We have an X32 at my church that we use for in-house sound. It has a Dante card in it which we use to feed (through the network) a ProTools DAW in a separate room for our live stream feed. I would like to know if there would be a way to network a second X32 (in place of the DAW) so that the person doing the sound for live streaming would have the same environment as the person doing the in-house sound.

GaryHiggins It would work just fine IF the second X32 also had a Dante Card installed. One simple managed network switch. Should not have to replace anything (still use Pro Tools) once set up properly.

    Hey all!

I have a x32 and have been running it to logic to get a full mix for livestream sound. I just purchased an s32 this week and when I route it all to the board it works great but none of my signals are being sent to logic. Is there a setting I don't know about or is this a limitation of the s32?

I am in need of two quality stereo AES meters.

Does this product enable 3 AES ie 6 chanels of audio to be metered simultaneously (not 5.1) or do I need to switch the AES input to monitor 2 channels at a time?

    thanks

I've bought a new UCA222 USB Audio Interface to connect the PA system (with Mixer Line-Out) to the computer (USB Line-In) for the purpose of public event.   The audio cables are connected following exactly the application diagram provided in the user manual of UCA222 (page 8).

Now, due to the need to give a video music presentation (pre-recorded by the computer) during the public event, I intend to use an additional audio cable to connect the audio output of the computer to the audio input of the Mixer, so that all who are present in the public event could hear the music presentation clearly from the PA system.  At the same time, the video will be shown by the computer through the projector for all to watch.  The whole event will be also shown online through ZOOM by the same computer.

However, would this additional audio cable connection (as shown in red in the diagram attached) cause the feedback or a loopback problem?

If it does, how do I resolve this feedback problem?

Thank you for your kind help.

      NicJonesMT Hi CalebYeo.
It is all dependent on what Mixer you are using.
You would want to remove the output of your UCA from the signal being sent back to the UCA.
So for example you could send all of the audio that you need for the UCA222 out of a Mixbus, then have the return from the UCA muted to this bus.

If you could confirm what mixer you are using I can then advise you futher.

      • UCA222 to Computer to Mixer to UCA222 causing feedback & loopback problem
CalebYeo Hi NicJonesMT, or any kind person in the Musictribe community, I need your kind help to resolve the loopback problem. The Mixer I'm using is Martin Roland MT80. As shown in attached file, there is a "Phone" output with knob control for SEND / REPEAT / DELAY / Phone Level, which I supposed is a AUX SEND audio output (analog). However, I can't find AUX RETURN input (analog) on the Mixer. I need to connect the Mixer output to the Computer via UCA222, and then connect the Computer audio output back to the Mixer input. I wonder if I could connect the Mixer Phone analog output (SEND) to UCA222, then connect UCA222 (USB digital output) to Computer, finally connect Computer's analog audio output (line-out 3.5mm port) back to the Mixer Line-In input? If not, how to avoid audio loopback problem? Thanks

CalebYeo Thanks NicJonesMT for your response. I've tried to show you my intended setup configuration in a diagram (attached here) and the info of the Mixer etc, so that you could identify any mistake and to help me to configure a correct setup to avoid the feedback problem. Thanks

    Hi!

Is there a way for me to change the bitrate from 48000 down to 44100 for my GoXLRMini ? If I open the GoXLRapplication this setting is greyed and not editable. I will using the mixer to stream audio and I hoped to get a chain with my stuff using the same bitrate all the way.
I am not sure here but a friend told me using 44100 would be the best (because we are broadcasting to the server using that bitrate:)

Cant understand how to Edit this. Any suggestions are appreciated.

PedroRodrigues Hi jschenell, thank you for your post, regarding your question, please consider that is not possible to change the Sample Rate on the GOXLR or GOXLR MINI as both units have a fixed Sample Rate @48Khz. Thank you

I have an online radio and I use a Xenyx FX1002 mixer with a small UCA202 audio interface (it has +12 years of use).

I don't use the interface to record, the function it fulfills is the normal one (ADC-DAC).

I want to buy another for the same purpose, which one do you recommend?

I have filled in all of the required information on the care ticket regarding my GoXlr and it won't submit. The message that appears underneath the submit button is, "Please Fill Required Field"

Please see attached zip file for screenshots.

    Hello

I want to use The GoXLR as a unit to get my mic in, but how do I connect this to my audio interface (used for Ableton) (interface = Steinberg UR28M but could be another one).

    Greetings

    Alex

WilliamR Hello Alex, William from musictribe here. The Goxlr is an interface itself and will not work as a standalone mixer. It needs to run with the goxlr app to route the signal properly. You can use the go xlr itself to record into your DAW. You need to set up the routing properly within the go XLR app to record in your DAW. If you require specific details on how to do this, feel free to click on the support link above and create a tech support ticket, and one of our specialists can get in touch with you.

alexbreugelmans So if I properly understand, I connect the GOXLR like a synth etcetera thru USB to my PC, and in Ableton choose the right input for each track?
