I installed today the wrong firmware for my voicelive gtx. I installed the firmware for the voicelive play (version 1.5) and now I haven't got any guitar effects or guitar sounds. Can anyone help me to fix this problem?

    Sorry for my bad english.

    Thanks

    Hello

After installing the Voicelive Software 2 on my Minix Mini PC with Windows 11, and starting it up, it says:
    There is no internet connection...

After that it closes by itself. It is repeatable.

Of course there is an internet connection.

I am using an Voicelive 3 Extreme and I would like to backup it an all my user settings!
Otherwise everything is lost, if there is a problem with the Voicelive 3 Extreme.

    Where is the fault?

    Thank you.

      NicJonesMT Hi Carsten.
Our Development team are aware of this issue with Voicesupport 2 and are currently in the process of resolving this. Unfortunately we cannot give a timescale of how long this will take.

      Hello Nic.
For me it is a bad solution that the start of the software is made mandatory dependent on a connection to the TC Helicon server.
We should be able to start the software and at least without a connection to the server, save and write back your settings and setups.
And in case we would need a connection to the server for something specific, it should be possible to connect the software to the TC Helicon server, but in no case before, and certainly not artificially forced when starting the software!

Please pass this wish over to your Support. Thanx.

I have a Turbosound ip2000 that I have been using for the last six years in my shows and recently it stopped working. I have taken it to a repair place in my area, but nobody seems to be able to work on it. Can someone direct me to a repair shop that can fix it? I live in Raleigh NC. Thanks!

Nigel67 Hi Scootierabbit63. If you are the first owner, then the ip2000 may still be under warranty. Unfortunately, if the repair centre that you took it to has opened the speaker and tried to repair it, then the warranty will be voided. To find the Authorised Turbosound Repair Centre closest to you, please go to this link (https://www.turbosound.com/buy.html?type=POS) and choose one in the Country which you reside. If there isn't one, please contact our Super Partner for the Country in which you reside (https://www.turbosound.com/buy.html?type=STORE). If the repair shop that you took the speaker to didn't work on it, then please open a Technical Support ticket and we will be able to help you further. This can be done by clicking on the support tab at the top of the page. A new window will open. Scroll down and click on the Technical Support tab and submit a ticket. Please include a copy of your proof of purchase (invoice), a return shipping address and a contact number. Many thanks

I just upgraded my Odyssey to firmware 1.1.2 using SynthTribe 2.5.7 on a Mac. Now, there is no sound from the oscillators, neither when using the keyboard nor when using the sequencer or an external midi controller. The noise generator is still working and following the envelope generator.

I noticed that the Odyssey seems to interpret any received note (via keyboard, sequencer or midi controller) as the same very high note. There is a very high pitched sound when it receives a note and the filter when keytracked behaves the same as if it receives a very high note.

I have restarted the Odyssey several times and did a reset in the SynthTribe software, with no success.

The synth is completely broken for me now after this update.

    I have raised a ticket (CAS-619787-P6L0F8).

Is there any way to downgrade?

    Kindly, Annaluise

      • Odyssey no audio from oscillators after firmware update to 1.1.2.
annaluiseblume Dear NicJonesMT, yes thank you for your help! I just wrote in here as well in the hopes that someone else already had the same problem and found a solution. I'm a bit desperate because i need the synth in an upcoming show.

      • Odyssey no audio from oscillators after firmware update to 1.1.2.
annaluiseblume I have just tested the CV and GATE inputs at the back of the Odyssey. Using these the Odyssey works just fine.

So I guess the problem lies with the Midi-to-CV converter, which is affected by the firmware update.

The problem has been solved by recalibrating the Odyssey.

This had been suggested by the support team from the beginning. But I had dismissed this suggestion because I thought that the calibration would only affect the hardware and not the software. And the hardware was fine as I could test using the CV input.

The problem lied with the Midi to CV converter which translates the midi signals (Odyssey's keyboard actually sends midi to the synth part of Odyssey) to CV signals. This converter actually lost its calibration during the firmware update.

