As always, worked great until now. TC Helicon Voicelive 2, little gigging, always looked after. Loss of output from RH channel from 1/4" outputs and also headphone out. Reset to factory settings, fiddled with setup, still very little output from RH channel. It's there, but barely. Noticed at last gig one of the 1/4" jacks had been pulled halfway out, pushed it back in. I recall the unit has some "intelligence" where it knows which cables are attached and routes accordingly. I wonder if some esoteric combination of this and some "TRS thing" has muted the output channel. If anyone has any ideas, perhaps similar experience, much appreciated.

GeorgeFalconer1 I came on here to see if anyone had any answers to this - seems not! I found the SPDIF output still works in stereo, bought a digital to analog convertor (approx £30) and it works OK. Bit of a pain, as this adds to the number of cables and a wall wart to carry around, and something else that might go down during a gig.

I am an indoor city of this company. And no one will answer my emails. I want off the website! How come I can't get one person to answer me at this company? Yet you use my image freely?? We had a deal. And when the company sold I never heard from anyone again. You stopped dealing with me. NOW TAKE ME OFF THE WEBSITE!!

Look. I’ve sent emails to everyone. I have tone prints. I have videos on your site. My picture is on the endorsee list. I signed autographs at the booth at NAMM. You guys should know who I am. It’s embarrassing that I had to come on the public forum to even get an answer. You aren’t answering anyone. Don’t be disingenuous now. You’ve had years to reach out to me. Since the company sold I haven’t been contacted? Much less answered dozens of emails. To the right addresses. The one that was given me! I am Jack Gibson from the band Exodus. Either reach out to me and make it right, or take me off all your media. Videos and tone prints.

I work with music, not video, so how can I get VK to perform at 44.1kHz?

    0 848
    • DanielRaizer
DikiRoss Are you talking about using it as an audio interface?

Because, in the analog world, 48kHz equates to lower latency and better frequency response.

If you want to stay at 44.1kHz, I'd say use your existing interface and record the analog outputs of the VK...

DanielRaizer Yes, I want to use it as an audio interface on the road. I have a better interface at my studio and all my sessions are 44.1kHz or 88.2kHz. Since VK does not allow me to use 44.1kHz this scenario becomes complicated...I hope this is addressed on a next firmware...?

    • DanielRaizer
      TCH-Spencer Hey Daniel,

Unfortunately this will not be changed with firmware - VK will remain at 48 kHz. Diki is correct that this higher sample rate is preferable, to the majority of our users in fact. What the issue - are you using some old VST that only supports 44.1 or something like that?

    • DanielRaizer
DikiRoss I think the OP is preferring to not have to do a sample rate conversion.

Ideally, yes, if mixing for CD, 88.2kHz or 44.1kHz sample rates are preferable. But sample rate conversion has become a LOT better these days (if you have modern software), and shouldn't really be that big an issue.

To be brutally honest, if you have a really pro-grade A/D in the home studio, you are FAR more likely to hear more difference between the quality of the A/D's than a sample rate conversion. What do you expect from a $250 device?

If you are prepared to use an inexpensive A/D on the road, you have already compromised. An imperceptible degradation from a 48kHz to 44.1kHz (I would recommend you actually try it and see if you can hear the difference in a blind test) is the least of your issues if you have a real pro quality A/D at home.

Bottom line, maybe it's time to start recording and mixing at home at 96kHz (or even 192!) like the majority of pro studios do..? A downsample conversion from there to 44.1kHz is a pretty standard thing that is basically unnoticeable. And the upsample from 48kHz to 96kHz is transparent.

    hi everyone,

My crave has quite noisy audio out. Osc. sound can be heard very low. It is connected to S32 via DI800. I tried various connection options like direct to S32 and wing local input. Nothing changed. I uploaded a video. It may be more practical to determine the problem and possible solution.

    Thanks

RobbyWingfield Hi Xiddenx, this is Robby with Music tribe, it sounds like I am hearing notes change. Are you controlling it with something? Could you submit a case at the support tab above with a video that shows your settings? Thanks!

Thanks for quick response. It is connected to Arturia keystep pro via akai mpc live which has midi multi function can control multi equipment through its usb ports. I tried with midi cable direct connected to midi out port of keystep pro. Nothing make any difference even I also played it with crave's own keys. Crackles and pops are generated during playing over notes. I will do your advice.

