I recently purchased a Bugera V55HD from zZounds and have only used it for approximately 4hrs and there is a humming sound that goes load and soft in and out as a loss of power is noticeable. I turned the head around and both red lights are on to replace the tubes. What should I do about this? I would change the tubes myself if you can supply them instead of trying to repackage it and ship it back. All I’m asking for is new tubes and I won’t bother you again. Thanks, Randy

I really like the amp and plan on purchasing the Bugera V22HD if everything works out with this one...

Nigel67 Hi Randy, if the unit is brand new and under 30 days, you should go back to the shop that you purchased it from and ask for a DOA. If it is over 30 days, but still under warranty, then we can repair it for you. It will be possible for us to send you the replacement tubes, however you will lose any remaining warranty because you have gone inside the unit. Please click on the support tab at the top of the page. On the new page that opens, scroll down and submit a service ticket where one of my colleagues will be able to help you further. Many thanks

Randyp64 I filled out the information order many days ago and have not heard back from anyone if I can’t get the replacement tubes I will send it back and take a refund. It’s no use to me unless I put more money into it and I don’t want to go that route please let me know when or if something can be worked out. Thanks, Randy

Nigel67 Hi Randy, I am very sorry for the late reply to your ticket. Do you have the ticket number and I can find out why it hasn't been answered. Many thanks

I have been trying to send it in, for repairs, for 28 months. I can't get any answers.

I will ship it, if only I knew where to get it fixed. I do not have the bill of sale, so I cannot register a care ticket.

    Any advice???

    Peter

Hi, I have bought a PS1 Powersoak. It's all good but if I run my Vox NT50 flat out into it with a 2x12 cab attached, even with the powersoak set to the lowest volume, it's still too load to play in my flat late at night.

So, is it safe to use it without the speaker attached and the soak volume set to a little more than the lowest, then I can use the line out into a mixer & use headphones. I say, little more than lowest becuase the line out is wierdly controlled by the large soak volume wheel, so when that's set to lowest, virtually nothing comes through the line out apart from hiss & hum.

The manual is quite ambiguous on this.

      DavidKnighton Hello Russell,
The manuals states that "even with the SOAK set to 100, the power output will be about half of the amplifiers rated output". This means if you have a 100 watt amp, you're effectively reducing the output by about by 50 watts with Soak set to 100.

All that being said, I think it would be wise to maintain the speaker load of the cabinet, as most amps do not function correct without the speaker load. What I would suggest is to turn the Master volume down on your amp to compensate. Also, you might want to check and see if you can disconnect one of the drivers in your cabinet to change the load impedance. If you can disconnect one driver, you may increase the load impedance, which will draw less power from the amp, and in turn may reduce the volume a bit. If you do this, make sure you check the impedance value of the speaker and use the correct impedance setting on both the PS1 and the amp head.

As an owner of a 6260 Guitar Head and a G5 Head, I wonder if Bugera will make a Mini Head of a 6260? I play metal and use my 6260 (Which I love). At small venues I use the G5 with a 1x12 cabinet. To me, it does fell a bit awkward taking a good looking boutique amp to music situation where the amp need to look mean. Here's my question to Bugera, Will there be a desire to make a 6260 Mini Head that will sound like it's big brother? Just Asking.

I have replied to your case and I notice that you have submitted on the 16.12/2020 a sales information case as a Spare Parts case that is the reason you did not got a more immediate answer on this matter.

    Dear Bugera:

my G5 started malfunctioning about a month ago. i have had it for almost 3 years (Dec 20th will be 3 years) and  I thought it was the valves so I ordered new ones to replace them. I have installed them and the issue remains. Basically the amp has very poor definition, low volume and it breaks up at very low volume, both channels facing the same situation. I cannot get a clear clean tone out of the amp regardless. As I live in Panama, I have been led to know there is no authorized dealer nor repair shop. I have also found some posts on the internet of people facing the same issues as I described with their G5s and the issue is kind of common and Bugera had to replace their units at the end at no cost. I would like to know how to proceed.
    thx.
    Juan

    Hello,

My Bugera T5 Infinium, which I have owned for about a year, has recently started malfunctioning. Specifically; the reverb section shifts between the setting on the potentiometer (which is currently set to 0) to full on (10).

Is there anyway I can fix this, send this in for repairs, or is this untit still under a factory warranty?

Thanks for any help, and have a great day!

    ~ Chase
