      Hey Guys,

New member here with first post. I just bought a TC Electonics Brainwaves and am trying to figure out how to do a very simple effect with it. For the time being I just want to run it mono with a detune effect. I just want the dry signal and 6 or 7 cent effect on it. No delay, no repeats, none of the 2nd's, 3rds, 4ths or other semi tones or octaves. Just a straight forward 6 or 7 cents that I can mix in. I drove all over this town to find the appropriate cable and have downloaded the tone print app. But I can's find where you can set individual cents. Can anyone help? Thank you,

Trying to hook up an android to a xenyx mixer. Am I understanding correctly that you need a mono (not stereo 1/4"adapter) to get the correct signal into a mono channel or a 3.5mm to a splitter 1/4 mono to go left and right?

Hello Bobby, welcome to the community.

You should use a stereo splitter cable like this and connect to a stereo channel. There really is not a way to connect both stereo sides to a mono input but you could connect just one side of the splitter cable if you don't have a spare stereo channel.

Cables that have a 3.5mm TRS plug on one end and a 1/4" TRS plug on the other will not work correctly for this application.

      Hi @Markcuson,

      I hope you are well.

It is only possible to link like for like units via Bluetooth, unfortunately with this in mind, the setup mentioned will not work. Please also note this is the same for the V1 and V2 versions of the iP Range.

Due to a difference in DSP, it is not possible to link for example an iP500 V1 with its V2 counterpart.

      Hope this helps

All I can see is the mic and mic clip, what would be missing? Looks like you would only need a mic cable, they usually don't come with the mic. If there are other mic parts missing, it can't be seen in that photo.

How do you connect a Sangean DAR-101 to a xenyx 802 to record and play?

Hello Larry, welcome to the community.

It looks as though the DAR-101 has a 3.5mm stereo socket for line input. You should be able record from the 802's 2-Track Output by connecting a cable like this to the DAR-101's Line IN. Make sure the 2-TR To Mix button on the 802 is not pressed as this mutes the recording output.

Bought this speaker on line thru Guitar Center. Scratch and dent. Can't find receipt. GC was no help. Amplifier quit working. Where should I send ? Just the amp or complete speaker. Will it be backed by warranty?

If you registered your speakers, seems it would be covered. Maybe not for the full 10 years being dent and scratch but it is possible. Either way, you need to create a CARE ticket. While signed in, click the "Support" tab up top of this page and follow the directions.

How do I connect headphones to the Behringer UMC1820 interface so I can listen to sound from the computer? It seems like it wasnt meant to but it has to be. Im confued and angry : ( !!!

Also: Connecting to the line outputs makes me hear the left earphone, and interestingly enough, when i plug it in half the way, I have stereo... But the quality is poor

Hello Mateusz, welcome to the community.

The UMC1820 Phones output can be set to monitor USB playback 3/4 or a mix of USB playback 1/2 and the inputs - which is controlled by the Mix knob. Connecting stereo headphones to the balanced mono line outputs will not work correctly.

Most of the time when people have problems using headphones with UMC interfaces it is because the headphones have four-pole TRRS plugs intended for smartphones. To use these with a normal stereo TRS outputs, it is necessary to use an adapter cable like this between the headphone plug and the 3.5mm to 1/4" adapter.

I dont think beyerdynamic DT880 are intended for phones...

Yeah, I kind of forgot to mention, obviously i tried connecting it to the headphone output if I tried to do line now... Im not that stupid, but connecting it to the headphone out gives no sound at all. I mean obviously, since windows doesnt even recognize this out? Turning the mix knob just makes more and more hissing noise, when its set to mono its in both earcups... But Its still only hissing, and when the mix monitor knob is set to stereo its only left ear. Is it supposed to be like that?

Can u explain more clearly what do I have to do in order for this to work?? : P

Did you install the UMC1820 driver? Check in Windows Control Panel -> Device Manager to see if the device is listed under Sound, video and game controllers. If it isn't there or is marked with an error flag, you should uninstall it, disconnect the USB, reboot and then reconnect the USB.

When installed correctly, all the outputs should be listed on Windows Control Panel -> Sound -> Playback. In the device Properties there are settings for the level controls which may need adjustment (to 100%).

So you are playing music to UMC1820 outputs 1/2, you have headphones connected to one of the UMC's Phones outputs, you have the 1/2 button out and the Monitoring Mix control turned clockwise and you don't hear anything? What software are you using for playback?
