The Behringer QX mixers are equipped with a multi fx processor made by Klark Teknik.

I would love to see a standalone device using this processor. Maybe a small one similar to the TC M100 or even in a 19" housing with, lets say,  two or four of that processors and the possibility to tweak more parameters for each effect, a tap tempo button, and so on. Something may be similar to the MX400 made by Lexicon but with all that phenomenal suberb effects of the Klark Teknik processors.

I would buy both, the small one and the larger one, even if I own a M32, a X32, a WING (among others) and some vintage effects made by some well known manufacturers.
the components are already available,so put it in a box and ship it.

    kind Regards

Im having huge problems running Lake Controller version 7.0.6 on the system described below (Windows 10, 21H1).
Sometimes it can run for hours and hours, and sometimes i crashes within an hour.

Have now tried so many diffrent soulutions when it comes to setting and drivers for varius components in the computer.

I have two identical computers with the exact same specs./hardware but the problem is the same on both systems, Lake Controller crashes on me.

So now i ran out of ideas how to move forward, pleas advice.

Hi, I hope that someone can assist me. I have reccently purchased the TC Electronic Icon Series of effects (TC-2290, TC-1210 AND THE DVR-250 and I am unable to authorise the units. I have registered all three and installed the software. I am using Ableton Live 9 Suite. PS can I also run these with Reason 10?

    Look forward to your response.

PedroRodrigues Hi NickH7203 if you have acquired the units with the controller software included, you must install on the computer where you use these units the PACE ILOK LICENSE MANAGER and set up an account for yourself. You will not need to register your units on the PACE ILOK LICENSE MANAGER but the present of the PACE ILOK LICENSE MANAGER will allow your software to be validated so you can sue the software control on any DAW.

Hi. Anyone know how to get TC spares. I've tried here but no response from the dealers/distributors here. It's the reverb selection knob on an M300

    Cheers.  Paul

I have used the EHX Iron Lung Vocoder in the past as a 'talkbox' kind of effect with my Kemper Profiler.
I put the EHX in the effects loop of the Kemper and then just engage the effects loop when I want to use the harmonizer.

I'm now trying to switch to the TC Talkbox Synth and hook it up the same way; but it appears that only the un-affected signal passes thru the 1/4" output and using the XLR output into the return of the Kemper doesn't work.

Is there no way to set it up in this manner?
It has to send the effected signal to the XLR output into a PA only?

    • JimRodgers
WilliamR Hello Jim, The talkbox synth effect is designed to only come out of the xlr out of the pedal and guitar thru of the 1/4 inch. There really isn't a convenient way to seamlessly integrate it in the effects loop of your kemper the way you are describing.

I have a KT-2A which I use for recording and compression of bass guitar or electric guitar, and for singing ofcourse. The way I do this is:

    - for the bass and guitar via a mic in front of the cabinet, and singing via a voice mic

    - input that into a voice preamp, in this case a Tascam TA-1VP

    - output that to the KT-2A

and in that case the KT-2A works fine, the meter responds as an indication that the signal is processed.

HOWEVER, what I also want is to add the KT-2A to the effects loop of my guitar amp, and this is what does not work:

    - send the preamp signal of my guitar amp (Marshall JVM or Fender tube amp) to a DI box input

    - connect the XLR output of the passive DI box to the microphone input of the TACAM TA-1VP

    - output that to the KT-2A and connect the KT-2A output to the return of the effects loop of the guitar amp

In that case the meter of the KT-2A does not respond no matter how I set the peak reduction knob: the meter stays on zero.

I suspect the output of the SEND of the guitar amp is too different from the microphone output, even it I have a DI box in between. So how can I get the KT-2A to work in an effects loop of a guitar amp?

DaveMorrison Does it work when you directly connect the amp's preamp out to the KT-2A's input? This would be the normal connection method. The pre amp level may be to low to drive the KT-2A since there is no input level control. Maybe a -10 to +4 level box will be needed to bring the instrument level up to the "pro" level that the compressor expects. Or use a compressor that has input gain. The original LA-2A was designed for radio stations which have consistent broadcast levels.

On the XO24 how do you delete a user preset, I've been tweaking my presets and have a few "test" presets i saved while setting things up, now I want to delete the ones I don't need and there doesn't seem to be a way to do it, I've looked in the manual, but nothing.

I just want to delete 2 presets, not ALL the user presets.

WilliamR Hello, WIlliam from Musictribe here. As this is an older unit, I do not have one to test myself. I would suggest calling up a blank user preset, and storing it over the preset you want to erase.
      1 Press STORE
2 If the currently recalled preset is a User
preset the same user location is suggested.
      - If the currently recalled preset is a factory
preset, the first free user location is
      - If you wish to store the preset at a different
location - select the desired user location
      using the ADJUST encoder.
      3 Press ENTER.
      4 Now you may;
      - either press ENTER again to confirm and
      end the store operation
      - or dial in a preset name of your choice
using the CURSOR keys and ADJUST
      encoder and then press ENTER.
5 The display indicates “Preset Stored” for a
      successful store operation.

Ich betreibe den 3D FX2000 speziell für die Elektro-Gitarre.

Ich möchte nun die Effekte I.074 Crunch und I.075 Blues zusätzlich mit den Effekten Reverb und Delay versehen.

    Wie muss ich dazu vorgehen?

    • antares20
PedroRodrigues Hi antares20 please consider that the FX2000’s MIDI editing options are shown on seven pages. Enter SETUP mode.
With the help of the 1st EDIT CONTROL, you can select seven different MIDI functions. Data input is always carried out with the JOG WHEEL. the following pages can be selected:
OMNI: The second page gives access to omni mode. In this case, the unit receives MIDI data on all 16 MIDI channels. “ON” appears in the display. With the Jog Wheel, select “OFF” to deactivate omni mode.
DR.EN: In this mode, the FX2000 can receive SysEx data from another MIDI device. To load this data, turn the JOG WHEEL slightly so that the display blinks. Start your sequencer, and all of your settings, including preset parameter settings, are received by your VIRTUALIZER 3D.
Data transfer is interrupted by turning the JOG WHEEL slightly so that “----” appears in the display. ◊ During a SysEx data transfer, all audio functions of the VIRTUALIZER 3D are inactive.
To store all presets outside the VIRTUALIZER 3D, you can use a special form of MIDI communication called system exclusive data (SysEx).
With SysEx, the VIRTUALIZER 3D sends information about its manufacturer, unit type, and all parameter settings for all presets to a sequencer or MIDI file recorder.
To activate this very practical function, press the SETUP key in SETUP mode. Turn the 1st EDIT CONTROL to select “DUMP”.
Your VIRTUALIZER 3D is now ready to transfer your system exclusive data. Select a track on your MIDI sequencer, get ready for recording, start the recording and turn the JOG WHEEL.
The data transfer is indicated by a “GO” in the display.
To load the data back into the FX2000, select “DR.EN” in SETUP mode .
Turn the JOG WHEEL until “DR.EN” blinks.
Now, start your MIDI sequencer and the preset data is automatically transferred to the FX2000.
In this mode, information sent from the MIDI sequencer is automatically stored while receiving, without asking for confirmation.
For more detailed information on this matter please follow the link below to access the unit’s guide

      I hope this helps

      Thank you
