    Hi,

Just purchased the Behringer UMC1820. Using Reaper as my DAW. When I pan an inturment I can hear it in my main speakers but not in my headphones. Any ideas?

Nigel Turner Hi TedJones, there is no pan facility on the UMC1820, and can you identify which headphones and main speakers you are describing, from the UMC1820 or the DAW, and is it on playback or recording that you have the issue. If it is the DAW, then I am afraid that you will need to contact the DAW manufacturer for their advice as we do not support DAW operation. You haven't mentioned which OS you are using. If it is Windows 10, then you will need to make sure that you have the recording and playback settings set up as 2 channel in the Sounds Setting.

    Hello,

I'm having issues opening the Synthtribe v2.4.3 software in Windows 10 as it gives me an error window sayng "Cannot load library libusb-1.0.dll". How can I get it to work?

Synthtool v2.3.5 works, I don't know what can cause the issue with the latest version.

    Thanks for helping

My X-Touch One is not working on my Macbook Pro M1 with Big Sur.

It sends MIDI command correctly (so all buttons and the fader work) but it won't receive anything back from the platform. No LEDs will turn on, the scribble screen stays blank and most importantly, the fader is stuck at 0.

Are you aware of the issue, any beta firmware to download?

    Cheers

Pedro Rodrigues Hi Matteo, at this moment we still do not advise our customer to update to Big Sur, as we are still developing solutions for this only possible after the operating system was released and we do not have any time window for a implementation release . Thank you

Hi I just got the mac mini x32 with the m1 chip. Im running logic pro with the x32 as audio interface and getting audio drop outs on very simple audio tracks. Any ideas where to start to resolve?

      • Mac M1 chip and x32
Nigel Turner Hi Sean, I have just been reminded by the design team, that our mixers are class compliant and do not need drivers under MAC OS. Audio issues with M1 are purely Apples domain or DAW related. Unfortunately there is nothing that we can do.

Dave Morrison Check your IO Buffer size. The USB interface on the X32 isn't stable with low buffer sizes. I can't remember if 64 or 128 is as low as you can go. I always use 1024 in Logic so I can run big projects.

Paul Vannatto What version of Windows are you using? That icon in the top left corner looks like something from Win95. Also what Behringer product are you installing this ASIO drivers for?

I'm just starting out with synthesizers and need to know the correct connections to my keyboard amp.  I'm presently not getting any sound from the keyboard to the amp.  Need suggestions.

    Hello Folks,

Has anyone tried Reamping with a DI Box by using it in Reverse?

    1. You take a 1/4" balanced TRS cable out from any output of the UR-44 and insert it into rear panel of your DI Box Output via an XLR Female to 1/4" female. (Mine is a Behringer DI-100.
    2. Then on the Front of the DI Box connect a 1/4" TRS balanced cable from the Input to the input of the first pedal in the pedal chain.
    3. Then a TS unbalanced cable from output of the last pedal in your pedal chain into a Hi-Z input on the UR-44 (1 or 2) ?

Recently spent some time on my x32, and realized that the monitor mixes (via bus mixes) were all set to post fader. Although I hav read these should be set to prefader, I am not sure why that would be the case, as I assume the faders in question are the faders that affect the monitor mix level, NOT The faders controlling FOH. Is this not the case? Any advice/info would be appreciated. Thanks!

Paul Vannatto Hi Mark, the taps (prefader, postfader, etc.) are in relation to the channel fader (to FOH). With the tap set at post fader, that means as you adjust the channel fader for FOH, it will also affect the level sent to the respective mixbus. For feeding FX (eg. reverb), that is what you want in order to maintain the dry/wet ratio. For feeding monitor mixes, you definitely don't want that. Instead you want anything but post fader (or subgroup).

      • Pre Fader or Post Fader for Bus Mixes for Monitors?
Mark Letalien Hi Paul, thanks for your help and sorry to put you through the ringer today! Okay, that makes sense...I think I was looking at it from the wrong angle. So just to be clear, in this example, Output 1 is being used as a monitor and is being sent out via MixBus 1...the Tap should be set to Prefdr rather than Postfader, b/c if the fader on a channel is increased to increase the volume through the front of house, that will also affect a monitor mix, correct? Thanks!!

      • Pre Fader or Post Fader for Bus Mixes for Monitors?
Paul Vannatto Hi Mark, that screen you are showing are the output taps. What I described was about the channel sends tap (select a channel, then the sends screen). Output taps are in relation to the output fader. In your case (on the screen), that tap is in relation to the mixbus 1 master fader, which should be post fader, so that you can adjust the overall mix (of mixbus 1) by it's master fader.

      • Pre Fader or Post Fader for Bus Mixes for Monitors?
Mark Letalien Hi Paul, thank you for your continued help! So, what you are saying is this should be okay? In that they are set Post EQ (but not Post Fader)? 13 and 14 are effects so I assume that would be okay? Also (and sorry to ask), where do you within the console to change these settings? Please and thank you!

      • Pre Fader or Post Fader for Bus Mixes for Monitors?
Rex Beckett Hi Mark, in the version of the scene that you and I were discussing last week, all the channel-to-bus send taps are correct - apart from channel 16 (Sax) which I suspect you do not use.

When you are viewing the Sends page on the console, press the Down-Arrow key to display the signal tap controls.

      • Pre Fader or Post Fader for Bus Mixes for Monitors?
Paul Vannatto Hi Mark, to change the tap of any channel on the console, use the down arrow (left, right, up, down arrows beside the display) to display the second layer of that screen. Then use the 3rd or 5th encoder to adjust the tap. These taps are in pairs (eg. mixbus 1/2, 3/4).
