Simple stuff from a simple man so please keep any replies to words of one syllable.
did gig on Friday using this kit which have used for a while (8 channel mixer with compatible speakers).

no problems and kit suffered no trauma.

2 days later when re set up at home for rehearsals the right hand channel was giving no output. Leads and speaker all ok. Don't think I have pressed a button by mistake to make this happen.

our band's biggest ever gig in few weeks and lots of rehearsing to do in meantime...any ideas?

lookingbfor local repair people but not easy to find.

shop where kit bought (large chain) now gone.
    thanks

Dale_M Hi there sorry to hear this, assuming you have tried swapping the good speaker on to the dead output and you have nothing muted then it sounds like a fault, if the unit is still within its 2 year warranty then please raise a Service ticket from the above tab, otherwise it would be quicker to go to https://www.behringer.com/buy.html and select a service centre to find your nearest.

Hello, I hope somebody can help me.

As donation for a small project, i got a Behringer Xenyx 1002USB Mixer, unfortunately the PSU is broken.

Wenn i try to get a replacement it spans from 22€ but no delivery date to 950€!! (no joke)

Is there a reliable source for a replacement PSU? The mixer is still in production and no vintage.

Or did somebody have the tec specs to replace it by an other PSU?

    Thanks a lot.

Nigel67 Hi DJGAL. You can select the replacement PSU from this link. There were two or 3 types of 1002USB, i,e QX, Q. Make sure you choose the correct one. https://www.behringer.com/catalog.html?brandName=behringer&catalog=Category&category=C-BEHRINGER-MIXERS-ANALOGMIXERS-POWERSUPPLIES&itemsPerPage=15&pageNumber=1&sort=salesRevenue You haven't mentioned the country in which you reside, but we advise going to the Partner for your country or Service Centre. They can be found here https://www.behringer.com/buy.html. If you still are having difficulty, please reply here and I can advise you further. 950Euros sounds a little steep to be honest, I think 22Euros may be a little more in the ball park.

Hi Nigel67, sorry for the incomplete information.
I reside in germany and I'm aware that I need the PSU3-EU, I also get in contact with the service providers for germany but they are asking about 50€ for the PSU. Also Thomann, our lagest audio equip trader can not order a replacement PSU from Behringer. I try to live as enviroment friendly as posible but with a price of 80-100€ for a new mixer this difference would send the old one in the garbage bin.

The manual states that the maximum output level at main outputs ist +21 dBu.

During my tests I could achieve barely +20 dBu at 1% THD.

I know that this is just a detail - but technical specs should be reliable.

What are the measuring conditions for max output level?

Hello, pretty simple question but I am real sound newbie. We are a very simple band. Banjo, Guitar, acoustic bass, washboard, and 4 vocal mics. All Shure sm 58 and 57's

    I have 2 Behringer EUROLIVE VP Pro 1000 Watt speakers (8 ohms) and a Behringer Europower PMX2000 (Stereo Mode 250w @ 4 ohm 180 watts at 8 ohm)  ---> more specs "passive 250-watt (program)/1000-watt (peak), 8-ohm, 2-way PA speaker"

When I plug into the the Right/Mono Main in the back and then daisy chain the 2nd speaker (using 1/4" connections) we get some random cutout. Fidding around with the volume controls can bring things back to a clear sound ... but otherwise we get intermittent crackles and poor sound.

When we run one speaker from the Right/Mono Main and the other on the Left/Monitor - things work awesome. But of course we can't use monitors ... which is acceptable.

My thoughts are we are not just not pushing enough power thru the amp to the daisey chained speakers and can't run in that configuration.

Does this sound correct or am I missing something. The various OHM's calculations are confusing me but suggest I should be able to run the above?

    Thanks!

I am totally green about audio producing. Is there any scenario under which one can to simultaneous multitrack recording with a Xenyx x1204USB mixer directly into Waveform 11 DAW?

If not is there an expansion gadget/software that could make that possible? If not, what would be the entry-level Waveform 11 compatible hardware that would allow me to do that multitrack recording?

    Thank you,

    Joe

WilliamR Hello, William from the musictribe here. The X1204USB is limited to 2 Track stereo to USB recording of the main mix to a DAW of your choosing.

Hello all, is there any way I can connect via usb input & have a separate volume from the main mix. Basically to lower the music volume without lowering mic volumes at the same time.
    Many thanks, a confused newbie!

I am interested in buying QX2442USB. Don't think it comes w/ rack ear. Any chance I can buy it as accessories? Anyone know the part number?

    Hi first time posting here

I've not long purchased a used Midas venice F24 mixer. I'm aware there is a mod that can be done in order for the direct outs to be post fader aswell as eq. I like to use the mixer as an instrument and want to record all the fader movements through the direct outputs. Does anyone have any detailed instructions or ideally pictures on how this is done from what I can tell it's a small solder job on each channel but not exactly sure. Any help would be greatly appreciated

    many thanks, Pat

    Hello,

My mini quit working after a driver update and my pc no longer recognizes the device. I updated the driver because I was getting loud pops in my headphones, then I heard and felt a loud pop from the GoXlr Mini. After the driver update application successfully installed the new driver,  the mini is no longer listed in the available sound output devices.  I created a ticket week ago and have not been responded to about this and hopefully getting a new unit shipped to me as I do feel the unit I received is defective. The case number issued to me is:

     CAS-595726-G2G3C3

I purchased the unit through Amazon a little over one month ago, but the that return window has closed. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

Thanks in advance to those who answer newbie questions!

I'm using a Q802USB mixer to connect to a B108D powered speaker.  I'm connecting through a dual-RCA (L/R) to TRS cable, with RCS to 1/4 Phono connectors on each channel to connect to the Main output on the mixer and the TRS plugged into the speaker.

I'm seeing strange results.  Sometimes it works, but sometimes I get only one channel (Left or Right).  I know it isn't anything on the input or mixer side, because it works fine if I connect the TRS-2RCA cable to the Tape Out RCA jacks.  Also, it sounds fine through the Phones output.

It's very intermittent.  I thought for a while that one of the Phone-RCA adapters was bad, but I replaced it and the problem is still (sometimes) there.

Is this the correct cable and configuration, or am I doing something way wrong?  Is there a functional difference between the Main outputs and the Tape Out outputs (line level versus something else)?

    Thanks!

Paul_Vannatto The reason you are getting weird results is that you are trying to send a stereo signal (from the Q802USB) to a mono input (in the B108D) using a TRS cable, which results in cancellation.

Thanks so much for replying. I need to understand a little better. The B108D manual specifically mentions the jack is TRS, "Use the 1/4" TRS connection for a 1/4" mixer output or other line-level signals". My assumption was that TRS was stereo by definition - 2 signals and 1 ground. Is this incorrect? Note that there is no "balance" on the B108D's mini-mixer, so maybe it really is mono.

So, how SHOULD I connect the L/R 1/4" Phono jacks from the Main of the mixer to my B108D? If the B108D is expecting Mono, then something will have to mix the channels.

Here's a link to the B108D manual, if that helps: https://mediadl.musictribe.com/media/PLM/data/docs/P0ALY/B108D_QSG_WW.pdf

Or are the 2 channels of the TRS being used as balanced mono, and the sleeve is just shield ground?

      • Apr 16
    • PaulZimmer
Paul_Vannatto TRS connectors literally means Tip, Ring, Sleeve (from the old telephony days). In this case the TRS is configured as a mono balanced input (tip = signal+, ring=signal-, sleeve=ground).
