Please somebody explain to me why there is no offline edit/demo mode on the Wing Co-pilot app. So many times I am away from my mixer but want to mess around with the app and some different functions. Please update the co-pilot app!

Is the X air 18 compatible with a galaxy tab a7?

Paul_Vannatto It should work fine. I've been using a Galaxy Tab A 8" tablet with the X-Air and X32 consoles for over 5 years now without any issue.

Paul_Vannatto Go to the Play Store and search for X-Air App. The best app is Mixing Station Pro.

I'm a big fan of the Wing-Q app, I like that it is super obvious and easy to use. My only issue, is I am about to try and explain to some older folk how to use the app, and on a normal phone, the channel names are tiny! I'm not sure anyone will be able to read it...

What I was wondering, is whether it would be possible to have the channel name text size, and fader lengths increased, as far as they can reasonably go (possibly as an optional thing) to make it easier to read which channel is which, and to accurately adjust the faders. I realise that partly it is a tradeoff for having 12 channels per layer, but I took a screen grab on my phone, and highlighted some ideas where some space could potentially be saved to maximise the available area for the channel names. Any increases in text size would be much appreciated!

    Thanks,

    Steve

john0121 Hi Tonya, sorry it's missing from the webpage for podcastudio 2. You can find the same software bundle for download on this page though:

      https://www.behringer.com/behringer/product?modelCode=P0794

Just click software on the right and there is a link for "all software for mac". Don't forget to register the product too (via support button) and you'll get a redemption code for Tracktion DAW.

Looking to purchase an iPad Air to control it.

Will the first Gen iPad air with the 12.4.9 firmware work?

    Should I purchase this iPad?

DaveMorrison 12.4.9 will work with both Mixing Station Pro and X32-Mix. X32-Mix hasn't been updated for three years and a lot of features don't work—notably routing. Mixing works fine though. Mixing Station is updated regularly and is highly recommended.

Paul_Vannatto The answer is 16, according to the "BE-P0BV2-WING-OSC_Documentation.pdf" (page 10) that is included with the latest Wing firmware update.

john0121 Sorry we can only provide through the app store and can only list the latest version. We aren't able to provide an older version for iOS5.

What type of router should I get for my X32 console? There are so many and I am having trouble picking the correct MB per second

RexBeckett It does not need to be super fast. 1200 Mbps would be enough. It should be a dual-band router and you should use the 5GHz band because it is more resistant to interference from phones and other Wifi devices. Look for one that supports 802.11ac Wifi and has multiple external antennae. It is also an advantage to have at least two LAN ports so you can connect a wired laptop if/when necessary.

DavidKnighton Hello srasi009. Any simple router will do. The feature that I would consider before purchasing is WiFi RANGE. The lower end models don't have very good range, which means that the signal will degrade faster when there's a bunch of phones/tablets in the room. Users will often have a good soundcheck, but once the room is filled with guests, the WiFi signal starts to become unreliable. Get a router that has decent range for your expected environment and keep it as close as possible to the area in which it will be used most heavily. Notable brands, Linksys, Netgear, Cisco, TP Link. Avoid using Apple products as they are finicky with these consoles.
