I can bypass my VL3X using the three button foot switch, but I can't find a midi cc to do it automatically. Does a midi command exist?

The modem for my Midas M32 board will not turn on, so I have no way to mix with my iPad. The room I'm in isn't conducive to mixing from the board, so I need the ability to mix from an iPad.
Is this a common occurance? Is there some way to reboot the modem, or is it dead and needs replacement?

There are no screws on the back on the outside. I'm trying to replace the speaker and need to open the back of the cabinet to rewire.

john0121 Which one do you have? If you're trying to replace the speaker then it's likely accessed from the front of the unit. Take the grill off and you should find the screws holding the driver in place around it's outside edge. Remove these screws, lift the driver out and unclip the terminals.

Can I connect a laptop or computer to the XR18 with an ethernet cable and also still be able to connect an iPad to the XR18 wifi? If so, how do I do this. Or do I need an external router to accomplish this? Thanks.

KyleJohnson You would need to use a router. The XR18 can be set to connect via Ethernet OR the internal WiFi, so you would need to set it to Ethernet and connect to the Router, then you can connect several devices to the router for control.

Are the X18/X32 Edit apps compatible with the Windows version on MS Surface?

Nigel67 Hi JoeHammons. I am just confirming with the design team that it is fully compatible. There were a few touch issues which I think are fixed now however need to confirm first of all.

Nigel67 I can confirm that the touch issues are all fixed in the latest software release. It appears that there are some control buttons missing from the recorder page but these will be fixed in the next update. I do not have a release date for that at present. Hope this answers your question. All the best.

I just purchased the Behringer PMP4000 for my congregation. We have passive speakers and monitors (1/4 inch mono connecting cables) and no other power amp. Do I have to go out and buy professional locking connectors (NL4FC) to get to my mains and monitors, or is there another way to get a powered signal to the speakers just using the cables I have?

KyleJohnson Hello, Kyle here from Music Tribe. The PMP4000 powered outputs are Speakon connectors only. You can find adapters for your existing 1/4" speaker cables or look into Speakon to 1/4" speaker cables.

SheldonSands2021 Thanks Kyle. Am I likely to find Speakon adapters or Speakon to 1/4 cables at most music/audio shops such as Guitar Center?

KyleJohnson Yes, you should be able to find either at most music shops.

I saw in the manual not to plug in the mic when the unit is powered up. But, I didn't see that before I plug it in and now I have no effects or harmoniew. All the buttons and lights work great, the dry sound of the mic is heard and my guitar is heard out of the unit. I did a factory reset, a firmware update and still no effects or harmonies. Does anyone know the soultion to getting the actual processing back??

    My setup is like this:

    Guitar--(In)Behringer Audio Interface(Out)--Powered Studio Monitors

Laptop running Bias FX2(connected to Behringer Audio Interace by USB)

This setup works as a Home Studio. But I want to play on Stage.

What device do I need (Is it a Direct Box after the Behringer Audio Interface), such that I can connect to an AMP+Cab on stage and still be able to use my Bias FX2 software.

How do I go from playing with Powered Studio Monitors to AMP + Cab on stage (while using the Bias FX2 software).

    Tks

RexBeckett Hi shuq, you need to drop the signal level to suit the amp's instrument input. It would also be an advantage to have transformer isolation to prevent hum from ground-loops. Some passive DI boxes may work but the best solution would be to use one of Radial Engineering's ReAmp interfaces which are designed for this situation. Passive units like the JCR or ProRMP avoid the need for power supplies.

Thanks RexBeckett. Do I need this ReAmp interface behind the Behringer audio interface or I can use this without the Behringer audio interface ?

RexBeckett Hi shuq, from the description in your first post, it seems that you need the USB audio interface to connect your guitar as an input to the FX2 software. You also need it to connect the output from FX2 to whatever amplifier or monitors you are using. A Reamp device just converts a line-level output to one suitable for a guitar amplifier input. It does not replace the input/output functions of the USB audio interface.

Which model of USB audio interface are you using?

There may be other ways to achieve what you want but a Reamp box is a simple way to change your studio rig to use guitar amps in place of studio monitors - without changing the signal flow.
