Need to download manual for TC Helicon Harmony 2. Also I note it is design for guitar input. How about a digital piano?

Can it handle that or not reccomended?

      kiskadar69 1. TC-Helicon Harmony Singer 2 Quick Start Guide:
      https://mediadl.musictribe.com/media/PLM/data/docs/P0DDV/HARMONY-SINGER-2_QSG_WW.pdf

      2. "How about a digital piano? Can it handle that or not recommended?": if you run audio from your keyboard through a Harmony Singer, it'll work just fine. You'd get the best results if you only send left hand chord stuff and also have chorus/reverb off on the keyboard output.
For a digital piano, a TC-Helicon harmonizer with a MIDI In would be better.

Is it possible to have the harmonies key off of what I am playing on the piano?  When I plug the piano into the Aux-In and go into Setup, I have Roomsense set to "Ambient/Auto", it tells me to "Unplug Aux".  What am I doing wrong?

Will the VL3X detect the harmony key from a loaded backing track? If so, what setting does the harmony setting need to be on (i.e natural play, scale, etc.)?

I really like the GOXLR mini, after trying loads of different pre amps and gates / channel strips for my mic its just about the only thing i found which works for a really great price! however, my set up for it is complex and due to the way its set up i cant use it to its full capacity (for some background i stream on twitch via obs studio), my input chain is as follows: shure s7mb > go xlr mini > pc

this works and is great as an input, my issue stems from output which i personally have two issues with,

    1. i like to keep my own listening volume sepparate from stream volume, with the goxlr this currently isnt possible as far as im aware, if i were to use all the faders and output to stream mix, if i decreased the volume on a single fader, i have no way to compensate for that in obs, this could be fixed by optionally outputting the channels sepparatly as well as a combined "stream mix" , so currently i am only using a single fader to output music only to stream mix, so if the volume is too low for stream, i can increase it in obs without affecting my listening volume.

    2. i use a external dac and headphone amp which makes routing output from the goxlr a bit of a pain, currently with the single fader im using, with voicemeter i take the streammix input and output it to my dac > headphone amp > headphones which isnt a great chain, i'd really love to see a feature either in a new go xlr to have lossless clean usb output, or have a software update to output to a specific device or again having seppareted channel outputs would allow me to fully use the faders to control my own volume sepparate from obs' output

other than those personal problems, i really love the goxlr! i think its a fantastic product and in more simple setups works really really well

    Hi there,

    I just bought a VoiceLive 3.

I've edited the presets to how I want them. I've changed 'Harmony' to 'Hit' 'on'. But the harmony just stays on all the time. I can't turn it on or off with the 'Hit' button. This is the main reason I bought the pedal, please help!

      NicJonesMT Hi ThomasJaunism.
Can you please submit a technical support ticket and provide some photos/a short video that shows exactly how you are settings up the VL3 and how it is behaving?
We wil then be able to advise you further.

I bought a TC Helicon Harmony G-XT a few months ago.  During my last recording sessions it worked fine.  After writing new songs to record I hooked up the rig and now signal from the microhone to the mixer.  I thought it might be the guitar needed to be hooked up to activate the mic.  The guitar plays through to the mixer, but still no mic.

Is there some setting that I am missing that is keeping the mic from working?  Does the mic input just stop working?  I have replaced both XLR cables with new ones and still no signal to the mixer.  What am I missing?

      NicJonesMT Hi BHShooter1.
Sorry to hear you are having issues.
I think the best option would be to submit a tech support ticket and a member of the team will be able to advise you further.
If you could provide the following information in your Ticket it would help to Speed things along.

      • Can you please detail any other devices that are being used in conjunction and exactly how these are connected to your device? This includes Microphones, Mixers, Computers ETC.
      • Can you please detail how parameters on the device are set?
      • What firmware are you using and have you tried reflashing?
      • Have you tested the device using an alternative audio source?
      • Do you have access to alternative cables?
      • Have you tested the device with an alternative power source?
      • Can you confirm the specifications of the power cable you are using?
      • Are any LED’s or lights on the device lit up or behaving erratically?
      • Do you have a similar device that you can compare the behaviours of?
      • Can you please provide me with a detailed description of how the device is behaving and any other trouble shooting steps that you have undertaken?
      • Is the Issue Intermittent or constant? If it is intermittent is there a specific setting that needs to be used to cause the issue?

I desperately need to turn global key off. I have cycled through the setup menu without finding it. My first day with this unit, all presets are locked on C major. Help!

    Hi TC Helicon Community,

I've hit a block so I'm coming here to seek some help. Has anyone ever had any issues with the vocoder on Perform VE and setting the "middle C" or octave of the MIDI keyboard you're using?

I'll give a little background... I LOVE this pedal. I've been using it since 2018 and the one I have I bought towards the end of 2019 after my other one broke. I'm very familiar with it, and have successfully ran harmonies using the vocoder before this problem started. Only recently have I had the issue (with different keyboards AND different MIDI cables) that it seems to be picking up only low octave keys from the keyboard. At first I thought it was the type of keyboard I was trying sending multiple MIDI information so I went back to my simple keyboard that has always worked with it and the problem is persisting.

    - I have used VoiceSupport2 to update the firmware to version 2.0 build 76

    - I have tried holding the "set" button and pressing other keys to try to get it to change octaves - it won't

    - I have tried on mono/poly, all the vocoder settings, and using the sampler to play notes and still, all I'm getting is low low MIDI keys being triggered (not what I'm playing)

I love this pedal so much and don't want to replace it but this issue has really been a thorn in the flow of creating/performing so if anyone has any guidance I would really appreciate it!

(Some extra words to help with keyword search): perform-ve, octave settings, vocoder, MIDI keyboard, set button, MIDI problem, MIDI issue, MIDI patch, morph button.

    Thank you!

I am so [email protected]#$ pissed off at this thing right now. I've read the manual in excrutiating detail and CAN NOT record over a previsouly recorded sequence. I have tried everything I can think of. Hit the RECORD button, let it RECORD over the SEQUENCE, hit the STOP button. I go to track view and make sure all the SEQ marks are missing. I"ve tried saving it and not saving but no matter each time I end the recording/Sequence/Backtrack. Then I switch to a new track and right back to the one I was working on and there are the same old SEQ marks that I just saw were deleted when I recorded over them. And can anyome tell me what a category TC-Helicon claims a VL3X is? What a STUPID way of referencing. Why don't they just have VL3X in the product category. Sorry, I'm just really PO right now. Any help would be appreciated.
