I opened a ticket for a repair under warranty to a faulty Behringer Ultragraph Pro FBQ1502HD in Victoria Australia. The ticket was closed with little to no support for a service centre in my area nor even country. That's a rather bad business model. Can anyone assist me to find a service centre please?

Nigel67 Hi DocM60. I am very sorry that your ticket was not replied to. It is possible that someone did reply and the reply ended up in your spam / junk folder. Please can you look there. What was your case number? For Warranty Service, please contact the shop that you purchased the unit from and they will arrange the warranty repair, otherwise please contact our Superpartner in Australia who are Australis.

Nigel67 I have just checked the ticketing system and can see that your e-mail was replied to on the 24th, so i think this must have ended up in your spam / junk. I see you also submitted a second ticket last night, but this has yet to be answered.

Email received -----"Please be aware that you are located in an unsupported territory.
This means that for further assistance you will need to directly contact your nearest reseller or distributor and they will be able to advise you further.
If you click on the below links and then press the "Buy" tab, this will give you a full list of our international resellers and service centres who can assist you." ---------Frustration as this is an unrepliable email sent, and the link just sends me back to the start. A 'dead end' ticket in actuality. Thanks for the info Nigel67, appreciate your effort. The "buy tab" sheds no light at all. It's a pain to just get a repair sorted out. I await replies to email and phone message I left. The seller was of no help either.

I run the sound at church and know very little about what I am doing. We have had this mixer for about 1.5-2yrs. The issue has been on and off but continues to get worse. The mixer generates its own WiFi that we connect to with an iPad. Very often the iPad will not connect. Sometimes it won't even be able to find the XR WiFi.

We have tried a few different troubleshooting ideas and nothing helps. There is nothing else (phone or computer) trying to connect to the WiFi. We have also tried other iPads. What am I doing wrong?

Nigel67 The XR16 internal wifi uses the 2.4GHz frequency which is the most common and it could be that with all the mobile phones around, etc, the frequency is becoming log jammed. Have you tried using an external router which also uses the 5GHz frequency. This also gives the advantage that you can place the router higher up as having the antenna low down will also affect the wifi range. Please see this video that may be helpfiul.

      • Behringer x air 16 not connecting to ipad
Fbch I will try that this week. I have an Ethernet cable run to the sound board but I do not have a computer over there. So if I connect the mixer to my modem, I can connect to the app via the church WiFi? (Like I said, most of this goes over my head)

Hi Fbch. many apologies for the delay in getting back to you. For some reason I only received the notification that you had replied this morning. How did you get on connecting to the wifi. I would advise probably using a separate router rather than the church wifi. if you don't move around the church, have you thought about getting an adapter for the ipad so that you can connect it directly to the ethernet port and charge at the same time. You can purchase Lightning to ethernet port adapters which also have a power adapter as well. A long as the ipad isn't moved around a lot for the cable to be pulled out, then this would probably be your most secure connection followed by the external router.

      DavidKnighton Hello JonMac,
We sell single channel mic systems and dual channel mic systems. You bought the single channel mic systems, however what you should have bought was the dual channel mic system. You can not pair two single channel mics to a single channel dongle because it only operates on 1 channel, and you need two operating channels, one for each mic.

    Hi all,

I am new here. Just want to ask a simple question - can  I connect behringer PA 500BT system with TV so can do karaoke. Currently using my mobile to read the lyrics and thus have to give and take mobile depending whose lyrics currently are. I am thinking it will be easy to read lyrics on TV by the person singing the songs.

Nigel67 Hi cpaamit1. You just want to send audio from the TV to the PPA500BT? If so, then that shouldn't be an issue, you just need to see what connections you have on the rear of the tv will will give an audio output. If the tv has phono outputs, then you can plug them to the phono inputs on the PPA500BT. Depending on the type of output from the TV, you may have to play around with the tv volume control. Have just checked my tv and it only has HDMI outputs, no phono, so you may have to buy some type of HDMI - phono adapter as well. Hope this helps

Hi, first of all please excuse my total ignorance on this subject, but I have a VMX 300 USB, which my husband installed, linked into a small box labelled S.M.S.L (he passed away 5 years ago and the sound system has been in constant use daily), it appears that the speakers feed into the box which then supplies a CGV television controller plus the amp .. all that this small box appears to control is the sound level ... this small box has stopped working, it alluminated as usual this morning, but at some point when I was not in the room it must have failed (or possibly a problem with the transformer?).

Would I be safe in assuming that I could bypass this box and connect the speakers directly into the amp? I don't want to matters wose!?

thanks for any advice anyone can give me,

JulesC ps I'm so stupid .. apparently the VMX 300 USB is just the mixer, any advice on what I should replace the amp with?

