I dont need the monitors, just Mic inputs to record drums into the UMC-1820.  Does it require 2 cables.  (Not geting audio into studio 1)  I have the Master set properly as well as the ADA OUT to UMC IN and set to ADAT.

    thanks

      NicJonesMT Hi Jteller53.
If you only need the inputs from the ADA then only 1 cable from the Optical out to the optical in on the UMC is required.
If you can please submit a technical support ticket (Click support at the top of the page) and provide a detailed explanation of your setup and exactly what is happening. If you could also provide some screenshots of your Audio Input/Output settings in Studio one it would be extremely helpful.

If you go into your Song Setup in S1, and delete the input busses and then re-add them, does this change the behaviour at all?

    Hi everyone,

i just bought a factory new Deepmind 12  and I am super satisfied with the sound and everything works fine using headphones.

Yet, when plugging the audio out into either

    1) My Guitar Amp / Bluetooth Speaker (PositiveGrid Spark, original 19V switching-power-supply) both
    1-a) aux input
    1-b) Guitar input

    2) My trusty 90'es JVC Stereo System

    3) an USB-Soundcard (on a laptop with Charger plugged in)

... and even more mains-powered devices of all sorts, with Euro and with Schuko style plugs (I live in Germany) into the wall, in different wall outlets in my flat, even one pulling the fuse for every other room/appliance. In any of the cases

I get a high-pitched, sometimes slightly pitch shifting, often periodically pulsing whine.

I used several audio cables and adapters without any success of fighting this noise.

The problem seems quite similar to https://community.musictribe.com/discussions/14773/217942/unwanted-noise-of-the-dm12#comments_body_217944

Yet there are some differences: The noise occurs even when the unit is turned off! When I unplug the power cable there is a mains humming instead of the noise. The noise seems to peak at 1,94 kHz. (see attached screenshot from a phone app and phone recording)

Depending on the used output jack, audio device and (and its input jack), the noise is either quite subtle or even louder than the instrument on half volume. In any case it is never fully gone.

It has no correlation with anything on the device (fan speed, wheel LEDs, VCA and its noise floor, ...) - as said it is even present when the Power swithch is on 0.

    Now for the stranger part:

When taking the screenshot I noticed that the activity on my phone chipset (or display/display driver) altered the noise quite audible. The screenshot below shows this effect (of a previous screenshot) right in the middle of the spectrum flow.

So the whine seems to be picking up EM interference maybe because some kins of shielding? grounding? does not work propperly. I am no electronics person, so this might all be the wrong conclusions.... I have never experienced something like that with other audio equipment (e.g. Behringer Crave). I had also done a full calibration but the problem persists.

Another fun fact that puzzles me: The moment I pull the charger out of my Notebook (to which the USB soundcard is connected), the audio level coming from the deepmind drops drastically. What is going on there?

Does anyone have any idea? Am I doing something terribly wrong? Or is it a case straight for returning the device?

New user here.  I have not been able connect the M323/M32R in with 2 DL16 stage boxes in a FOH - Mon setup successfully.  Can someone help me out with connections and console routing?

    Thanks

    Frank

KyleJohnson The first step would be the connections, typically I'd recommend connecting the 2 consoles together and then connecting both DL16 units to 1 of the consoles. Then you can bring all inputs into one console and pass them to the other via the AES50 routing. Say you have the MON console on stage with both DL16 units connected, you'd set the inputs for that console in the Routing>Input page (set everything to AES50 (A or B, depending on which port is used for the DL16 units) 1-8, 9-16, 17-24 and 25-32). Then open the Routing>AES50 page (A or B, whichever is connected out to the other console) and make the same assignments. Then on the FOH console set the Routing>Input to AES50 1-32 (whichever port is connected on that console). You can set the FOH to control the preamps by using the HA Remote function in the Setup>Preamps menu.

