I have been loving my Neutron but today I turned it on and it would not respond to MIDI controls from my keystep pro. I tried several different midi channels. It will pass a very low pitched sound if I turn the VCA bias up but it seems unable to receive midi. I also tried a basic CV patch (pitch to osc1+2, gate to env 1) and it had slightly better results but still far short of a performable level of control. I attempted the reset process I found online to no avail. Please help!

      DavidKnighton Hello Petrus,
Make sure you first install the driver for Windows. Go to FLOW8 product page, click the SOFTWARE tab and download/install the driver.

I recently bought a VL3X. I've seen a few demos but I like more on how to use the synth as a voice replacement. I think I've seen all the video demos, and they sound good, but don't tell you how to get those sounds. I need to know:

    1. Which presets will give me the synth/talk box sounds
    2. The set up for both guitar and keyboard, (even keytar), that will allow my voice to sound the synth for leads.

    Thanks for any help.

Robbodafisho I’ve set the midi commander on the custom 2 setting and and into the vl3x midi in it scrolls through the different presets 1 to 8 then scroll up or down on the set buttons to go onto the next presets 9-16 and so on what I really want to know is there a way of controlling things delay, flanger, compressor or looper settings through midi learn if it’s possible cheers.

    How would I go about connecting a Mdx4600 to a Xynex802-Usb

Nigel67 The MDX4600 has line-level inputs and outputs. It would normally be connected to channel insert points on an analogue mixing console. The MDX460 is intended to be used as inserted or send/return effects on analogue mixing desks. The Xenyx 802 does not have insert points. It is possible that they could be used as pre-processors for the 802 inputs but this would depend on the signal sources, i.e it cannot be used if the signal is mic level. The only was you could use it would be to send to it from the fx send and return into another input, but you will need to make sure that the input channel that the microphone input is not sent to the mix as you will have delay issues with the audio coming back from the MDX4600. It may be better to record the tracks dry and then add the effects in your DAW software during mixing.

mapex555 Thank you for replying. I’m very new to this. What would count as mic level sources/signals?

Nigel67 Any signal that comes out of a microphone is mic level unless it has a built in pre amp but there aren't that many. A cd player is line level or the audio that comes out of your phone headphone jack. You would use an MDX4600 on a microphone but only when you have increased the microphone gain to a line level signal using the mic amp gain. There are some videos on You Tube that show how to connect a MDX4600 to a mixer using insert points.

Nigel67 Hi NagibAcrio. Although its not something that we would be able to support you with, I see no reason why you would not be able to control the MR18 using a VPN connection. I have not heard of anyone setting up an MR18, but I have spoken to users who have been successful controlling their M32 mixers from remote locations.

I have a serious problem when i try to use the fcb1010 to send midinotes. I've configured it exactly as the manual says and double checked with other forum posts which said the same. But when i press the configured key, instead of sending the note one time it starts sending it a billion times per second and does not stop until the device is turned off. Any idea what could be causing this or how to fix it? thanks in advance.

I just recieved the Ditto + and upgraded the firmware right away.

When I press record in either regular or extended mode, the volume increases quite a bit. The playback volume is also increased.
The pedal was working normally one day and the next, it started with this unusual volume increase when I hit record and play.
I reinstalled the firmware but that made no difference.

Is there something I can adjust or is the pedal broken?

Note: The volume knob doesn't change the record level.

ChrisEdwards1 Hi BryanB2, would it be possible to provide some further information on your setup such as if any other pedals are being used, how the device is being powered, and how you are connecting it to your amp?

    Hi

I have a rack with Iem sistem and a x32rack to run it. As monitoring. We are going to self control via smartphone

The 8 xlr outputs of the x32 rack is connect to 8xIEMs.

Our band spend 26 channels connected to DL32.

Also we have a M32 for FOH

Well I need to know how I need to connect and routing to have gain channel control on FoH. Trim gain in X32rack.

I want a pre fader send to x32rack.

    Is this correct?

    Aes50a from dl32 to aes50a of M32

    Aes50b from M32 to aes50a off x32rack

    M32 internal clock

    X32rack aes50a clock

    M32:

    Input routing (home)from aes50a 1-8....25-32

    Aes50a out9-16 ( for main LR on 15&16 to Pa on Dl32)

    Aes50b out 1-4 & 5-8

    X32rack

Xlr out  --> local 1-4 and local 5-8?????

And router WiFi on x32rack to control all? Is it correct?

Nigel67 Hi Rocktambuls. There are a couple of things that I am not quite sure about in your description. You mention that you want a pre fader send to the X32 Rack which I am guessing is the 26 inputs so that you can mix them for the IEMs. In you set up description, you do not mention sending the inputs from the M32 to the Rack, but you do mention AES50B Out 1-4 and 5-8. What audio signals are you hoping to send from the M32 to the X32 Rack? If it is just the inputs (post mic amp, pre everything else, then you would assign AES50A Inputs 1-32 directly to AES50B Outputs 1-32 on the M32 and then assign AES50A Inputs 1-32 on the rack to the channel inputs. Unfortunately, there is only 1 mic pre amp per channel, so you would set these up with the M32, and then any make up gain would be controlled on the two mixers using the digital trim. This way, you would still have some kind of independent gain control on both mixers. You would use the HA Split function for this, so the analogue gains would only be controlled on the M32 via the LCD display and the main Gain pot on the surface of the M32 would be a digital trim. This is described in the manual.

The clocking set up you have mentioned is correct.

The Out 9-16 from the X32 Rack is the only unknown as I am not sure where you are mixing this audio, in the X32Rack or from the 8 outputs on the M32. I need some more information on this please. If it is the X32, then you would assign the 8 outputs to the Local 1-8, or if it is the 8 outputs being sent over the AES50, then you would assign the AES50 directly to the Local outputs, but this needs more clarity.