Nigel67 Hi JulesC. I am not sure that we are going to be able to help you but can you send a picture of the S.M.S.L device and does it have another name (model number) on it. I think you will probably have to go to a hi-fi store for their help, but I will try and help you further to see if we manufacture anything similar. S.M.S.L is not manufactured by us but a Chinese Company from searching the internet. You may be able to purchase a direct replacement from them

Hi I want to connect an old analog record deck to my bluetooth speakers (i know that this is an offensive idea to purists). The record deck has a DIN output and I guess I will need to get a bluetooth transmitter capable of pairing with the speakers. But what is the best sort of amp/prepamp that IO should get to sit in-between.

    • Hugobr
Nigel67 Hi Hugobr. This all depends on your bluetooth device, whether it has analogue or digital inputs or may even have a pre-amp built into it. Cost is also another factor, how much do you want to spend. Behringer makes a pre-amp but you will have to make an adapter cable from you DIN plug to phono. I think that you will find it very unlikely to find a pre-amp or bluetooth device that has a DIN plug on it. The Behringer pre-amp is the PP400

I loaded XAir to my new MacBook Air M1, apple will not open it. "M18-edit can't be opened because apple cannot check it for malicious software." So I sent a message to contacts in music tribe, and they sent me an FAQ for catalina having this issue. This is not working for me with Big Sur? Any thoughts or ideas? I know many things with this new M1 silicone processor do not work like it did with the intel processor. I am also new to Apple, so as detailed as you could be please. Apple is like learning a new language right now for me.

john0121 Hi Ryan, think it was me who sent you the article referring to Catalina but the same should apply. If you go into the security settings in system preferences you should be able to allow the program to open. If not could you reply to my email with a screen shot of the security page from system preferences so I can see the settings you have. Thanks

Hi can someone help me. I've purchased a behringer umc22 and a tonor tw820 wireless mic system to do karaoke using YouTube karaoke songs. I've set both devices as per instructions but I'm not getting any sound from the mic. My Mac recognises the umc22 and lights flash when I speak into the mic but I can't hear my voice. Am I doing something wrong. Any help is much appreciated

      Nigel67 Hi Michael, If you press the Direct Monitor button, can you hear the microphone through your headphones? We need to confirm that your MAC can definitely see the UMC22. Can you do the following;
To check that your MAC is seeing your device connected to it via a USB connector, the following procedure will help.

Plug your unit in to the MAC, and power both on
Press the CMD + Spacebar at the same time to open a search bar.
In the search bar, type 'system information' and select this option when it appears in the search.
A new page will open and in the column down left hand side select 'USB'
The right hand side of the page will now show all the USB connections the MAC has.
If the MAC can see the unit that you have connected, it will be listed in the right hand side of the page under one of the USB connections.
If your unit is listed, then the problem will more than likely be an incorrect setting in the software you are connecting to.
If the unit is not listed, then check all connections, power and cables and if possible try another computer.

Are you using the original USB cable. What DAW are you using? Can you confirm that for recording and playback, you have the UMC22 selected? What OS is the MAC running. Do you have another computer that you can try?

mickange Hi Nigel thank you for your response. I have since opened GarageBand on my Mac and can get sound through that. I had no idea I needed software to hear the mic. I assumed I could open YouTube on safari and just sing to the songs. GarageBand is difficult to understand for a novice like me. Can you suggest an easier way to get my mic to run with YouTube. Thanks for your time Nigel.

Nigel67 Hi Michael. I am sorry, but I have never made a You Tube video so am not really in a position to be able to give you any advice. There are plenty of videos on You Tube showing you what software you would need. You could try Audacity, which is probably easier than Garageband and it is also a free software.

Hi all. I am new here and am in no way a musician. I am rather a music and movie enthusiast. I purchased a Behringer FBQ1000 at the begining of 2020. I have hust unpacked it this week and was thinking of using it as a parametric equaliser to equalize the subwoofer in my home theater that I drive with the EP2500 in bridge mode. I have read all I can, the user manual and a few other white papers, watched a few videos on YouTube although the one I was intersted in was in a language I could not understand, Polish I think. For the life of me, I can't get any frequencies to stick. Here is what I have tried so far: Factory reset- Filter Mode=PA Filter select= I have tried #4 & #5. Filter select 1, choose a frequency Ex: 25Hz Bandwidt and gain and then hit store once. The display flashes for the chosen filter select (4 or 5). When it stops, I go to filter 2, and repeat the same operation for the 6 filter bands I need. But when I shut off and turn on again, it shows the chosen channel in the display (4 or 5) but all the red leds are flashing like no filters have been applied. Then it seems to be counting and some of the leds turn solid red all the way to the last filter. This takes around 30 minutes to complete I am using REW software to figure out the filters I need. What am I doing wrong?
