“My current role is to deliver various applications and to make sure they are on time and of high quality. Reaching a milestone is always an exciting and great learning experience for me and the entire team.

Additionally, planning and setting up the whole process, DevOps, CI-CD and application engineering designs are the most exciting part of my job.

We are agile, customer-focused and adaptable. It's truly inspiring how great we are able to work together whether its with our day-to-day activities or when we deliver multiple releases.”

The RPS Children’s Fund, Music Tribe and Behringer all believe that a child can build confidence and self-esteem through music. Children and families of Vietnam receive learning opportunities and support through the Fund's music mentorship programs.

We are happy to be part of Uli's vision to make music accessible to everyone. By donating synths, Music Tribe and Behringer are empowering children from the Fund to develop their love for music and share their stories.

"I am a Research Data Leader and I've always been thrilled to produce market and data insights that enable the Tribe to do better strategic planning.

Every new day is fantastic in Music Tribe! :) I have recently become vegan and part of the inspiration came from a fellow Triber. I am happy to put an effort to minimize my environmental impact on the earth.

What I like most about Music Tribe is the agility and immediate response to the changes in the market. My team has a variety of work as well as the rest of the beautiful Tribers across the world. Thankful to my local team here in Penang." :)

Customer Obsession continues to be our driving mantra throughout everything we do. It’s amazing how we can always find our Tribers demonstrating this through Teamwork, Respect, Integrity, Bold and Engage.

To reflect the current evolution of our Music Tribe Values into friendlier and accessible principles that we can easily apply to our lives, we’ll be featuring more stories related to Be Kind, Be Clear, Collaborate, Deliver to Promise and Celebrate in the subsequent editions of Music Tribe Beats.

    Teamwork
“It really does take a whole village and it would be nowhere near the success it has been without everyone pulling together to ensure it’s as streamlined and stress-free as possible.”

Our team has a unique process when it comes to creating new mics. Before a mic goes into production, we organize blind listening tests in which it is recorded alongside four or five of its potential competitors from other leading brands. Recordings are made from a variety of sound sources and separate tracks are produced and level-matched, ready to be rated by our “ears,” the Aston 33 panel of top producers, engineers and artists.

The team has been working on the latest listening tests for a mic that (although I can’t reveal what it is) you may see sooner than you think! They have been working in the studio with Present Day Productions to make sure we get the best possible sounding mic before it goes into production. It takes a lot of moving parts to organize these listening tests and thanks to Richard Powell, Trevor Szynk, Nick Sharples, Daniel Formoso, Present Day Productions and our wonderful artists that come in and record for us, these tests have gone without a hitch (almost). From organizing days in the studio, to making sure the prototypes (and the artists) arrive in one piece, it really does take a whole village and it would be nowhere near the success it has been without everyone pulling together to ensure it’s as streamlined and stress-free as possible.

Only when the Aston is voted the best performer, after a few modifications to the prototype, does the mic get signed-off for production. Taking this route from concept to reality means ours is always the best sounding mic of the bunch!

It shows our commitment to creating the best possible products for them and shows how much time and thought goes into making sure that their microphones are not only affordable, but also sound amazing too.

    Respect
“His strong engagement, skill and commitment lead him to become an example to all Tribers by being kind and respectful to everyone.”

The Availability Engineering dept. is the center of manufactory excellence and plays the critical role as the manufacturing solution and service provider in the factory. Music Tribe advocates for the best practices and the continuous improvement to exceed both internal and external customer expectations.

Peter Niu always treats all colleagues with respect and tackles challenges in a professional way. His strong engagement, skill and commitment lead him to become an example to all Tribers by being kind and respectful to everyone. This creates a positive work culture for the team that allows them to accomplish goals together. We are deeply grateful for his significant contribution to help the team achieve a USD 42.6M record high production output in August. Furthermore, Peter is a great listener and is able to stay calm in all situations which reduces potential conflicts and keeps things moving forward. These collaborative experiences have demonstrated a willingness by his colleagues to involve themselves in cross-department cooperation which contributes to the best solutions and results for our Customers.

    Integrity

“He displayed admirable leadership qualities… and always had our backs even when he is busy.”

I am one of five newbies on-boarded at the beginning of this year at the height of many new changes taking place in MT and new systems being implemented. We were trained by Leah and Daniel Silva mainly, the latest additions to the Customer Quality Service Specialist team. Danny, as we fondly call him, also took the lead in helping us when our Team leader left MT during this time before turning the responsibility over to Bryan Maguire.

Danny guided us into the Tribe and the work culture. He displayed admirable leadership qualities in the 9 months I have known him. He answered many cases that we newbies just couldn't answer and always had our backs even when he is busy. We had a customer who was ordering a part that had an old part number and Danny searched for a new compatible part which we ordered for the customer that same day. The customer was so happy that we managed to get the part, they emailed us a big thank you.

I’m so proud to be working with someone who has such integrity and willingness to help. In addition, I would like to also commend our background Tribe Superheroes in my book - Jeff Ford, Leah De Los Reyes, Christopher Warner, Andrew Hunt, Edgardo Reyes, Matt Smith, Karl Bicknell, Huaxing Cai, Christy Ye, and Chris Yap.

This shows, that if we can go beyond what is expected of us or complete a task/project before the due date while being able to produce an accurate result in a shorter period our customers will believe and trust our service.

    Bold

“He likes to challenge himself and is willing to fulfill his task to provide satisfaction to our customers.”

Undoubtedly, change can make many people uncomfortable, and it can cause anxiety and distractions in the workplace. But Zulhilmy is a guy who accepts change in a positive way.

He likes to challenge himself and is willing to fulfill his task to provide satisfaction to our customers while caring for each of us like we are family. He makes decisions quickly and constantly seeks to improve himself.

