I noticed when my Deepmind 6 when I play middle C on the keyboard plays an Octave below. I have to set it to 1 for it to play middle C.

Does anyone know whats going on? Cheers

I've been trying to slave, or sync my MS-1 to my Elektron Machinedrum SPS-UW+. No luck at all so far...

Folks at Sweetwater (where I bought it) over the phone were very helpful, but in the end, decided to refer me to Behringer. Any ideas?

On the original Mono/Poly, inputting a trigger to the arpeggiator sync socket would advance the arpeggiator one step at a time.
If you pair this with a gate sequencer like the Korg SQ-1, this would allow you to make irregular arpeggiator patters (with rests).

However, the Behinger Monopoly does not appear to work this way - inputting irregular sequences of triggers to the arpeggiator sync socket causes the arpeggiator to miss notes randomly.

    Is this a known issue?

If so, can anybody suggest a fix?

A track created using the model D and Crave, both using Valhalla Supermassive Reverb in Ableton Live

Hi, I am trying to record midi data into an MPC via the OUT/THRU on the TD-3. I am using the MPC to start/stop the sync on the TD-3. For some reason no MIDI data is being sent from the TD-3. What am I missing here? I dont see any way to switch between the MIDI THRU/OUT. I cannot find anything in the manual or online.

      DavidKnighton Hello transmission18,
My recommendation here would be to check the Synthtribe tool and see if there is an option to switch the MIDI OUT/THRU function. I would think that MIDI OUT would push MIDI data from the TD-3 itself, while MIDI THRU would pass MIDI data from the MIDI IN port. Unfortunately, I don't own a TD-3 to test this myself, but it should be an easy task. Can you let me know if this helps to resolve please?

Does anyone know how the Deepmind 6 presets are organized? I'm having trouble seeing a pattern and I get lost scrolling to look for something close to what I need.

RonaldFigura There are categories. Check the manual. There is a way to select a category and remain in that category while scrolling through patches. It would be nice if Behringer supplied a Viice Name List for the factory presets.

Also here I insert the same message from the "Odyssey" section hoping that someone can reply. Only sound, regardless of the context of use.

I know the Odyssey (the old ARP) directly but not the 2600 (only concerts and records). Is the Odyssey "contained" in the 2600 or are they still two different machines, even with sounds from the same family?

In other words, does it make sense to have both?

    Many thanks, Giovanni, Italia.

      DavidKnighton Hello giosanta,
Some things to consider. Less features on the Odyssey, however the Odyssey does have some extra features that the 2600 doesn't have like osc sync, dedicated lfo and hpf. 2600 is patchable, has a preamp, spring reverb, extra oscillator, lag processors. Odyssey doesn't have those features. Also the Odyssey comes with a built in keyboard and sequencer, where the 2600 does not. You can see they are very different machines, so you may want to consider what else you need when you make your purchase. For example, if you don't have an external keyboard or sequencer, you'll need to buy one along with the 2600. This makes the Odyssey a good choice for newcomers, and especially a cost effective purchase for those on a budget, because the keyboard control is built in, and you don't need to worry about external controllers.

The switch to turn Oscillator.2 on/off on my model D broke off last night. What is the solution for fixing this?

      DavidKnighton Hello Jarrod,
If the product is under warranty, you can click the SUPPORT tab at the top of the page, then scroll down and click the SERVICE tile to start a claim. If it's not under warranty, click the SERVICE option anyways and you'll be advises where to send for repair. If you're savvy with soldering iron, you could probably replace the switch yourself, however that would void any warranty you have.
