I just recently tried to record from my M32R for the first time, but my laptop only recognized the first 8 channels, not all 32 (I have 32 in/32 out selected on the console settings). I have the most recent driver for it downloaded and installed, but I am running Windows 11, which I think is the problem. I looked in the update history doc that came with the download, and it said nothing about support for Windows 11.

I just want to make sure I'm not overlooking anything. And, if Windows 11 is the issue, does anyone know when they might release an update that supports it?

    Thanks yall

GaryHiggins I have an M32R and use Win11 without an issue but using the X-Live card, the driver version I'm using is 5.12.0. You are using the ASIO driver model correct? It needs to be that, also what firmware for the M32R?

sullyboy3 I'm pretty sure I don't have the X-Live card. I'm using DN32-USB Windows Driver off of Midas's website, version 5.12.0. The firmware may be out of date, I will check that when I get a chance.

GaryHiggins Double check that you are using the ASIO driver, the 8 ch's you report sounds a bit like another driver model.

Hi,  This might be a silly question but what are the odds that some kind of firmware update will be released to enable multi track recording in the MR12?  I like how I can record a mixed stereo file , but it'd be great if discreet tracks could be captured like the Tascam Model 12.

    Any chance or no dice?

I'm currently in the market for the M32R Live when they come back out in Oct. of this year. I see that there are M32Rs that are available, used. Whare the differences btween the both?

Nigel67 The only difference is the style of the switch caps and the expansion card in the rear. The M32R had the USB card fitted whereas the M32R-LIVE has the Live card fitted. The M32R hasn't been made in at least 3 years now I think. Apart from that, internally everything else is the same and the software is the same. The DN32-LIVE card can be purchased separately and fitted into an M32R which will make it an M32R-LIVE except for the switch caps.

Just received my M32R and it only came with rack ears and quick start manual. How do you fit the ears  to the mixer?

KevinMaxwell I have never done an M32R but usually you just need to remove the side panels and replace then with the rack ears using the same screws (unless it came with shorter ones) to put the rack ears on.
