Hello together. I just bought me my first setup. I want to create Leraning Videos.

I want to use a Rode Pro Caster, this GoXLR with USB Audio Interface und OBS.

My Problem is, that I cannot use my Mic, or only with low Level. After Installing GoXLR SW, I plug in my Mic via XLR.

In Windows I choose Boradcast Mic. In XLR I user setup "Dynamic". I only hear my Mic, when I am in Mic Setup in the app. After pressing ok, the sound is gone. I see no peak in windows, or OBS. I really go crazy ^^

Has anyone any Idea for me? Thank you so much.

Can I connect a laptop or computer to the XR18 with an ethernet cable and also still be able to connect an iPad to the XR18 wifi? If so, how do I do this. Or do I need an external router to accomplish this? Thanks.

KyleJohnson You would need to use a router. The XR18 can be set to connect via Ethernet OR the internal WiFi, so you would need to set it to Ethernet and connect to the Router, then you can connect several devices to the router for control.

Are the X18/X32 Edit apps compatible with the Windows version on MS Surface?

Nigel67 Hi JoeHammons. I am just confirming with the design team that it is fully compatible. There were a few touch issues which I think are fixed now however need to confirm first of all.

Nigel67 I can confirm that the touch issues are all fixed in the latest software release. It appears that there are some control buttons missing from the recorder page but these will be fixed in the next update. I do not have a release date for that at present. Hope this answers your question. All the best.

I just purchased the Behringer PMP4000 for my congregation. We have passive speakers and monitors (1/4 inch mono connecting cables) and no other power amp. Do I have to go out and buy professional locking connectors (NL4FC) to get to my mains and monitors, or is there another way to get a powered signal to the speakers just using the cables I have?

KyleJohnson Hello, Kyle here from Music Tribe. The PMP4000 powered outputs are Speakon connectors only. You can find adapters for your existing 1/4" speaker cables or look into Speakon to 1/4" speaker cables.

SheldonSands2021 Thanks Kyle. Am I likely to find Speakon adapters or Speakon to 1/4 cables at most music/audio shops such as Guitar Center?

KyleJohnson Yes, you should be able to find either at most music shops.

I saw in the manual not to plug in the mic when the unit is powered up. But, I didn't see that before I plug it in and now I have no effects or harmoniew. All the buttons and lights work great, the dry sound of the mic is heard and my guitar is heard out of the unit. I did a factory reset, a firmware update and still no effects or harmonies. Does anyone know the soultion to getting the actual processing back??

Nigel67 Hi Gizza210. There shouldn't be any issues when plugging your unit into a Mac if it is still recognised by your Windows machine. Are you using a USB hub? If so, can you try plugging the unit directly to the Mac as sometimes the hub can cause problems. Just to confirm, if you go into System Preferences, and then click on Sound.  This will open a new window that has three tabs called Sound Effects, Output and Input.  Select the Input tab as this is where you are selecting the source of the audio coming into the Mac.  In the box below it, you should then have a choice of microphone or UMC204HD (it may also say Audio Codec)? If you play audio into the UMC204HD while powered from the Mac, monitoring on headphones, does it sound clear as you would expect? No distortion?

How can I run Behringer B115D active speakers with a powered mixer?

    • Rickmc11
RobbyWingfield HI Rick, Robby with Music Tribe, most powered mixers will have non- powered outputs as well. Some time these are listed a control room outs or tape outs. If you give the model of the mixer I can make a more specific recommendation

Thanks for the reply, Robby. It's one that I've had forever. It's a crate PCM-8 DLX. Also, how can I hook up an Xvive Audio U4 Wireless In-Ear Monitoring System to my Behringer Xenyx 1202FX Mixer with Effects, or can I? Thanks again.

    My setup is like this:

    Guitar--(In)Behringer Audio Interface(Out)--Powered Studio Monitors

Laptop running Bias FX2(connected to Behringer Audio Interace by USB)

This setup works as a Home Studio. But I want to play on Stage.

What device do I need (Is it a Direct Box after the Behringer Audio Interface), such that I can connect to an AMP+Cab on stage and still be able to use my Bias FX2 software.

How do I go from playing with Powered Studio Monitors to AMP + Cab on stage (while using the Bias FX2 software).

    Tks

RexBeckett Hi shuq, you need to drop the signal level to suit the amp's instrument input. It would also be an advantage to have transformer isolation to prevent hum from ground-loops. Some passive DI boxes may work but the best solution would be to use one of Radial Engineering's ReAmp interfaces which are designed for this situation. Passive units like the JCR or ProRMP avoid the need for power supplies.

      See: https://www.radialeng.com/product_category/reamp

Thanks RexBeckett. Do I need this ReAmp interface behind the Behringer audio interface or I can use this without the Behringer audio interface ?

RexBeckett Hi shuq, from the description in your first post, it seems that you need the USB audio interface to connect your guitar as an input to the FX2 software. You also need it to connect the output from FX2 to whatever amplifier or monitors you are using. A Reamp device just converts a line-level output to one suitable for a guitar amplifier input. It does not replace the input/output functions of the USB audio interface.

Which model of USB audio interface are you using?

There may be other ways to achieve what you want but a Reamp box is a simple way to change your studio rig to use guitar amps in place of studio monitors - without changing the signal flow.