I want to thank the Support Team for their professional, quick and friendly help!

On the other hand I have to critize that the software to update the firmware did not warn that a recalibration might be necessary after the update. This changes the update from a two minute mouse click action to a one and a half hour hardware procedure for which you need a volt meter.
Opening the synth and measuring the voltage on the circuit board might not be something that everybody might be able to do themselves. So a warning might prevent trouble for some customers.

Generally, there are better ways to do firmware updates. I strongly suggest using the Web MIDI API for this. It would solve a lot of problems related to different operationg systems and networking problems. It's also bad practive to not offer to roll back the firmware. Being able to roll back the firmware is essential.

Again: Thanks to the Support Team!
      Till then,
      Annaluise

    Hello everybody!
I am new in the forum.
Recently I got a gmajor 2 to complete my eleven rack and I can't fin a way to set un the whammy effect with the FCB 1010 (UnO chip).
Do you know if there is a guide for dummies, a tutorial or something like that?

I managed to set the FCB in stompbox mode and it works pretty well, but I couldn't get any further with the expression pedals. So, any help would be appreciated.

    Regards

dellerbe You might give this a try. It helped me solve my issues with the expression pedals. This comes from the FCB1010 PC Editor Software.

      essayer Thank you dellerbe.

I have followed these steps posted by lidserter a while ago and I could make it work. I'll post them again in case someone is in my situation.

      lidserter wrote:

If the CC value increases and decrease when you rock the pedal everything is ok, you may be wrong assigning it to the parameter you want to control.

      Proceed as follows:

1-Set the Pitch block ON and select Whammy effect.

2-Go to the MOD menu, on MOD 1 select your pedal with learn and check the value changes when moved.

3-Once you are again on MOD 1, press ENTER (push the rotary wheel on the right)

4-With the arrows move to PIT Pitch and rotate the encoder until you select M1 (that is MOD 1).

5-If you want to set the response curve of the modifier for that parameter just press ENTER

6-With the arrows select MinOut, MidOut and MaxOut and with the encoder set its value as you want. For a whammy effect MinOut should be at 0% and MaxOut at 100%, set MidOut somewhere in between in order to get a curve thats sounds natural to you.

7-Press enter to exit response curve adjustment and proceed thru steps 4-6 if you want to control other parameters too (with the same pedal you may want to increase delay feedback when the pitch is higher or whatever).

      8-Store your changes.

      9-Enjoy your pedal.

essayer Now I have another issue:

In my whammy preset both the dry and the wet octave sound with the same volume. I would like to eliminate the dry octave.

      How could I do that?

lidserter Hello essayer, welcome to the forum! Glad to see one of my previous posts has helped you.

There is a parameter called Pitch on the whammy fx and here is what the manual states:

      Pitch

      Range: 0 to 100 %

This parameter sets the mix between the dry and processed signal. If e.g. set to 100 %, no direct guitar tone will be heard – only the processed “pitched” tone (this applies only for the Serial and the Semi parallel mode).

      regards,

      JJ

My Ditto boosts volume (particularly low freq) when I hit record.  I'm pretty sure firmware is up date but now the update software for mac won't open (updater is out of date?) so can't confirm. Seems to be a common problem but I've yet to see a solution. Thanks.

BryanB2 I posted this issue a year ago but never got a reply. I stopped trying to use the pedal since it was so glitchy and went back to a Boss RC30 which is pretty solid. I just bought a Ditto X4 recently which seems to work great. I can loop a few bars of percussion which will repeat while I loop a much longer rhythm of the song on top

cywinstanley UPDATE : This issue happened when running into a DI (Grace Felix) that has an impedance setting. It was set to low but when I changed it to high, the volume boost issue stopped happening. I know not all DI's have this but perhaps the issue is an impedance boost from hi to lo / vice versa. Not sure but it seemed to help.
