    My Church has an X32 Producer by Behringer. I'm going to video someone in via live video conference. I'm using my laptop to conference them in. I need to run all audio through the board, so that it's heard in the house. I need a mix for the incoming audio and another mix to go back to the person being conferenced in. 1) I also need to be able to livestream services to youtube/Facebook. I need listeners to be able to hear the band, choir and preached word. Can anyone help us?

      @JosephLeeTaylor

      This will be a basic live sound reinforcement gig with a separate mix for the livestream using one (or a linked pair) of aux busses sent back to the Card (USB).

      Treat the incoming audio stream as another source to be mixed in the live show.

      The live stream usually need a seperate mix to account for live instruments not being present in the room that receives the stream (Acoustics instruments).

      The essential parts needed to send the stream mix to USB 1 & 2 depend on how your board is configured and used. I don't suppose you want to sacrifice a pair of wedges for the livestream since you ought to have room to do both. If you can upload your latest scene file, we can look at it and further advise.

    First time posting here.

    Can I setup the XLR outputs independant of the stage box outputs?

    Setup is FOH M32 AES50-A --> DL32 AES50-A at stage/amp room. FOH M32 AES50-B --> M32C AES50-A LiveStream Broadcast mix.

    I have 6 IEMs being sent from FOH, 3 wedge mixes off the DL32, and the Mains off the AES/EBU 15/16 on the DL32.

    Can I take over the FOH M32 XLR outputs for the M32C LiveStream mix? They are currently on the Aux outputs.

    The other question: can I make the DL32 outputs independent of the FOH outputs.

    It seems like this all should be doable under the User Outputs. When I have tried a few different options I loose the mixbuss outputs on the DL32. It may not be an issue just having it all duplicating, just annoying that I can't get my head wrapped around it.

    Thanks

    Patrick

      Hi Patrick @Mulmany ,

      Welcome to the forum. The FOH M32 XLR outputs are assigned signals on the Routing, XLR Out (in banks of 4). With your current interconnectivity mapping that you have provided, the DL32 outputs are assigned signals on the Routing, AES50 A1-8 and A9-16 (in banks of 8). The Out 1-16, Aux Out and Ultranet screens are used to assign individual outputs to make up these banks of 4 or 8. With the new firmware (4.x) you can also use the new User In and User Out to make up these banks as well.

      Just to add a little bit to this, Yes they can be separate. As @Paul_Vannatto  said the xlr outs of the foh m32 would be routed in the 'Xlr  out' menu. If you want to use them for the m32c mixes, you would use aes50b 1-4/5-8/9-12/13-16 as the output selections for xlr out. Send the proper mixes from the M32c in the usual way, most likely using its 'out 1-16' menu for the M32c aes50a outputs 1-8 and 9-16.

      You then use the FOH M32 aes50a out menu to dictate the DL32 outputs which can be the same or totally different than the aes50b selections used in the XLR out menu. They can be direct outs of ch's or mix buses derived on the FOH desk, probably just what you have set now will be fine.

    Good morning,

    Is there a way to have compression and effects on a stereo subgroup?

      Yes, since a stereo subgroup is a stereo linked mixbus pair and should have all processing available including compression. For effects, simply send the desired FX returns (also stereo linked pairs) to that subgroup.

    Hello. I have 2 questions for you, sorry if I couldn't find the answer in my search.

    1). I am new to live streaming, but have been using the X32 in my church since 2013. I have setup my X32 to have a Stereo bus that is setup as a recording bus. I want to send this stereo bus (8 & 9) via the X32's X-UF card to my OBS software which is on Windows 10. I'd like to be able to send this bus from the X32 WITH the effects, ie, reverb, EQ and other effects that I have on the channels. Is it possible to do this? If so, could you tell me how?

