Can someone please tell me where to download the drivers for the xenyx 802 (not the Q802) and please don't direct me to the Beringher website with downloads, as I've tried there, and it's nowhere to be found. All the other online links are sites that charge for the download, or dodgy. Thanks in advance.

RexBeckett Hi Adysax, the stereo USB interface on Xenyx 802USB mixers is supported by Windows 10 using its standard USB Audio Codec drivers. You can also install the optional ASIO4ALL driver to reduce latency when using DAW software that supports the ASIO interface. Download from: https://www.asio4all.org/

You are wise to avoid downloading USB drivers from unofficial web sources. Some are very old and can cause a lot of problems if installed on Windows 10.

      These notes may help: https://community.musictribe.com/discussions/77059/297127/windows-10-and-stereo-usb-mixers-interfaces

Hi, this has got to be the worst website I've ever had the misfortune to be on! I've tried replying to you several times, and the replies just disappear! Apart from this one, which I've edited.... Yeah. I've tried using the Xenyx 802 with the 'UCA222' connection through the usb, and again via the headphone socket as a direct line through to the speakers, without any joy at all.

RexBeckett Ahh, I had not understood that you were using a separate USB Audio interface. If you can give a more detailed explanation of how you have the equipment connected and how you want it to work, we may be able to help. A photo of the mixer surface would also be useful - to see how the controls are set.

The UCA22 is the device on the left, which connects the Xenyx 802 directly to the computer via the USB. I didn't know that this was an 'add on' to enable this, if I had have known, then I wouldn't have purchased it, as it's a hassle with all the added leads. The Xenyx Q802 has a built-in USB connection, and also comes with drivers that are downloaded from the Beringher website. But with the plain old 802, they're not.

I want it to work as the sound card for the computer, so that it handles the audio from streaming channels, as well as the audio through my DAW (Mixcraft 9). At the moment, I can only hear the mixer if it is connected directly from the headphone plug, directly to the powered speakers of my computer. Even with the USB device applied, I can't get the audio through streaming, Media player, or DAW program to work.

Nigel67 There is only one built in fx channel of which you have the choice of 1 of 32 presets. You can either assign this to one input channel or multiple channels by turning up the relevant FX Send (orange) knobs. So if you want the FX only to affect one channel, you turn up the FX Send on that channel. If you want that FX on more than one channel, then you turn up the FX Send knobs on all those particular channels. You could use external fx if more were needed by using the Aux Send 2 and returning this into the Aux Return.

Whenever I plug my headphones into my Audio Interface I can only "Direct Monitor" while holding down on the clicker (Talkback Button) Is there some kind of way to have the clicker always on or something? As it's hard to record while holding the button down

Or is it due to my Audio Interface I use a Berhinger U-phoria Um2 with a Audio Technica AT2020

Or is it due to my DAW I use Adobe Audition or Reaper

Please I really need an answer

ChrisEdwards1 Hi ChrisDimitriades, the "Direct Monitoring" switch is designed to be pushed in to activate the feature and will always be on when pushed in, it does not need to be held down. If the switch is not engaging correctly it could be a fault with the unit, could you please submit a technical support case with a video showing the issue so we can assist further.

To submit a case please go to support at the top of the page and scroll down to the Technical support tab.

My Pro Tools 12 is not recognizing channels 3 and 4 of my Behringer UMC 404HD interface

Suggestions? When I select an input for a track, PT usually gives me  4 channel choices on my interface.

    I am getting only 1 and 2.

Have I pushed a wrong button somewhere?

Sorry, and thanks for any help......

Can anyone help with my UMC22? It starts crackling when I turn on the phantom power and start monitoring. I also have the audio driver from the official website which is ASIO4ALL. But it's perfectly fine when I'm using my instrument the monitoring also working fine. It only comes the problem with the microphone with the phantom power. Almost forger, the interface is directly connected to my computer. I don't have a USB hub.

      DavidKnighton Hello Poyopo666,
A few things to suggest; check the mic cable is not intermittent. If one of the leads is broken, it could cause a bad phantom power connection, which very well could cause a crackling noise. Also make sure you mic is intended to receive phantom power. Check the phantom power without a mic connected and see if the UMC makes noise without anything connected.

DavidKnighton It is possible the mic is bad, or the mic cable, but to be sure you should swap them out one at a time. If you swap both and the crackling noise persists, then you may have a faulty UMC.

    Hi there,

I run a church and we're looking at the XR18 for one of our new plants (we currently use a X32).

One of the features we'd love to be able to do is to record directly onto a Flash drive like we do from the X32.  It looks like the XR16 has this functionality but it seems like the XR18 has a USB type B.

Please can someone let me know if I can still record directly to a flash drive with the XR18 (assuming I convert from type B to type A)?

    Many thanks

    Tom

KyleJohnson Hello, Kyle here with Music Tribe. The USB Port on the XR18 and X18 can not be used to record to a flash drive. These USB ports are strictly 18/18 USB Interfaces to record using a Mac or PC. The XR16 and XR12 have USB flash drive recorder options.

RupertHuntTaylor Hi Tom, I'm in exactly the same position, trying to set up a church sound system for a new venue, with 9 days to go! Did you figure out a way forward? I'm trying to chose between the XR16 and XR18, and the recording ease is a key thing. I think only the XR16 lets you record to a thumb drive, but from what I can find out it's also harder to interface with a Macbook because no USB-B. XR18 seems set up to record every channel rather than the Main mix, which is overkill for us. Do you know if it's possible to record wirelessly in the iPad or MacBook ap? Or over an ethernet connection direct to a MacBook?

    Hello,

We are running an M32 FOH currently and have an x32 producer we will be running for live stream mix.  I think there is a pretty simple way to use the AES50 connection to link the inputs, but still run the x32 producer as it's own unit.  Anyone have a link or suggestions on procedure and routing?

Nigel67 Hi gibsovi. You haven't mentioned whether you are using an IO box with the M32, so I will assume you are. If the IO box is connected to the AES50 A, then you will need to take a cable from the AES50B to the AES50 A of the X32. To route the audio from the M32 to the X32, go into the AES50 B outputs tab and route the AES50 A inputs to it. Thus you are now sending the audio from the io box post the analogue gain to the X32. On the X32, you then route the AES50 A inputs to the channel inputs. The X32 will be set to Slave as you cannot have two consoles connected to each other as Masters. On the M32, you then need to set up the HA Gain. This will give you control of the analogue gain of the io box from the M32 only and only from the screen, not the surface gain pot. The surface gain pots will only give you digital trim. So you pre-set the analogue gain to a level where the M32 and X32 operators are happy, and then they use their digital trims to make any further adjustments. Here is a very quick video that a user put together for using HA Gain https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D_f196HTcq4 Hope this is helpful.
