Hi guys im interested in purchasing the

    Behringer 1004 SAT SERIES

My question is I see it says the sub is an active speaker however it states the other speakers are passive speakers so i am presuming they dont have inbuilt amps on board. If thet is the case do they get there power and signal from the sub or you you have to run a seperate amp to run them.

ChrisEdwards1 Hi Halvo, yes, the satellite speakers will be powered via the sub. No separate amp is required.
The quick start guide found on the product page includes a setup diagram which shows 2 different methods on how you can connect them to the sub.

Halvo Thank you for your help Chris its greatly appreciated. I am trying to plan a little system to connect to my Pioneer Dj rx dj console in my house and connect these speakers to the dj console.Would I need to come out of my Dj console with one or 2 xlr cables to the sub. Also the furthest small speaker away from the sub will be approxametly 32metres away, will that be ok. Please see attached the rear of the Dj console.

ChrisEdwards1 Hi Halvo, I would recommend having both XLR outputs on the DJ Console connected to the Sub and yes that distance should be fine, however, I would recommend this is done with one cable length and not multiple connected together.

trying to understand the 7 device limit on ultranet. Does that mean only 7 speakers for instance? I would like to setup 12 speakers on 12 different ultrnet channels all working simultaneously

Paul_Vannatto By "talk to", are you referring to changing the DSP settings using Turbosound Editor via USB, or are you wanting to send audio to the speakers? If it is the former, a USB hub will not work. You have to connect the PC directly to each of the speakers (one at a time). I find it just as easy to make any DSP changes (delays, etc.) using the speaker's interface.

If you are wanting to send audio to the iQ speakers, you need to send the audio to either the XLR-F jack (analog) or the Ultranet jack (digital).

Thank You Paul Try to talk to the speaker through Cat5 through the Network so I don't have to run USB But I will run USB wire

Paul_Vannatto The ethernet jack in the iQ speakers is Ultranet (a proprietary protocol of Music Tribe), not standard ethernet that you can use in a network.

I am in need of a replacement circuit board for a Europort PPA500bt. I no longer have the old one (a repair tech took it with the intent to order a replacement which he never did and I no longer have contact with him). I need info on how and where to order. A part# perhaps? . . .and /or?

    Hello,

Just wondering if I can link 2x iQ12s & 2x iQ15B all together with PowerCon cables so I gave just one mains plug? The manual says the following: The maximum number of linked systems depends on the AC supply voltage as well as the maximum current draw of the individual systems in the power chain. When linking a power chain, make sure that the integrated connectors as well as the supplied AC mains cable are never overloaded. If you are uncertain how to calculate the total current draw, please contact your dealer.

    Thanks in advance

    Richard

GaryHiggins I would say yes, but it could depend on where it’s being done. The electrical systems of different venues could be a factor. I would think most could handle it ok, my 2 cents
