the 8 XLRs to outputs 9-16 of the M32 which 15 and 16 (or XLRs 7 and 8 on DL16) will be Main L and R. You now have to assign the outputs on the console to the DL16. So in the AES50-A Output 1-8 routing, you should assign Out 1-8, and for AES50-A Out 9-16, you should assign Out 9-16. You will now be able to hear the Main Outputs on XLR's 7 and 8. You will need to assign the Monitor Sends that you want out of XLRs 1-6 to Mix busses 9-14. For the input routing of the DL16 to the M32, go to the Input Routing and assign AES50 A 1-8 to Input 1-8 and AES50 A 9-16 to Input 1-8. You will now have all 16 x DL16 inputs on input channels 1-16. Hi all!

I need some help. I work for an elementary school that is just starting their theater program. We currently have about a 8-10 Wireless mics that when the receivers are plugged into our Behringer mixer they use almost every input.

we were thinking of purchasing a line mixer that could have the receivers plugged into it, and then the output of that mixer plugged into our Barringer Xenix 2442. that should free up a whole mess of inputs for use with other things right? Or is there a better way of doing this?

Any help would be greatly greatly appreciated! Thank you so much!

    Hello All,

We used our XR18 last night to play a backyard party. We built a simple drum stand using a couple of wooden pallets and some plywood. We also set the XR18 in it's molded plastic travel case on the same stand. We started playing and had audio issues. We stopped to troubleshoot and determined that the vibration coming through the mixer was affecting the sound with glitches. We moved the XR18 off the bouncy stand and onto the ground and no more problems. I thought the XR18 was all solid state and wouldn't be affected by vibrations, I'm just curious why we had this problem.

    Thanks for any insight

Nigel67 Hi RobDurkin. The XR18 has ribbon cables that connect the various pcbs together. It is possible that one of these ribbon cables is not seated properly and therefore bouncing in its mating connector. Although built to withstand being vibrated, every piece of equipment has a limit and I am sure a drum riser is a pretty harsh environment (depends on the music being played), so probably not the most ideal place to house the mixer.

I use a DAW on my Chromebook. When I play any music, DAW or otherwise, through my audio interface (UMC204HD), the sound blips every few seconds.  If I connect headphones directly to the Chromebook, the sound is fine.  Suggestions?

Nigel67 Hi cubitt1. It could be due to the buffer size that you have set on your Chromebook. I would try increasing it and see what happens. Do you have the latest ASIO driver installed? Also double check the clock settings and make sure the UMC and computer are set the same. The other thing to check is that the USB port you have the UMC plugged into needs to be a USB2.0 compatible port. If it isn't try another port. And if you are using a USB hub, try without it as they can cause issues such as glitching. If you are still having issues, fill out a Technical Support ticket and a colleague will get back to you with further advice. This can be done by clicking on the support tab at the top of the page. A new window will open. Scroll down and click on the Technical Support tab and submit a ticket.
