    Hi there,

I'm just wondering if it's possible to have multiple effects at once on the TC Helicon VOICELIVE Play GTX pedal? I want to use the hardtune effect as well as harmony effect at the same time. Is that possible?

Is the Harmony Singer 2 pedal compatible with the T1? If so, which one plugs in closer to the microphone? What other considerations are important when using these pedals together? Sorry if this is a dumb question. Just learning about this stuff. Thanks.

    Hi there,

Is there any device that does exactly what TC Helicon Voice Tone Correct XT used to do?

I was not able to buy TC Helicon Voice Tone Correct XT so I was wondering if there is any equivalent.

kiskadar69 If the anti-feedback function is not required, try this chain: vocal microphone -> TC-Helicon VoiceTone T1 -> TC-Helicon VoiceTone C1.
If the anti-feedback function is required, try this chain: vocal microphone -> TC-Helicon VoiceTone T1 -> TC-Helicon Perform-V (with Tone off).
Comment: the TC-Helicon single pedals (for example VoiceTone T1, VoiceTone C1) do in fact have 24V phantom power that is ALWAYS on. Many condenser mics can operate using phantom values from +9V to +52V, though you may find certain condensers will not function, or will not function correctly unless supplied the nominal voltage of +48V. Please note, you will not harm your mic if it does not have enough voltage to power it properly. Dynamic and ribbon microphones: if the mic has a balanced output, and is wired correctly, even if the mic is a dynamic or ribbon type, phantom will not hurt the mic. So technically as long as you're not connecting microphones with TS jacks, you should be good. For doing that you would need adapters anyways because the in and out of this pedal is exclusively XLR cannon balanced, so in short, any standard microphone should be fine with this.

    Hey guys,

My Voicelive 3 developed a problem with one of its knobs just below the screen. When I turn it, it doesn't do anything and it also doesn't click. Just rotates smoothly.

I was told the part might be called a Rotary Encoder. Could anyone clarify?

And could you let me know if this is what I should get to replace it?

I was given a Play Acoustic. is there a way to hook to a keyboard instead of a guitar?

Dale_M Hi Mike it may be possible to use it if it was set to a standard piano sound or maybe even a simulated acoustic guitar sound but in fairness it would be hard to know how it would sound unless you experiment -have fun!

kiskadar69 If you run audio from your keyboard through a Play Acoustic, IMO it'll work just fine. You'd get the best results if you only send left hand chord stuff and also have chorus/reverb off on the keyboard output.

I haven't used this in about a year. I checked the power supply. Is there a magic formula to get my unit to power on?

    Hello,

I'm using the TC Helicon Harmony Singer 2. When I play larger halls and need a monitor, I get a growling effect underneath the harmonies. A little like someone in the distance is using a garbage disposal. I am guessing that this is interference caused by the vocal harmonies bleeding into the mic from the monitors and then attempting to be re-processed by the Harmony Singer 2.

Has anyone else experienced this?  If so, how do you fix the problem without using in-ear monitors (which I dislike)?

I have a large gig coming up next week and I'm hopeful that someone has solved this issue before.

    Thanks,

    Craig Mecham

Dale_M Can you advise how you are interfacing the external FX with the VL3? At what point in the chain are they being connected?
