I have a solo act, where I try to do everything at once, using multiple instruments, and generally post stream live as well as play in front of live crowds.

I'm looking for entry level, expandable Analog to Digital XLR & 1/4" interfaces, 8 channel or greater, that isn't extremely expensive that I can also utilize through common interfaces such as OBS Studio...I'm not sure if I need an Ableton or another type of software, but wanted to get started with some recommendations.

(I have a 6 channel USB mixer that currently serves me well, to pick up the pro audio and send it over to OBS.

I have sent my VOICELIVE 3 EXTREME device to Thermal Relief Design for repairment at the beginning of March (2022) after music tribe sent me the instruction and case number for repairment. But now, the repairment has not been done. I sent couple of email to TRD, they replied that they are waiting for the part. Anyone has experienced the similar issue? What is the solution for me? Wait? I have already waited for almost 3 months.

liao0ciya Hi PederoRodrigues. It is FOUR months. The repairment is still not done. TRD team advices me to reach out to Music Tribe to file a complaint since they have no access to the manufacture part systems. Where do I file a complaint? Is this post already a complaint?

So, I'm using two computers, one monitor, switching back and forth. One for regular use, one strictly for music production... but I don't want to use two sets of speakers, so I still want my interface to act as audio for both computers. I've tried simply splitting the USB with a Y cable, USB B to two USB A, but only one computer recognizes the interface (and I don't seem to be able to choose which computer, but as it happens it's the correct one for music production). Is there a way to do this?

      NicJonesMT Hi Tindog13.
You could try running the UMC into a powered USB hub, and then run this into a USB splitter. I currently do this to have devices like speakers, keyboard and mouse to swap between my Work and Gaming PC.
One thing to note, We do not normally recommend connecting to a USB hub, as these can cause connectivity issues.

The only other option would be to unplug your UMC and connect it directly to a different PC.

tindog13 Yeah, I was thinking that might be something to try. Think I'll ask around if someone has one to borrow to try first. Thanks.

As an update, the powered hub did not solve the problem. With the splitter cable at least one computer was recognized, but with the powered hub neither computer is recognized. So unless anyone has any other suggestions I guess I have to have a separate set of speakers for the non-production computer, powered by its internal sound card.

On 5/07/2022 I started a ticket for service on a waranteed GoXLR. It's been almost 2 weeks now and I have received no response from Customer Support, and have had follow-up emails ignored. I even opened a new ticket because I would told to if I had any further inquiries, and that ticket was cancelled soon after, with no notification or response from the cutomer support team. I had to check my tickets manually to find this out.

It seems customer service DOES exist, and is actively ignoring and cancelling requests. Frankly this behaviour is unacceptable for a product of this price. I need my product repaired ASAP as I need to use it in day-to-day activity.

Has anyone else had any results getting in touch with customer service?

I'm new here and not sure if this is the right page. Behringer support sent me here to find parts.

looking for a pair of rack ears for Behringer FCA 1616

Nigel67 Hi Audiolunatic. I think that support meant to send you to filling out a spares ticket which can be done by clicking on the support tab at the top of the page. A new window will open. Scroll down and click on the Spare Parts tab and submit a ticket. The FCA1616 is a legacy product, so unfortunately there may not be any left in stock to purchase. I would also try posting on the Behringer FB site to see if anyone on there has a pair for sale or may know a company that can make rack ears. You could try this company and see if they have ever made any for the FCA1616 Hope this helps

I have just bought the Behringer U-PHORIA UMC22 Audio Interface as it is a decent price yet is stated on Behringers own website as having low Latencey. After following all instruction including those of videos on Youtube I cannot get Latency below 1000ms. I'm sure its not my computer as its is a gaming computer with a really fast processor so I can only come to the conclusion the UMC22 is just not up to the job?

PedroRodrigues Hi Wishbonemusic1,thank you for your post, to evaluate any latency values, you will need to have in to consideration if you are using a Mac or a Windows computer because on Windows computer you will have the drivers transporting the audio from the sound card to the CPU of the computer and them from the CPU of the computer to the sound card again and from there to the speakers.
In a case of a Mac is different because Mac uses core audio device.

We also need to consider when addressing latency, the following:
      The computer CPU speed.
      Audio interface quality.
      The type of connection. USB/FIREWIRE.
      The compatibility driver/operating system/ DAW.
The amount of buffering selected on the DAW, measured in samples.

Increasing the buffering size gives the computer more time to respond to the audio, per example when you are using plug ins, this is very important but also slows the response of the all system.

All these points can be addressed to decrease latency issues, but this scenario will also create less stability for your system.

      Latency can be proportional to:

The number of audio channels used
      Number of Plugins used
      Sample Rate
      Bit Depth
      Amount of Memory
      Processing Power

I would suggest to checking on the preferences on the DAW what Buffer size are you using and I would suggest using a Buffer size between 256 and 512 samples.

I hope this clarifies this matter

      Thank you

I tried to use my behringer uphoria umc202hd with an AKG D5 microphone. when I try to record, i hear a background noise (not something that the microphone recorded, more of a ticking sound and white noise). I tried two different recording programs and the noise appears in both of them.

I have the latest drivers, and the audio interface, mic and cables were not used.

my computer is a bit old, but doesn't make problems with other stuff.

does anyone know what might be the problem?

    thank you:)

Dale_M Hi there it may be best to try on a newer model computer just to rule this out, if you are still having issues please raise a Technical ticket from Support tab above.
