    Hi Behringer,

I am looking for a parallel loop mixer and am wondering if you could be of assistance to put something like this together.

The unit should fit into a 1U 19” Rack enclosure.

There should be 8 loops onboard each with send and return level, phase invert switch and switchable muff pi style tone stack.

It should have master input and output level adjust.

Loop 8 and 7 should have Feedback control, and should be routable in series or parallel. 8 in 7 / 7 in 8 or parallel.

Switching of the 8 Loops should be possible by front panel push/push switches and on status should be displayed by a corresponding LED.

Additionally Midi in out thru sockets should be provided at the back on the unit, facilitating Midi switching of the loops via PGM Changes.

0 to 127 User presets containing all 8 loop switch and tone status should be stored in non volatile memory and programmed by a simple to use midi learn push/push switch on the front panel.

A Program Number display would be an advantage but not neccessary.

A 240V switched solid state power supply should be onboard as well.

A bonus would be a break out floor board with the 8 loops, bypass and midi learn switches onboard connected with a single mono ¼” Jack lead.

    Now why, you might ask?

I have been looking for something like this for years. I have various vintage 19” effect units I would like to revive. And unfortunately they are all more or less designed to be used as effects on a mixing board feeding back through a return channel.

Essentially this is what I am trying to achieve but for just 1 guitar signal and up to 8 FX sends and returns.

Currently there is only The EHX Tri Mix and the Wounded Paw Blender V4 which come close to what I am looking for but they are both landmines that integrate badly into a rack environment.

Personally, I have three 19” Tube Preamps, two vintage compressors and three Multi FX units that I would like to setup like that in my studio as well as being able to take them on the road.

If you can hear me I really would like to hear from you too.

    Kind regards

Greetings all, I have an issue. I have been using a G System in front of 2 clean amps in stereo for over a year. Incredible unit, kicking drive pedals in and out, flawless, incredible sound. I have just purchased a JVM205H head and wanted to use the full MIDI implementation and the effects loop on the head with the G System, I'm getting MIDI controller changes to the head, it will insert pedals when I want, but none of the modulation effects, delays, reverbs or anything else is making it to the head. I'm using the 4CM in the loop, I've tried the series and parallel both and nothing. It sounds terrible going straight into the input so any help will be greatly appreciated. TIA

I'm considering buying a FBQ800 equalizer to use with headphones driven by a computer through the headphone output jack or USB port.  The headphones are Sony #7506 with impedance approximately 60ohm.  The headphone cable has the usual single 1/8" male plug with  1/4" male adapter available.  Questions:

    Connecting computer to FBQ800 inputs:

    1) Can the output of a 1/8" computer headphone jack feed the FBQ800 directly?  If Yes, what cabling and adapters are needed?  If no, what other devices and cabling are needed to connect the headphone jack to FBQ800 inputs?

    2) Can the output of a USB port feed the FBQ inputs directly, or would I need a D/A converter between the USB port and FBQ800?

    Connecting FBQ800 outputs to headphones:

    3) What cabling and adapters are needed to connect the FBQ800 outputs to the headphone?  Other devices needed or recommended?

Other things I should know for this purpose?

There does not appear to be a FREEZE button on the X32 edit version of Vintage Room.

Nigel67 Hi Syntrax87. The Freeze button is not yet available in the remote Gui. Unfortunately there is no timeline at present for when it will be added.

I've just purchased a Ditto x4 and it's freezing after around 30 seconds every time I switch it on. All the switches stop working and the lights just stay in whatever mode they were before it froze.

I've tried updating the firmware and I checked to make sure the SD card is in position. Absolutely no idea what's wrong with it. Incredibly frustrating. I've not been able to hear anything the pedal does yet.

Nigel67 Hi GarethThomas. I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues with your newly purchased unit. Have you tried factory resetting the unit. Hold down the Loop 1 switch for 13 seconds, the Loop switch LED will blink orange (once) and red (once) when the reset is complete. If the unit is within 30 days of purchase, please contact the shop that you purchased it from and ask for a DOA replacement. If it is over 30 days old then we can get the unit repaired. Please submit a Service ticket. This can be done by clicking on the support tab at the top of the page. A new window will open. Scroll down and click on the Service tab and submit a ticket. A colleague will then get back to you with an RMA number and advise the local service centre to you. Many thanks

Just noticed when I submitted a ticket for an issue with a different product that the Tribe says my previous issue was solved when it absolutely was not?? Anyone else have this issue?

ChrisEdwards1 Hi CrookStewartIII, upon checking the case I can see one of my colleagues responded on 25/05/2021. It is highly possible the case was routed to your spam/junk folder as we have seen this in the past, could you please check these locations for me and confirm? You can use the case number to search for any responses as this is always included in the subject line.
If you are unable to find a response could you please let me know and if possible provide an alternative email address? I will then request they reach out to you again.

I use the AUX to play backing tracts from a laptop in order to use the harmony preset effects. But, I don't want the backing tracks to go out with my vocals. How can I mute the AUX on output?

    Thanks for any help.

Nigel67 Hi shivanandb. Please submit a Technical Support ticket and the Technical team will be able to help you further. When submitting your ticket, please submit more information on what signals are coming into the mixer and from where and what audio do you want to be sending back into the computer via the USB. What are you using the ALT3-4 for? I see that you have the USB / 2-TR To Main pressed which means that you are sending audio from the computer to the mixer. If you are hoping to mix this audio with the audio being mixed on the mixer and then send it back to the computer, this is not possible, as this could cause feedback issues. The audio from the computer down the USB is mixed in post the USB send from the mixer to the computer. You will only hear it on the Main Output connectors on the rear of the console. If you wanted to hear that audio as well, then you would have to feed it into an input. To submit a Technical ticket, click on the support tab at the top of the page. A new window will open. Scroll down and click on the Technical Support tab and submit a ticket. Many thanks

    Hi Folks!

I am new to operating a mixing board! I am lucky to have an opportunity to use the X32-Mix as my first. It's a small setup in a church sanctuary. We have an s16 digital snake that does amazing stuff. My issue is my talkback system.

i ran some talkback mic for the band so that we may converse during performances. I cannot seem to set them up to not transmit through the FOH speakers. I just want them to be heard over the iem system. They are plugged in to the s16 and are on channels 21 to 23 on the board. Hopefully this is enough info for someone to help me with. Any input is appreciated. Thanks! Barry

KyleJohnson Hello, it sounds like you just need to remove those channels from the Main LR. You can select each channel and then look at the LR light on the board, if it's lit up then the channel is assigned to the Mains. You can also select the channel and then open the HOME>MAIN menu and see if the LR light is lit up there.

Hey Kyle! Thanks for replying. I did see that but couldn’t figure out how to unselect it. I will try it again when I get set up for Sunday. I will post the results afterwards