Boldness seems to have a dramatic, positive impact on overall perceived effectiveness. Being bold is fascinating and rare so people are always going to be interested in what we have to say. Being bold is a huge part of building our brand and marketing ourselves. Make our plan, big, a little bit crazy and tell it to anyone who will listen, so our voice becomes louder than everyone else’s and gains trust from our customers.

    Engage

“He willingly gives a helping hand to every person that he works with in order to submit what is needed ahead of time and make the project a success.”

Arvin Maya is very dedicated to the tasks that are given to him. He confidently knows his responsibilities and scope of work when it comes to his projects. More often than not, he goes beyond them. He willingly gives a helping hand to every person that he works with in order to submit what is needed ahead of time and make the project a success. Arvin is a true “Engaging Leader” who is not afraid to face the challenges at hand; by attending meetings, gathering requirements, and applying them in the most effective user interface design. “Under promise, over deliver” is one of the best traits that he has that I admire about him. I am very proud to be in the same Sub-Division he's in and working with like-minded Tribers like him within the team.

By practicing one of our Values which is Engage, that helps fulfill the tasks of a Triber, which leads to a successful project that makes our customers happy.

As Tribers, embracing the 5 values will help you to achieve not only Music Tribe’s goal but also creates a path for you to achieve your own. In addition to that, by following these values, it will transform us into becoming an individual who can excel in building relationships and at the same time, provide an excellent service to our customers. At the end of the day, it shows our customers that we, the Tribers are the most efficient, respectful and talented employees.

ReviewSecurity I was impressed, I must admit. It's rare that I come across a blog that's both educational and funny, and let me tell you, you've made it. The problem is one that not enough people speak intelligently about. I'm so glad that I found this in my search for something about this. [Smadav 2023](https://smadav-2023.blogspot.com/)

Let’s see how resident Music Tribe synth head, Dan Burton, spends most of his time around the instrument that has brought him so much success.

    Triber Q&A – Dan Burton

    Tell us about yourself.
Where are you from? How long have you been with the Tribe? What’s your role? What’s a typical day like for you?

Hey, I’m Dan and I am the Customer Branding Leader for Behringer Synthesizers, Drum Machines and DJ products here at Music Tribe. I’m from Wales, UK and have been with Music Tribe for almost 2 years. A typical working day for me is to wake up, make myself a coffee and immediately research what’s new in the world of synths, new content and the day’s trends/discussions. I work and film all the Behringer video content from my home studio at the bottom of my garden. It’s nice to pop outside, in between shoots, to get some fresh air and vitamin D whenever the sun is out!

When working from home, I find it important to get out of the house at the end of the day. I’m very lucky to live very close to a beach so I take my dog for a walk there as often as I can.

If it’s raining outside though, you’ll find me either still locked up in my studio or at the piano until well into the evening!

What made you decide to get into the passion of Music? How did it all start?

Outside of Music Tribe, I am a member of synthesizer legend Howard Jones’ electronic band where I play synths and electronic percussion! In fact, as of a couple of weeks back, I returned from a 7 week-long tour across the USA.

I have been surrounded by synthesizers since the age of 4 back when my parents sat me down in front of my dad’s Korg M1 that he used back when he was in a band in the 80s.

So, it is safe to say that Synthesizers have played a massive role in my life, where I am not only surrounded by them here at Behringer, but also in my studio and on-stage. I am profoundly grateful to be able to enjoy my passion of synthesizers as often as I can on such a regular basis, inside and outside of Music Tribe!

What has been your greatest challenge in this endeavor?

In terms of challenges, my main challenge is when I am trying to learn every single little thing on all the products that I use within my role at Behringer. With so many synths, drum machines, modules, etc. being produced; it is extremely important that I discover every single little thing about it.

This is so important to me that not only do I fully understand how the instrument works, but also to ensure that the launch content exceeds the expectations of our Customers. Whether it is writing an inspiring demo song, creating accurate and useful tutorials, delivering super interesting product facts, demonstrating key features, and of course, fully understanding the needs of our Customers and demonstrating our products to their ultimate ability – I take immense pride in delivering my best when it comes to creating content on the Behringer YouTube channel!

    Who/what inspires you?

When it comes to inspiration, I am incredibly grateful to have been so heavily inspired by Howard Jones, who I consider having been my mentor in the years where music has fully become my career and even until today. It started back when Howard encouraged me to put on my first live performance as a solo artist. I remember that most of the audience were friends and family and it barely sold tickets. There must have been about 20 people in attendance.

Fast forward 5 years and I there I am on-stage with Howard, in his band playing to around 750,000 people in front of Berlin’s Brandenburg Gate.

Were it not for him giving me the confidence to believe in myself (as a shy bedroom-producer), I genuinely believe that I would have never ended up being in the position I am today where music is at the heart of my full-time career, both at Music Tribe and on-stage.

What would you say to those who are interested to try becoming a musician?

So, for anybody reading this post who has little self-confidence in their music, or even themselves as an Artist; I absolutely encourage you to be proud of not only the music you write, of whatever musical skills you may have, and most importantly... be proud of yourself and your achievements, no matter how big or small. I still surprise people today when they discover I cannot read music!

One of the main reasons why I love working for Music Tribe is that the focus is entirely on empowering Musicians. A vision that is something I truly connect with on absolutely every level.

The Red Community Project is a community run by the youth in Zambia. Their goal is to provide access to a whole range of work opportunities where one can develop and cultivate skills or discover passions in a safe space.

Providing ways for the children of Mutende Village in Lumlamba, and the world, to explore their talents and skills by donating synthesizers and music equipment has always been Uli's vision. We are very delighted to share the wonder of music with them and hope that they gain valuable skills and passions.
