My X32 arrived one month ago, and I can say, that I'm more than happy with it! I than ordered a P16M, that arrived this week. Works perfekt in conjunction with the X32! The box says, that you can control your P16M with an BCF2000 over midi. But the thin manual contains no information on this topic.

How should I configure my BCF2000 to work with the P16M?

    Hello,

I bought an X1222USB mixer. All is fine until now, except that the list of effects listed in the upper right corner of the thing is the wrong one. It seems to be for a mixer with 99 effects (whereas the X1222 only has 16 effects).

Is this issue known and are there other aspects of the mixer that may not be true to the specs? If the only issue is labelling I'll keep it, but if there are other issues I'll return it for exchange.

    Cheers,

    Marcel B

Why are companies like Guitar Center, AMS and Musicians Friend listing some of the new usb mixers for sale then telling us they are not yet available.. I just ordered the Q1202 from AMS and paid for it only to find out that it is "Available Soon".. why would Behringer Allow its partners to list these items if they are not yet ready to sell? this is kinda frustrating

Do you have to use Audacity or one of the other DAW programs that come with the mixer or can you use any Daw program? I am interested in trying others out but I have experience with Garageband, Protools and Reaper and don't want to give that up..

also I read in a forum that the 302 unit requires a driver that isolates the USB port so it will not work if you plug another audio input into the port.. unless of course you remove the driver.. sounds arduous

    Hello guys

I recently bought myself a new nu6000DSP, i must say i like it. its super-light, and runs cool all night.
Now my scenario. i have 1 JBL MRX528 Sub woofer (4ohm) that i bought the nu6000DSP for. i hooked it up on channel A. set limiter threshold at -9.5db (i really don't know why i chose that). now when i feed the amp with a signal, the clip led pops up. this gets me really worried and frustrated because i don't know if the led means the system is clipping and might possibly fry the speaker or if it means the limiter is engaged and protecting the speaker (like it does on my DCX2496). i didn't get the punch i wanted so i turned up the knob till i feel satisfied with the bass even though i was scared for the sub. i once fried 2 B1800X on EP2500, i don't want that happen to me again

that being said, what would you recommend i setup the limiter to, or how would i know if i'm running close to the line.

InactiveUser If you have a look into the user manual you will see that the red LEDs are LIMIT LEDs, not CLIP. So it just shows you that the limiter starts to work.

InactiveUser Perhaps that limiter is set to conservatively.

When I open up the Remote connect and plug in -9.5 in the limiter, on a 4ohm load it says 140.3 w. 8ohm load is 70w.

Try setting the limiter closer to zero. I run mine at -1.3 in my bass guitar rig

but if you check it also says to reduce input gain when the LIMIT LED lights up continuously, that means danger, doesn't it?

I couldn't even imagine trying to navigate the controls through the DSP display. I need to use the software on my laptop connected via USB.

However, in my case I have a 'set it & forget it' outlook. All of my tone shaping is done with a tube pre-amp.

I am having problems with sound levels randomly dropping out and spiking on my Xenyx 802. I am a DJ using this mixer as "submixer". I run 2 microphones Ch 1&2 for the mics. I run the signal from my DJ controller to Ch 3 in stereo via the 2 1/4 jacks for ch 3. I keep the eq flat and the signal from my controller is unamplified, and is well-below clipping. In theory, I'm sending safe levels to the 802.
I noticed during my last gig that the sound levels from CH3 were randomly fading in and out. Worst yet, was the "SPIKES" in sound. I had to disconnect from the 802 and run sound directly from my controller to the powered speakers.
What could be causing this? Am I pushing the 802 too hard?
    I appreciate your feedback.

    G’day All.

To cut a long story short - When I plugged my X-32 into the firewire port on my computer, I didn’t see any inputs or outputs. A major issue to me as I got the desk for recording only.

I reported this on the forums (along with another issue), and received an email from Patrick Ferdig, who dug deep and helped me with the other issue, then passed me to Chase McNight. Chase ascertained that It may require local input and passed me to Renee at Behringer in Blackburn.
Renee bent over backwards to help! She put up with a whole raft of emails from me describing processes and techniques that led me to the conclusion it was the X-UF card at fault. Working with Chase, she organized a replacement card and delivered it in person! She then hung around while I installed the card, drivers, and tested it.

    Problem solved.

Things do go wrong, and we all understand that. It’s only then however, that you can gauge the quality of the people you are dealing with. These guys really stood up, and followed this issue to resolution. I could not be happier with their attitude and service.

If this is the new Behringer – Count me IN.

    Thanks again

    Hi there,

My company uses Bose 802's, 302's (subs) and 502's (subs).

We used an oscilloscope to firstly map the outputs from a Bose 802CII system controller, then spent two full days fine tuning the NU6000DSP settings to match the original EQ wave form.

We've now been using these EQ settings for full range 802, bi-amped 302 and bi-amped 502 shows for a few months and the results have been fantastic. No more need for the Bose controllers or all the leads and connections that go with them!

For bi-amped shows we simply use one amp for the left channel (the 302 is driven by channel A, the 802 by channel B) and a duplicate for the right. The balance between the 802 and sub can be adjusted by altering the channel "A" gain in the Crossover section of the settings, we have ours set +3 (302) to +4.5db (502), the original Bose 802CII controller has an adjustment on the back for -18 to +3db.

I have posted to this forum because we'd like to share these EQ files with other Inuke owners that may use Bose.

Hope someone else gets some use out of them!

    Download http://www.xdj.com.au/Bose%20EQ%20Settings/

Or simply copy the following code into a text file, then rename the extension .arp these files can then be uploaded to the inuke amp.

I was expecting to find some documentation regarding controlling the unit via midi in the box, but ...
Also, the user guide does not provide any usable information in this regard (midi implementation charts, midi cc, ...).
Anyone out there has ever managed to control effect changes via midi signals coming from a pc? More specifically I want to use Ableton Live to do that (for live purposes?free the singer from the incumbence of remembering preset numers and pushing buttons in the dark...).
    Thanks a lot!
    Have a great day, ciao

      InactiveUser hi...me again...

Interesting...I have just found out that the english version of the manual which can be downloaded from B's website contains A LOT more information than the multilanguage printed version which comes in the box!

      That's an interesting communication policy.

Anyway....If I'll be able to control the unit from Live I will post the relevant details.

      Ciao
