Quick one: Does the Behringer WING have timecode support and if, also support for external timecode sources?

Why is there no proper and useful user guide we can download for the Plethora X5.

For $450 the product should be supported by TC. We should not have to watch third-party YouTube Videos to learn how to use your product!

Poor customer service. You must have something internally to train employees and testers, well send us that!!

Hello, my less than 6 month old mixer suddenly stopped out putting sound. It's registering sound but like I said not outputting. I've tried everything I can think of (changing cables, speakers, power ect) just wondering if anyone else has run into this problem. Cheers

My Wing was just returned from replacing the warranted malfunctioning touch screen, and now the headphone jacks built in on either side of the console are not working.  I pressed the Monitor Section 'View' and confirmed there is signal.  I also plugged the headphones directly into AUX OUT 7 & 8 which had sound.  I would appreciate any thoughts on what else to try.

    Thanks

GaryHiggins Mon A (headphones) needs to be routed to aux7/8 and Mon A needs to be the focus..maybe it got changed somehow. I think B is for monitor speakers and C is both...

FlipF Mon A is routed to AUX OUT 7/8 (See photo). I did not change anything on my settings, and even tried reloading ‘snapshots’ in case something was just hung up somehow...

Three features requests I would like to log:

    1. Tap Tempo

External tap tempo using a footswitch. I would be fine using the expression pedal input to support this, or maybe the stereo input jack (like the feature on the standalone Flashback 2 you added previously). It would be good if this external tap tempo would control all pedals on the current board that support tempo (so all of them synched to the same tempo you tapped in). I know you have support for using the MASH button as tap tempo, but then I lose the MASH feature which is a huge loss.

    2. Configure Pedal Display

It would be good if we could have a few options for the pedal display. Right now it shows:

    • Top: the name of the effect name (eg. "Hypergravity") in medium font
    • Middle: the type of effect type (eg. "Compressor") in large font
    • Bottom: the toneprint name (eg. "PETE'S TONE ENHANCER") in small font
    • Very Bottom: the author of the toneprint (eg. "TC ELECTRONIC) in small font

For my typical use pattern, it would be more helpful to know the toneprint name and author in larger font so it is more readable when playing (so I know what it is currently set to when I switch boards). The effect name and type are kind of implied by the colour, so it feels kind of a waste of that display real estate.

I don't know the best way to expose this in the UI, but even having a few options where you could choose between what info is large and what is small would be nice.

    3. Linking Pedal Across Boards

I realize this might be a large change to the underlying data model in the firmware, and it might be confusing for some users, but it would be totally perfect for my use case (and potentially others).

I'd like the abililty to link pedals across boards. For example, if I had two boards, then in slot 5 of both pedals, I could have the same Reverb instance. Right now, I can put a Reverb in both boards in slot 5, but they are not linked. So if I change the toneprint on one and then switch boards, that change is not linked and that board's Reverb has its original tone print. Same with pedal on/off...if I turn the reverb on/off on one board, when I switch to the other board, it will retain its previous setting on that board.

Like I said, this is probably by design, as each board is considered an indepenant "scene", but the way I use it is to always have the last two pedals in all my boards be my Delay and Reverb, and then switch boards to change up the other pedals. So it would be nice to have them linked so when I'm playing, any changes to those Delay or Reverb pedals gets applied no matter what board I have selected.

Again, how do you design a UI to do this...that might be tricky. But it would be a very cool advanced feature to add!

Keep up the good work, this is a great product!

Just got my RD-6-BB yesterday and loving it so far. I had an original Roland TR-606 25-years ago and the RD-6 sounds as close as I can remember!

One thing I haven't worked out how to do yet is have a pattern length of 64 steps, which is clearly stated on the box "64 Step Sequencer", in the details blurb and even mentioned in the official Behringer intro video. I don't see any mention of it in the manual though.

So, what's the magic button/mode combo for 64-step patterns?

      DavidKnighton Hi Nedreud,
I regret to inform that the RD-6 is only 16 step. There was a mistake in the packaging design for the first run or so and the product was mislabeled as a 64 step sequencer. Even some retailers advertised based on the product packaging and not the product description from the Behringer website. Please let me know if this is a problem for you.

      • 64 Step Patterns on Behringer RD-6?
Nedreud Thank you for the confirmation, David. No problem, just checking I wasn't missing something obvious. I'd assumed it would be 16-step like the original TR-606 as the interface is so simple and similar. You might like to know that the "NAMM 2020 - Introducing the Behringer RD-6" video (https://youtu.be/39Wbwt34i3Q) which is on the official Behringer product page for the RD-6 states "...64 step sequencer..." at 1:40. And although not your responsibility, I found a few large online retailers, e.g., Gear4Music, still stating 64 steps in their info.

    hello everybody,

I'm using an external small mixer to control few instruments, in a sort of submix,

which goes into inputs number 7/8, and I'm struggling to get a perfect balance between the two input channels

using the pots on the front. so, it may sound a dumb question but, is there a way to link two mono ins so to control them as a stereo one? I mean using one pot to set the level for both channels or something in that way?

any kind of advice (hardware, software, workaround ideas) would be much appreciated :)

    thanks in advance!

I have an X32 / s16 configuration going into a drive rack.  I am able to tune the room with the driverack with left and right levels working just fine - amps and speakers working as expected.  I'm running stereo out of the x32 and pulling the stereo signal out of seven and eight of the s16 returns then directly into the driverack.  I'm getting a large reduction in gain on the left side out of the s16.  the signal coming out of the x32 LR mains is even.   Any ideas?  Is there a way I'm of controlling / attenuating the returns at the s16?

Paul_Vannatto It sounds either a routing issue or an S16 mode issue. Check both the routing assignments to the S16 7/8 and the S16 mode.

KevinMaxwell We might be able to tell you what is wrong if we can take a look at your scene. You can upload it here but only in the post that you start. You can edit the first post in this thread. Copy the scene from your mixer to a thumb drive and then put the thumb drive in your computer and then go to edit your post and you will see a place to upload a file on here. it only works for the person that starts a thread and you have to do it in the post that you started a thread in.

Let us know if you need any more help in how to do this.

      DavidKnighton Hello kdfast,
Your Main L/R is probably mirrored on the back of your console. I would suggest taking the signal off the console and see if it reacts the same way or not. If it does react the same way, then maybe you need to check your routing. If it reacts normally, then it's possible one of the outputs on the S16 is defective, which would require service.

kdfast Thanks Folk - I will double check the routings and play with the Main L/R. It may be a few days before I can get back to upload the scene.
