All audio (Games, Spotify, Discord, Browser, Discord, and other media) is cutting off / stuttering for a split second before returning to normal. I have owned the GoXLR mini for about 1 month and haven't had a problem till today when this started and I have tried updating BIOS, changing USB ports, uninstalling / reinstalling drivers, disabled all other option besides GoXLRs in sound settings, and updating windows, all with no luck in fixing this issue.
Hi TC Helicon,
Go XLR mini user here. I am enjoying the product and have had it since launch, it's working well, and the updates and support have been great so far.
I would like to request a feature for the Go XLR App, a setting to have the App start minimized to system tray. My experience is that when I first start Windows the GOXLR App always pops up, but the reality is I just want it to start up in the background. It should only show up if I need to take an action, like the device wasn't detected. I don't normally need to change anything each time I start Windows, so there's no need for it to pop up each time
You could slot this option into Global settings. It could be labelled "Start GOXLR App minimized to system tray".
Bonus suggestion, to optimize Windows startup time, it might be possible to use a delayed startup for this app. I doubt that this App is the first thing users would need to use on startup, and delayed startup would be fine. I haven't looked into feasibility of that, so not sure what's involved, or if it's feasible (normally its an options for services rather than executables)
And Bonus bug fix, I use a minimalist lighting scheme where I have the lights On when a button is active. e.g. If mute is on, the light is on, if it's off, there is no light. The bug is, on Windows startup the microphone mute button shows on, but it's not actually muted. Pressing the mute button to toggle it off, and back on does apply the mute. Not a major issue, but fix it if you want to. I would attach the profile, but your form only accepts images.
Thx
Hello, I have just purchased a Go XLR Mini and I am having trouble with setting it up. I have watched a video from "Alpha Gaming" on Youtube but I cannot seem to get it working.
I am trying to run a dual pc but neither my gaming pc nor my streaming pc acknowledges that the Go XLR is present when it's connected via input/output.
So i tried going for 1 pc and even then I have a Hyper X Resolver s headset and I cannot get this working with both mic and audio. Is there something else I need to purchase in order to get both of these working?
This is a bit long winded but thank you for your help
Hi,
Can I use the Asus ROG Theta headset with the GoXLR. It's a USB type C connection but will it work if I connect my pc and GoXLR via a 3.5mm jack cable?
Thanks in advance,
EmperorStorky
I recently purchased a goxlr mini and use it for streaming to twitch. I have had it less than a month, and I am starting to have random crashes with it. It will completely reboot, shutdown the goxlr app and restart it. It is making it really difficult to stream. Any help would be appreciated.
hi @wldfire34
Could you please open up a technical support ticekt (Hit support at the top) and provide as much information on how the device is setup and how it is behaving as possible (Other connected devices/specs of your computer/app version etc) .
If you are also able to could you try to capture this happening and upload a short video to a file sharing platform, and then include a link to the video in the case?
For my Outputs, I have a headphone connected to the GoXLR and have all audio except for Mic routing to Headphones. The problem is when audio output becomes too low, such as someone talking while music is playing, I will only hear the person talk, and then my headphones will mute the background music once they are done talking. My assumption is that the Mic Gate setting is applying itself to my headphone output, but I have no idea how to prevent that.
Hi,
What version of windows?
How are you casting, chrome etc?
What is the make and model of your TV.
Do you have a Chromcast HDMI dongle or similar to try as an alternative?
When you select the cast desktop option, the whole computer properties/software is being mirrored. You might have some software running in the computer that compromise the compatibility of the audio which is not compatible with the Chrome browser.
Try this:
Btw, can you suggest some laptops that would be good for streaming and playing games? Do you have any experience with gaming laptops?

Hi @mike115
sorry for the delay in contacting you.
Did you manage to get your rig working?
Personally what I would do is have your Mic in Channel 1 on your xenyx and then try to get your hands on a TRRS to Dual TRS splitter cable (similar to this https://www.amazon.co.uk/CablesOnline-4-Position-3-Position-Splitter-IP-AY12C/dp/B00N03ZYUU)
With the above splitter, connect the TRRS section to your Pads mic port, and then the headphone side to one of the line inputs. This will then allow you to have your chat mic, party chat, and game audio sent via USB to your broadcast PC.
Finally connect the mic side of the splitter to one of the Aux outputs on the console. What you can now do is build a separate mix of what is being sent back to the party.
Does the above make sense?
If not please let me know and I can try to elaborate.