Thanks for the response. I currently have my routing like this:
      FOH console B———MON console A, MON console B———(1)DL16A, DL16B———(2)DL16A
The FOH console clock is set to AES50B, the MON console clock is set to INTERNAL. Inputs 1-32 on FOH console are set to AES50B. Inputs 1-32 on MON console are set to AES50B also.

I do have all 32 input channels in both locations this way. I’m continuing on with this setup but have more questions.

I have 48V and HA control on the MON console now. Is this switchable to the FOH console, maybe by changing the settings from MON to FOH in setup>preamps menu for both consoles?

I was not able to get main output routing from the FOH console to the outputs on the DL16. I’m not sure how this is supposed to work , ie settings for the DL16 with the config knob.

I also need to have one stereo input at the FOH console for a CD player. Is there a way to do this without designating 8 input channels to be local at the FOH console?

      Thanks for any help,
      Frank (brmc1)

Hi Guy's, this is my first post here, I have a query that I hope you can help with.

We are a Ludite band using an Allen & Heath 14:4:2 Analogue Desk and we want to hookup the desk to a Behringer U-Phoria UMC404HD for recording purposes. Can we use the 'Matrix' Outputs from the desk as Inputs into the Audio Interface, or are there likely to be impedance matching issues? Also, if there are likely to be compatability problems, can you suggest a better solution?

The Matrix Out is TRS Impedance Balanced <75 ohm, -2dBu, +21dBu max.

I recently got a new iPad. Loaded TonePrint app. And the app does not recognize any of your user made TonePrints.

what can I do to get this to recognize the TonePrints so I can edit them?

    thanks in advance.

ChrisEdwards1 Hi rdenker, If you have previously created your custom TonePrints via the editor on another device than what youare experiencing is correct. The TonePrint editor is not capable of transferring/recognizing custom TonePrints that have been made on another device.

For example if I made a custom TonePrint on my iPhone stored it into the Plethora and then connected the Plethora to my PC I would not be able to recall that TonePrint.
At this moment in time the only way around this would be to create multiple versions of your custom TonePrint across all devices.

Being able to recall custom TonePrints on multiple devices is a feature request already on the Dev teams list and they are looking into this, however, I cannot confirm if or when this will be implemented.

I'm new at this harmonizing pedal thing, is there a way to set an automatic low 3rd harmony in my Acoustic Play? I send my guitar signal so the pedal recognizes which key I'm in, so it needs to be automatic, without assigning a key to the preset. Is there a way?

Hi , I can't get the internal Metronome to work with the Backingtrack .

It is possibile ? Or it only works with the Looper ?

I've seen in the User manual this :

Under Output setting :Backing Track setting With the Backing Track setting, Backing Tracks are routed to the guitar outs. If both outputs are connected, the signal is in stereo. If one is connected, the signal is summed to mono. This mode allows you to have a two-component Backing Track where “the click” is sent to one ¼” output and “the track” to the other. These signals can then be independently routed wherever you Setup VL3X – Reference manual (updated 2015-10-20) 161 wish. Usually, you will have “the track” go to the front-of-house mixer and “the click” to a stage/ monitor mix (or the drummer). If you’re listening to Backing Tracks over your headphones, you’ll hear hear the split tracks as described here, with “the click” on one side and “the track” in the other.

    Thanks for the Answer

I've connected two mono source inputs and I want to output/distribute these as full-range outputs to two pairs of speakers.

Channel 1 - input, sent to output channel 1 and 3.

Channel 2 - input, sent to output channel 2 and 4.

All outputs should be full-range, not low, mid or high only.

Is there a way to set this up with the Ultradrive Pro?

Good afternoon friends. I'm Leonardo. I got a Behringer Wing and I had a problem updating the firmware.
While I was trying to update through my iMac, there was a power outage. now i can't access the console data. so I can not enter . I try to connect with my usb connected to the iMac holding the selection button next to Screen, open two partitions on the computer and put a current firmware and even then, it doesn't restart. I continue with the machine without data. How can I solve this problem. I live in Angola and there is no store for me to go to. Help me friends and sorry for my english mistakes.
the screen does not light up
