Hi, I am new to MusicTribe. I recently signed on because our X32 Producer will not boot/ start up and I neeedd to contact tech support. I opened up support ticket and I did hear back with from tech support with some trouble shooting suggestions. When it was determined that the trouble shooting suggestions were not going to work. Tech support asked for information such as serial number, receipt etc. The X32 is out of warranty so I asked tech support to provide me with a list of authorized service centers so I could send the X32 off for repair and I never heard from tech support again. I send my request for service center list 3 times and they never got back with me. What is up with that? Just becuase a device goes out of warranty does not mean that support should just disregard my requests. I am authorized to either send this unit out for repair or buy a new mixer. I have lost confidence in Behringer and may choose to go with another companies mixer. Totally disappointing.

Great little mixer! Love it! I've run it about 3 weeks now and have a couple fairly easy feature requests:
1) When in any mix except Main, have the mixer switch itself to the Main Mix after 3-5 seconds of inactivity. Maybe have this as a switchable option in settings.
2) Make the meters wider and/or possibly add a few pixels of black around them. They're VERY hard to see on a tablet, though not bad on a phone.
Thanks!
Hi,
As I understand, the stereo inputs 5/6 -7/8 have different impedance characteristics on left (5-7, 10Kohm) and right (6-8, 1Mohm).
How can this not affect the balance between the two chanels (L-R) with a stereo source ?
Thank you
Richard
Hi, I would like to see an indicator on the hardware when the threshold is hit on the compressor, like the offset light or something.
Also, I would like to know what the parameters are set to, like attack, release, ratio ?
Thank you
Richard
Using the Behringer X18 as an audio interface - I've connected it to a computer via USB for recording in my DAW. It appears to bypass the channel strip on the X18. The preamp GAIN is the only thing that affects the audio that hits the DAW. We are using it to record a podcast with several mics. The DAW sees all the channels correctly and is, more or less, working perfectly :) But, I would like to use the compressor on each channel before it hits my DAW to reduce some of the peaks. Is that possible?
Our main FOH console is a Behringer Wing. Back at the end of March in addition to the touchscreen glitching, we had a catastrophic cascading (I believe software) failure that caused the board to malfunction spectacularly in the middle of a service rendering me with no control even after a hard power reset. We immediate pulled it from production and I opened a support ticket (CAS-575873-S7D1S7). Initially support was semi-responsive. And then fell silent. With no support phone number or live chat, all communication being limited to email, and despite many from me at this point, that remain unanswered, its been over a month now, and my Wing still sits here waiting for instructions on what to do next. The ticket shows last activity as 4/4.
I am so disappointed in Behringer, a brand I have spent 10s of thousands of dollars worth of gear and have built our entire live production workflow around, so its safe to say I have been fiercely loyal for many years. Our leadership is tired of me telling them I havent heard back yet, and are about ready to scrap everything Behringer/Midas and start over with a different Manufacturer. I really dont want to do that, but its hard to disagree with them at this point. Honestly, I dont know what else to do at this point.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Hi to all, can someone tell me how long takes to musictribe, answer a ticket for a product registration?
Thanks in advance
Is there a number I can call to speak with somebody from Berhinger instead of filling out a form? Would make my request much faster.
Hoping to get some advice.
I have my XR-18 for about 7 years. When I first got it I used it on a gig, maybe 2 gigs. But since that time I've had it here in my studio hooked up to a router and run it with Reaper. No problems, works like a charm. However I am considering going out and gigging again and I'm wondering what I'll need to do to switch back and forth from live gig to studio use. I'll probably run the XR-18 into my Samsung tablet, as I did before. I don't think I have the software on this tablet but installing it shouldn't be a problem.
I'd be really interested in some advice and feedback.
Thanks,
Don.......
Hi
Would be grafetul if anyone could assist me with this issue.
I have an X32 Compact and an S32 stage box.
We are a 7 piece band, that uses iems and so we use up 1-12 mix buses, 13 and 14 are delay and reverb and 15/16 are for the main LR out.
The X32 Compact goes to front of house with our engineer. The S32 is in a rack, which is on stage with the band.
When there are stageboxes already at venues, we usually take a left and right XLR from their stagebox and insert them into 15/16 outputs on the S32 to be able to be fed back to FOH.
However, there are occasions when we want to use the physical outputs on the X32 Compact to be our main LR out, (there is no feed from stage or there are patching issues within the venue) so we can patch to FOH directly next to it. The issue is there are only 8 physical outputs on the X32 Compact, with 7 and 8 patched as the main LR out. Is there a way to use the user routing to repatch the outputs so the physical 7 and 8 out on the back of the X32 Compact are being used as Main LR out and the s32 is using 1-14 as outputs?
Ive fiddled around in the routing menus, but tbh i feel like i keep confusing myself!
Thank you for coming back to me, Paul. I tried out what i think you explained, but i was still unable to get the main L/R to come from Outputs 7 & 8 on the X32, without losing my mix buses that are coming from the S32.
