    Hi.

I have recently picked up a pair of used reveal 8D monitors, but I can't get any sound out of them whatsoever. Both units are getting power (red LED at the rear and green LED at the front). However, absolutely nothing comes out of either speaker. Even if I disconnect the Jack from the rear there is no crackling ar anything. I am using audio inputs (1/4" jacks), and I have the slide switch set to audio (as opposed to digital). Am I being comletely dumb and failing to do something, or do these units have known faults?

    Thanks in advance.

After reading the Lake Controller Software Version release notes V5.8 should be the last revision which should work with this device.

However: After installing this Version of the lake controller under Windows 10 on an Apple machine running bootcamp, I've troubles getting the software to work properly.

The software freezes immediately when it has loaded the home screen.

I tried various things linke compatibility mode WIN XP, WIN 7,... also running as administrator didn't help

I would appriciate if someone could help me out.

    Hello,

I've been using the Plethora X5 for 3 months now and I'm still stuck with this issue:

I would like to set the tempos of my delays and tremolos pedals in bpm with an option other than the tap tempo.

In fact when I configure the effect for "bpm tap tempo", the manual method remains in ms.

For example I try to set a tempo of 236. This is quite difficult/hasard with the foot (or the thumb). And when I use the manual method (via the menu with the right formula bpm --> ms) I'm not able to get the exact value I need (when I roll the pot it does not stop on the desired value - too far or too low-).

Do you have any good practices to share with me ? :-)

    Thanks in advance!

    Regards,
    Blaise

I've recently acquired a second hand TC Flashback X4, and I did in fact read the product manual before posting.

My issue is when using the looper function. Many times, but not always, I find that before the recorded loop begins again, there is a silent pause of maybe 250ms (I would have used the word "delay" but didn't want to confuse in this conext as I am not talking about the delay features at all).

My instinct was to update the firmware, but I don't have a USB Mini-B cable and local stores don't stock those anymore so I'm waiting on an Amazon delivery. In the meantime, I'm wondering if this could be user error.

    Any clues?

    Thanks.

I couldn't find this in the manual, but is it ok to kill power on the Clarity M meter from a power strip rather than powering down the unit from the menu?

I'm using a Furman power conditioner for sequenced on/off switching for everything.

I would like to know if there is a maximum input level on the Monitor2USB. I recently purchased a new DAC with XLR outputs. Those outputs are 4.3Vrms each. Since installing it I notice the volume pot on the monitor controller is noise when changing volume. This is perhaps expected on a controller with a simple trim pot but not one with VCA's. If I cut the volume output of the DAC in Windows by 50% the problem goes away. Normally, I would consider that problem solved, but that DAC also runs a headphone amp which is too quiet with the volume of the DAC at 50%. I consulted the manual and there are no statistics for input level.

Getting into my new Plethora, starting to understand how it does what it does.  I've got it doing about 90% of what I'm loking for.  I'm hoping to duplicate the TC Fluorescent Pedal (HINT HINT), but also realize I could "fake" it if there were internal routing control within Plethora: so only the affected signal of some pedal could feed another effect down the pedal chain... For example: only the affected signal of the BrainWave being fed into the a Reverb+Chorus leaving the dry signal of the BrainWave unaffected by the Reverb+Chorus, but both signals summed at output. (again... HINT HINT).  Maybe there's a way to sacrifice L/R panning to accomodate this funtionality?

Looking forward to the new 1.2 Firmware update, and hoping that a 1.3 might include something akin to my suggestions above.
