Hi Guys
One of my speaker terminal poles snapped off when I was moving the speakers anyone know where I can buy a replacement? I found a couple of old 605 crossover units on ebay I could cannibalise but don't even know if they are the same size? What crossover do the NFM 8's have? It's hard to find any info on these speakers.
Thanks
Steve
I raised a Care Ticket (CAS-549273-J6G4Q5) back on 17th Feb regarding a dead Gold 7 but now over a week later and nothing.
Tannoy makes mounting systems for some of its speakers. But I do not see anything for Reveal 402's. These will be placed such that I'm concerned about them being knocked over (they'd fall about 4 feet).
Any ideas? Or is there perhaps some mounting provisiion already on the bottom of the speakers?
Hi, any idea where I can buy a replacement driver for Tannoy system1200 (driver kit 3139)? im located in Israel but worldwide shipping is defently a solution for me
I have a pair of PBM8s and blew a woofer. Any suggestions on repair/replacement?
Update: I submitted a spare parts request ticket and have a case number, but have not yet received a response.
30 Dec Update: Parts said they couldn't help. Does anyone have any leads or suggestions? These are great speakers and I'd hate to give them up.
I was left two Tannoy speakers (LSU/HF/IIILZG/8U) by my father, and would like to know who the original owner was. He may have acquired these from Abbey Road studio when they upgraded in 1973-4 (his company was a supplier of theirs), but can this be proven? They have serial numbers attached.
I play digital piano at home ( just cocktail piano- no singing). I have an excellent and very critical ear for music. I play high quality sampled or modelled pianos. My setup at home gives me the perfect sound I need into my Bose headphones. I also play organ, and need some speakers which can reproduce the organ pedal frequency ( down to about 40 hertz). I would like a pair of speakers to hear the Rotary speaker effect of the organ Leslie simulator.
Task: I want to play some occasional gigs in pubs/ coffee bars ( maybe only 6 per year). Instead of buying a set of speakers for home and a small P.A. Setup for small gig work, I am considering using Tannoy Reveal 802 Monitors for both jobs to get value for money.
The case For: Reveal 802 have 100w power each, and for background piano, I think about 30watts should be fine. So they would not be stressed at all. They have excellent reviews for good bass response without a sub, so should give a rich sound for piano lower keys or organ pedals.
So has anybody else tried this?
Re: Case CAS-466240-T5N7P2
I sent in a Tannoy Gold 8 studio monitor to be repaired since it was still under warranty. I sent the speaker into the repair center on June 29 and I received notification that it arrived on July 14. The only communication I have gotten since then was on September 13 which stated:
Your unit has been evaluated and parts have been ordered. We currently do not have the parts in stock and they have been placed on back order. I do not have an ETA at this time.
Is there a reason that a repair should take this long? Why not just send a replacement since the monitor was still under warranty?
I would appreciate some clarification and some action since having one expensive monitor sitting in my studio does me little good.
Thank You
Jeffrey

I have the Tannoy Precision 8D and the Kit Activ Assist but I'm missing the software. Where can I download it?
I need a Tannoy 1205 Reveal 6 replacement tweeter.
