    Hi Folks,

We currently have a pair of IQ12's for FOH and IQ18B's for Subs.

We have a pair of SD8's and the Behringer Wing.

Is it possible to run the IQs via ultranet to the stage boxes?

    Thanks,

    Mark

GaryHiggins Yes the ultranet from the SD8's will be what is assigned by the Wing for aes50 ch's 33-48. So if your SD8 is on say Wing port A, the ultranet ports on the SD will carry what the Wing has assigned for aes50a out 33-48. Rout your appropriate sources there in the Wing and setup the speakers as per usual.

    HI

Got an issue with X18 (purchased recently) where Bus1 used for in ear monitoring output is only sending left panned signal.

Yet all settings for channels and Bus 1 appear to be panned centrally ?

john0121 Hi, can you fill out the tech support form via the support button at the top of the page and attach a copy of your scene file with it. We can take a look then what the problem is. Thanks

Paul_Vannatto Select the bus 1 master fader and adjust the pan from hard left to center. Also check to make sure it is not stereo linked to bus 2.

I have no problem playing it back on the  Wing  but I want to save the 16 track mix for later use in my DAW  Logic Pro X. I need to use the SD cards for another show in a few days. I'm sure it's just a routing issue. . . .  always is with my wing.

I recently purchased an XR18 for use with connecting to some wireless mics for a live theatre production. My goal is to trigger snapshots on the XR18 from QLab. While I can connect using XAir Edit through Ethernet and WiFi, I cannot connect using OSC. I was able to trigger the presets using a USB MIDI connection but since my QLab computer will be in the booth and the mixer will be offstage, I need the Ethernet connection. I also downloaded the X-Air Live Toolbox app and cannot get that to “see” the mixer either. Any suggestions you can offer will be appreciated. Thx!

Paul_Vannatto Are X-Air Edit, Live Toolbox and QLabs all on the same laptop, yet just X-Air Edit can connect? That is odd. For Live Toolbox, make sure the port is 10024 and select the Search checkbox and try a few times.

Paul_Vannatto cooperman20, this thread is about an XR18 connection problem with QLab and Live Toolbox, not about an X32 Compact. Please delete your post and start your own thread. Also search YouTube for X32, since there are tons of tutorials there.

Paul_Vannatto Like everything electronic, automotive, etc., it's probably due to the global chip shortage.

Dale_M As Paul states there is a world shortage of semi-conductors at present, however if you go to the Behringer website and select the BUY tab it will give numerous places you can buy so may be worth double checking with the retailers. https://www.behringer.com/buy.html

Does anyone know what the slope of the high and low cuts on the main mixes are? Coming from an X32 where I had them set as LR24 filters for the LR and Mono crossover.

Paul_Vannatto Hey Johnny, if you turn on the low band, then select the Settings, then the low band pull-down list and switch between cut and LR24, you will find they are identical.

Hi, I have this X18 now for years and made a lot of multichannel recordings with it. Nice little thing to work with on remote location. Many thanks for that.

But ... now I want to use this mixer as a "stereo" mixer with 2 independent stereo outputs: 1 for amplification to a stereo setup, the second to a analog stereo recording system (taperecorder - I know - old school). I thought I could use 'Main' for output 1 (that's fine) and bus output 1&2 for recording. Setting it up like that would even allow me to record 1 stereo source and listen to another. Anyway ...

So, all left channels of the inputs are set to bus 1 and all right channels to bus 2 (7 stereo inputs in total, using 14 input channels).

But it does no work when I try to use 'StereoLink' for the input channels (both input faders work together), because this directs both input channels to 1 bus in stead of 2 seperate busses, like I configured, resulting in a mono, 1 channel output.

As far as I know, it is impossible to bypass the output for both input channels to different busses when 'StereoLink' is activated. It would be great to be able to maintain the different output busses. Can be done in the software, no? Or did I missed something? Can somebody help me with this?

Paul_Vannatto You want to stereo link bus 1 and 2, not the channels.

ib130258 Yes, you are perfectly right. When the 2 busses are stereo linked, I can safely also stereo link the channels. I missed that option.
Thank you so much for your help. I have to admit that this is the first time in all those years I had such a situation.
It contributes to the ability of this small mixer. Great stuff!

    WING has so plenty plugins.

But lacking one thing is users can't see several plugins interface.

    So.... I image this.

In upcoming WING-EDIT application like X32-edit,

eager to see this plugin page.

first vertical row is selected channel's plugin view,

and last two vertical row is custom pined view which user want to see every show time.

    Thanks for your reading.

Thanks more to Behringer Development team for 1.12.4 update.

and now I know that there are only behringer update their digital console frequently and constantly.

I have one another idea for key source.

When operator using these technic for gating drum, users spend two channels for one source.

    https://youtu.be/X7WunKmUh04?t=452

so this... If user using this tech for ever drums ( kick snare tom1,2,3 ), have to using 10 channels totaly for this.

    So....

If users can using not only 40 input channels but also could assign every connected inputs ( not yet assigned input ch ),

Users could save 5 channels, and could using that for other sources.

    Thanks for your reading.

    Best regard.