    2). Secondly, I can't seem to get the sound from the X-UF card to come into my PC running OBS. I have an audio input setup in OBS, and I have the Behringer X-UF In for channels 1 & 2 selected, but when I record with OBS I don't see the audio coming in when I look at the recording level meter for the Behringer input. The X-UF card works just fine when I am using it for a totally different purpose, which is to record 32 channels of audio using Ableton Live 10. But I would much rather instead of using Ableton Live to have audio mastering on the worship use a stereo bus with effects so that I don't have so much post production work to do. The X32 is setup using a USER out from a matrix. I am running 4.02 firmware. Could someone please help with getting sound in, and with that sound having the effects?

    Thanks so much everyone!

    Bart

      @BartMitchell

      You can add FX returns to the stereo recording bus pair. Select the first (left) bus and use the Sends-on-Fader function with the FX layer to access the FX Return sends. Use the same signal-tap for these sends as you have for the channel sends to the recording bus pair.

      If you are running a recent version of Windows 10, it may be blocking the WASAPI (Windows sound) interface. Check on Settings -> Privacy -> Microphone that access by OBS is permitted. The setting affects all WASAPI audio inputs to Windows and many apps.

      If you can record using the ASIO interface, you could install the ASIO for OBS plugin so OBS can take its sound source from any of the USB channels.

      @Woodwerks

      Hello Scott, welcome to the community.

      You would set a pre-fader send from both Main L and Main R to a single Matrix. Then route the Matrix to an appropriate output.

      If you need help with this, export your current scene and attach the .scn file to your post (see Choose File button below)Or, if you use X32 Edit, we could show you the settings.

    I'm still trying to get away from taking my live stream audio from the headphone monitor out, but I cannot get enough time one the board in a non-live situation to try to correct this. Currently, someone before me used a 1/4 inch to dual RCA to quick-and-dirty get some audio output into the live stream box (StreamSpot One).

    I'm using X32-Edit to try to learn the board. I've created a scene that I believe might be at least one way to get the Main L/R mix sent to the Aux 5&6 RCA jacks which would allow me to move there. Would someone be willing to take a look at this scene and tell me if it might do what I think it will do?

    As a side note, many have already mentioned that with live drums and/or amps, this might not be best as the output migth be vocal heavy - however - we use electronic drums and DI boxes (rather than amps) on instruments, so I don't think this will be an issue.

    Hello all, first time posting, and failry new to the audio world.

    We have recenlty puchaced a X32 Rack for our broadcast feed and are having trouble routing the local Aux in from the X32 Producer at FOH. The Aux in is our iMac that sits at FOH to run our video for the room.

    We have connected the X32 Producer to the X32 Rack via AES - B side to B side,
    as the A side of the AES is going to 2 SD16 on the stage.

    That flow is X32 Producer  AES50 (A) out to the first SD16 into the A port.
    Out if the first SD16 out via the B port into the A port of the second SD16

    We have managed to route all of the live channels to the Rack, however I can not seem to get the Aux to send over. We have tried to assign the our local Aux 6 channel ( imac) to a open channel on the board (30) but that is not coming through either.  I am sure it is somthing simple that I am missing, but after 2 weeks of looking at videos, and reading threads, I need someone with the knowledge to point me in the right direction.

    Thank you in advance for your help.

      @Rickym360

      Hello, you need to get aux1-6/T as an aes50 bank of 8 to your Rack so as to grab your aux in ch's on the producer. Probably better to use a "user out" bank (4.02 firmware) so as not to waste all 8 ch's esp if you just need 2. That way you can grab just the aux ch's you need. Not sure how many ch's you need input wise on the Rack so maybe that's not an issue. There is a way around it using aux remap and moving over the other banks to the left also...but the new user banks are very helpful.  You can create whatever order that works.

      EDIT:

      This is an example of a user out menu for the producer using aes50a in 1-30 (from your stageboxes) and then aux ch 1 and 2 on the producer for user ch 31 and 32:

      x.PNG

      This is an example of that user out menu being sent from aes50B to the Rack:

      user out to rack.png

      Then on the Rack just choose aes50b 1-32 in groups of 8 as the inputs. Producer aux ch 1 and 2 should show up on the Rack ch 31 and 32.