    Driver / ASIO - problems from Windows XP Pro SP 3 32Bit to Windows 10 64Bit .

For some odd reason I can't get my UMC202HD - Working on any of my PCs . Not on a XP Laptop or a Windows 10 Desktop .

Tried all of the driver versions, but nothing seems to help .

The sample rate in the control panel sticks to 48Khz though I've set the project sample-rate in REAPER v6.36 to 44100 as well as requesting a sample rate of 44.1Khz and a buffer size of, what ever .

The product is almost brand new and I've had these problems with it since the very first day i got it .

    Some support here ...

Nigel67 Hi zergeiW72. Can I confirm that for your Windows 10 computer, you have downloaded and are running the Windows driver V5.12.0? If you are using a USB Hub, please can you try plugging directly in to the computer as some have been found to cause issues. Also make sure that you are plugged in to a USB2 compatible port. If you go into Device Manager, and then Audio Inputs and Outputs, does the UMC202HD show up as a IN 1-2 and an OUT 1-2? Further down the list in Device Manager, does it show up as BEHRINGER USB 2.0 Audio Devices? If so, then the computer is recognising the UMC202HD. If you right click on the speaker icon in the bottom right hand corner of your screen and select Sounds, a new page will open. If you select the recording tab, then highlight the UMC202HD device and select Properties - Advanced, is 2 channel 44.1KHz selected as the Default format? Also make sure that in the enhancements tab, 'Disable all enhancements' is ticked. Do the same for the Playback tab. If none of the above shows up any issues, then you will need to raise a Technical Support Ticket and we will be able to help you further. This can be done by clicking on the support tab at the top of the page. A new window will open. Scroll down and click on the Technical Support tab and submit a ticket. Many thanks

do adapters exist to be able to attach my PMP550M to a rack?
if so do you have a product number?
    thank you

    • propane77
Nigel67 Hi propane77. The rack mount metalwork should be included when you purchase the unit. The are packed in the cardboard protection at either end of the unit. The part number is Q62-00300-06870, you will require 2 plus the relevant screws. Please contact our spares team and they will be able to help you purchase a pair including the screws. This can be done by clicking on the support tab at the top of the page. A new window will open. Scroll down and click on the Service tab and submit a ticket. Many thanks

Hello everyone. I just now joined the forum and cannot wait to be part of this community as my experience grows!

I have a Ditto voice and a Play Acoustic. I want to use both and simply line them up and plug them into my amp.

Last night on my first attempt I put the Play Acoustic first in line then ran that into my Ditto Vocal and all my amp did was hum.

I will isolate the Ditto Voice later today as I experiment and work through this myself.

In the meantime I thought, heck, join the cool forum because you all have been there/done that!

Well, I could barely hear the Ditto. I bought it new/used off Reverb so someone has something programmed in there already.

One note: I'm using my Ditto Voice for my guitar.

I have all the adapter cables to convert from XLR to 1/4" and vise versa.

So, thank you in advance. Pretty simple stuff I think.

Looking for suggestions of any kind. Thank you all in advance.

    Bru

I've forgotten the password for my NX1000D Behringer power amp. I've spent a very long time trying anything that seemed likely but with no success. Is there any way around using the password? What if I update the software?

    • percy1
Nigel67 You will need to connect the NX Series EDIT software to your amplifier. Once connected, go into the Set Up page and you will be able to unlock your unit and set a new password.

    Morning all,

Need some advice on my new TC set up.

I have a BQ250 and 2 BC208 bass cabs. Am I right in thinking that when connected the overall speaker load becomes 16 ohm, or are the rear unputs on the cabs parallel connectors making the cabs go to a 4 ohm load which perfectky macths the head and wattage.

There is only 1 speaker output on the reverse of the amp so i have to dasiy chain the cabs

Was reccomended this setup but then thinking connecting 2 8ohm speakers in series makes  a16 ohm load which to my knowledge doesnt really produce its maxium volume potential.

This make sense? Or shoul I have just bought 1 single 4 ohm speaker.

RobbyWingfield Hi, jaybyname, this is Robby with Music Tribe. Daisy chaining speakers halves the ohm load collectively. So, daisy chaining two 8 ohm cabs would lower their collective impedance to 4 ohms which will match perfectly.
