I have 2 S16 The first one started popping about every 10 or 15 minutes like a gun shot, sent it back to Behringer for repairs. It was fixed and returned to me, about a year later it started doing the same thing again. rather than fix it I bought a brand new one around the end of 2019. With covid going on the last time we performed was the end of February 2020 . We all decided we would get together and practice, When I started the system up the new S16 would not connect so i switched to the old S16 and it connected, but with pops. I have updated the firmware on the new S16 and the X32 with the latest 2020 versions, still will not connect. Both settings Are the same on both S16 I only use one not both. I've tried to register to send it back but it keeps saying my email is invalid. Tried to call but they want answer the phones. If  the music group reads this I need some help.

im having trouble getting outboard hardware's signal routed back to DAW using Behringer x32. i have audio tracks that im pushing out to an external hardware compressor which has input signal letting me know audio is getting thru coming out from the behringer x32. but, how do i get a signal into my DAW protools of that same compressed audio back thru the behringer X32? ive tried many methods, changed the routing of the x32, many x32 routing videos, changed routing from Daw and waves soundgrid routing etc etc.. there is audio sound of the track but its coming out locally thru the x32 console to the speakers. but, my maine issue is getting the compressed sound from the external compressor thru the x32 into my DAW...

Rex Beckett The best way we can help with this is by looking at your X32 configuration. If you export the current scene, upload it to Google Drive (or similar) and post a share link we can see what you need to change.

It would also help if you tell us which X32 outputs and inputs are connected to the external compressor.

The keyboardist coming out of channel 1direct output from console to hardware compressor's input. then, out from hardware compressor's output to behringer's channel 1 mic input

      • having trouble getting outboard hardware signal routed back to DAW via Behringer x32
Rex Beckett Interesting routing. All the local inputs are being sent to the USB (Card) output and all the console channels are being fed from USB playback. Is this what you intended? If the external compressor output is connected to X32 local input 1, it should arrive at your PC on USB track 1.

I was wondering if a ethernet signal that has POE on it will damage a ethernet connector on a x32?

I have been trying to get parts support from MT for over a month...  I finally got an email response but I have questions I need answered.  I tried to call the Las Vegas service center and there was NO ANSWER.  I tried calling the Atlanta Service Center...  NO ANSWER.  I tried the 1-800 number (finding that was almost impossible)... I was placed on hold for 45 minutes before I gave up.  Why is your customer support SO PATHETIC!?!?!?  This is why Behringer and Bugera have such a bad reputation.  The products are nicely thought out and very affordable.  But when there is a problem the consumer is more or less $h!t out of luck.  Let's find a solution to this situation sometime before the next decade rolls over...

Kyle Johnson Hi John, Kyle here with Music Tribe. Our support system is now entirely web based. I'm not sure which 800 number you were calling, but we do not have a phone support line. I can completely understand your frustration given the amount of time you have been trying to get your questions answered. I will find your case and make sure someone gets back to you as soon as possible. Please monitor your email.

      • WHY DON'T YOU EVER ANSWER THE PHONE?????
John Maxfield Thanks Kyle. I was working with Zack Boneham in the parts department, but if he can't call me on the phone then getting the right parts is going to take forever. I sent him an email asking him to call me back but never got a response. I am not particular on who calls me... just that it occurs between 8am and 6pm CST and that the person is capable of answering technical questions such as "does this part number reference a component or an assembly?". Also they should have access to an illustrated parts breakdown ( or a parts list with a reference drawing) and the ability to decipher it. If I need the next assembly up, will they know how to navigate that in the IPB?

You guys need technicians/engineers on staff addressing advanced needs (one more item for your wish list, right?).

Has anyone at M-T thought about licensing contractors to do aftermarket (non-warranty) sales and service? People you don't have to put on the payroll... rather, you just give them access to the database (oracle, SAP, or whatever you guys use). Then let them take on the jobs that you guys get hung up on because they're not in the warranty system. It would reduce your workload, create local support for your products, and increase your revenue stream; all without adding to your overhead. The only initial cost would be some minimal training for new CSR Technicians.

I reached out to the new M-T HR Lead (Simon Antrobus) on linked-in to make a connection and possibly discuss this concept with him. It would certainly streamline your aftermarket sales and service division considerably.

If there is someone else more immediate (read, "stateside") that may find this interesting, please, pass along my contact info. I have 27 years of Operations, Maintenance, and Service experience ranging from Technician to Engineer, to Technical Expert and Project/Supply Chain Management; all with loads of leadership experience mixed in. Maybe I can help you guys get this ball rolling by opening a hub in the greater Houston area. I know there is a lot of equipment around here that gets tossed because of the lack of aftermarket service.

        -John

Hi,  I have just bought a Behringer Xenyx Q802USB to go with my Audio Tecnics 2100 Dynamic Mic. Going into my PC and into Twisted Wave program.

The Mic needs a USB to the mic cable to the PC, presumably to run some power as well as the signal. The Q802USB has a rear output to a USB plug, which I have also plugged into my PC. So the mic has the USB and XLR ports occupied.

The with the input gain at 3 oclock and the Ch 1 gain at 3 oclock and mixer gain at 3 oclock, the mixer VUmeter goes up to the yellow, but on the Twisted Wave program, the peaks are only showing a level of -30 to -20RMS.

Question 1. Do I need to run the USB cable to the mic as well as the XLR?

Question 2. Why is there a difference between the 802USB output and the Twisted Wave input?

I am new at all this and would appreciate your help.

    Cheers,

    Rob

Rex Beckett Hi Rob, when you are connecting the XLR output of the ATR2100-USB to a mixer, you do not need to connect the mic's USB. If you connect the USB from the mic to a PC, it provides a digital signal path that can bypass the mixer.

John Matthews Hi Jamie, sorry for the problem your having with the registration. Can you please submit a tech support case and include the serial numbers/ invoices for the items you would like to register. I can then register these manually for you and have the web team look into the issue.

I am having loads of trouble logging on to a case. I need a phone number or a way to reach out. Looking for a schematic for the interface board the connector has more pins than the connector and I want to make use it is dressed correctly.

John Matthews Hi Anthony, all Behringer support is through the community and web forms at the moment. Unfortunately we aren't able to provide schematics as a matter of company policy so we wouldn't be able to help with this.
