    This might be a stupid iQ series question but I can’t seem to find the answer. Regarding the feedback eliminator feature, do I just enable it before the gig by setting it to Auto and just leaving it on Auto or is it supppsed to be enabled during sound check only to “capture” all the problem frequencies then turned off?

      GaryHiggins Pretty sure sound check only...though I've never used it with mine ever...manual is not full of details. :-)

      If you turn the Feedback Eliminator off after soundcheck, then it is no longer functioning as it's intended purpose. The idea is to leave it running so that if a problem frequency arises mid-show, then it gets squashed. It will end up resetting some filters the longer it's in battle, so keep this in mind as you "turn up" during your show. Remember, it's just one tool in your bag of tricks. Don't rely on it too heavily. Best practice is to use a front end GEQ right off your mixer before the signal hits the iQ.

    Hello,

    Just wondering if I can link 2x iQ12s & 2x iQ15B all together with PowerCon cables so I gave just one mains plug? The manual says the following: The maximum number of linked systems depends on the AC supply voltage as well as the maximum current draw of the individual systems in the power chain. When linking a power chain, make sure that the integrated connectors as well as the supplied AC mains cable are never overloaded. If you are uncertain how to calculate the total current draw, please contact your dealer.

      GaryHiggins I would say yes, but it could depend on where it’s being done. The electrical systems of different venues could be a factor. I would think most could handle it ok, my 2 cents

    Is there a way to purchase spare parts for Turbosound Speakers? I've looked everywhere online. My IQ15B Sub stopped working last night- It has super low volume and sounds very distorted. I believe the onboard amplifier has failed. Any way to order a new amp so I can repair it?

A new window will open. Scroll down and click on the Spare Parts tab and submit a ticket. Have you confirmed that your speakers are not under warranty still? If you are the first owner then you may have a 10 year warranty if purchased on or after 1st September 2014. If so, please fill out a Technical Support ticket instead of a Spares ticket and include your proof of purchase and your warranty will be checked for you.

    I've had an ip2000 v2 for a while and just picked up another one second hand but I didn't realize it was the first version. I'm having trouble connecting the two via Bluetooth. Does anyone know if v1 and v2 should be compatible and maybe it's just user error on my part?

      Nigel67 Hi JonathanRobinson. Unfortunately it is not possible to bluetooth them together. While the form factor is identical between these two models, the voicing and available features are slightly different. For example, the iP2000V2 has built-in reverb and independent EQ for every channel, where the iP2000 does not. In order to maintain balance and fidelity between systems, the unlike models will not allow pairing with each other.

    I purchased the speaker about 1 yr ago. About 2 months ago I notices when plugged in to the XLR the sound would slightly fade out for for about half a second about every 10-15 min. It never did that with bluetooth.  Note im not a proffessional so i may use it for a few hours on the weekend, never turning the volume higher than 60%. As of about 2 weeks ago ,at about 10% as soon as the first bass hit the sound goes in and out even with bluetooth. The speak is not blown it seems like a connection issue withthe sub and the tower. Note: I have the latest firmware  V1.2.2

    Acquired 2 Turbosound iQ15 speakers for sound events. At the very first event, people complained that high frequencies are very hard to hear, and there is practically no low frequencies. How can this problem be corrected?

      Your best option would be to submit a tech support ticket and a member of the team will assist you.
      Can you please confirm all other devices that are connected and how they are configured (For example crossovers, Mixers, Outboard effects ETC). We need to ideally know your full setup.

      It may also be worth doing a smaller simplified setup (so running your Mixer/Audio source direct to the speaker). Can you confirm if you still get the issue when using a simplified setup?

    Everytime we hook up and power up our subs I go into the presets and load the preset I saved that has the crossover   Menu set as user, 100.25 hz. The subs don't seem very loud but if I go into crossover menu and reselect the user setting and push the encoder to select it the subs get noticably louder. Any answers as to why?

        DavidKnighton Hello Tele68,
        Firstly, the manual is likely outdated and new firmware has changed the layout of the user interface. The preset you saved likely has some sort of setting that boosts input gain or output volume or something in that regard. I would take two subs side by side and the the preset in just one of them and then go through every menu side by side and compare each and every setting until you find the culprit.

      By the way what is the program or RMS wattage of this sub? All literature says 3000 watts but that is peak not RMS.
