Already a weird question, you might be saying. But, I have an M32C with an S32 and they work together PERFECTLY with every Ethernet cable that I have (I have a 150 foot, a 100 foot and a 20 foot). However, I bought a 3 foot one because the M32C and the S32 are in the same case together and it doesn't work (the units won't synch up with each other). I've returned the cable thinking it was defective, but the new one doesn't work, either. I know it sounds like a dumb question, but because all my others work and neither of the 3 foot ones work, it's making me ask if length has something to with it.. THANKS!!
hey Guys!

Is there a way to record one track, and listen to that track as you record another? Is this a routing question or is it even possible to do without a DAW?
Is there away to get more than 32 input channels? Is there an expander that can be utilized?
Would I used the main LR from the m32C and send it as a stereo input to the main board?
Hi,
my church has a Midas m32 console, and 2 s16 stage boxes. We currently have in use the first 16 inputs ( 1-16 )on one s16 and a handful of inputs ( 17-25) on the next s16. We are also using 6 of the outputs ( 1-6 ) on one s16 for IEMs and 2 outputs ( 15-16 ) on the second s16 for our main PA. These are both connected via AES50 A cable. The stage boxes are connected by running a Ethernet cable from AES50 A on the back of the console to the AES50 A port on the first s16, then it is connected to the second s16 by running an Ethernet from AES50 B on the first box to AES50 A on the second s16.
we also have a LABGRUPPEN connected to our m32 console for running overflow speakers to other rooms ( we have these labeled as matrix 1,2,3 ) these are connected to the back of the console on output ports ( 9-13 ) how can I map these stage boxes and local outputs in the routing section of my m32 but also have the ability to control each one of the matrix individually
We're ready to send some more people out for the in-person sessions. https://www.midasconsoles.com/training.html has some June dates marked "Full". It isn't really clear what year these dates are for, either.
I'm looking for the contact person on these trainings, any future dates, maybe how to wait-list our people in case the June slots open up. Thanks!
Does anyone know if there is currently a training course for the m32, I currently run one thru a few production companies but feel i could improve my navigation around the console as well as patching capabilities.
I think it would be great if you could create user layouts on the console, similar to Yamaha QL series. This would be a great advantage to get control of what faders you need on one layer. For example I have a band that has many left and right mics or Di's. I would liKe to place the left on the top surface and have it control the right on the hidden bank.
Hi,
I have a Midas 32R that I'm demoing at a house of worship that is transitioning from a board that has 1/4" outputs. I did not have enough 1/4" female to XLR female adapters so I decided to use the AUX Outputs on the Midas to set up the monitor mixes. I patched MixBus 1-5 respectively to each of the Aux Outputs 1-5 and set the tap point to PreFader + M. I can control the individual channel volume in the mix, however, I cannot control the overall mix volume. Is there are setting that I am missing?
Thanks. I factory reset the mixer. The issue was due to the tap point for the MixBus. The factory reset set the tap point for the MixBus to Post Fader. I now have Master control over the mix.
Hi,
Is there a way to change where the VU-metering picks of in the audio chain ?
ok, the question I got from a tech was, the meters above the faders, are this showing PRE fader, after the whole chain of ' gain - dyn - eq - insert.
