    I have a TFX122M-AN monitor that I returned to Sweetwater for repairs (it had a bad power supply). Sweetwater, which is now the main service point for repairs in the US was very quick about diagnosing the issue, but today sent me this message:

    "I have unfortunate news regarding the part we needed to perform this repair. The part is currently back ordered. Turbosound has not been able to provide us with an ETA yet."

    We are a live music venue, and that monitor is one of our primary monitors, so having no idea when it might get fixed is not very comforting. What good is a 10 year warranty if you can't get parts? It's not like this is an old speaker, it's been in production for years now.

    Don't get me wrong, I love my Turbosound gear and it sounds great and helps us be a better room and all the musicians like how the monitors sound - but the current situation with not being able to tell when new speakers will be available or when parts will be available is just awful. As a user of your equipment, I find this amazingly frustrating and it makes it hard to recommend your products no matter how good they sound.

    Are Music Group still supporting legacy Turbo products?

     

    Made a parts price/avalibility request a couple of weeks ago for a repalcment NuQ12 12" LS1221  So far no response....

    If these are not supprted any more are there any details about the 12" driver avalive or a sugestion for an off the shelf replacment??

    I understand that the LP100hz setting is the crossover point between the sub and the tops but what is "select the desired crossover frequency *For subwoofer systems 50 hz - 150 hz"? Is that for setting the lowest frequency you want the sub to go?

      I believe it is the opposite. You will set the sub crossover to the highest desired frequency. If you're using the mated tops, you would set the crossover frequency to the same setting, and the tops will play down to the lowest frequency desired.

    Hi! I'm pretty new to this tribe, so maybe you guys can help me out here. My setup is 6x the Berlin 123, 8x the NuQ 118B-AN and I want to configure an array for outside somewhere next month. I tried to set it up in EASE, but there are no GLL files availible for the 118B-AN and the Berlin GLL files do not work in EASE 3. Does somebody has a solution. I want to configer the subs in the right way and I'm not certain about setting up an End-fire setup with the Bandpass Subs.

      DavidKnighton Hello Lubtennapel,
      The Berlin files are only licensed for EASE 2. They will not open in any other version of EASE. As for the NuQ118B-AN, we likely never licensed the product for use with EASE because it's not a line array element, rather it's a simple stand alone sub. The Berlin subs are going to be arrayable, and are also going to be a better match with the Berlin tops, so that would be my recommendation.

    I have the Turbosound iX12 speaker. I would like to use my turntable as a source and provide stereo input to the speaker via cables. Are the A and B inputs each mono or stereo? If they are mono, and I use both, will they be treated and left and right channels of a stereo signal?

    Hi, can anyone tell me when Turbosound will have speakers available again in the United States? I am looking at putting together a small outdoor rig and tried contacting Sweetwater but they have no clue as to when speakers will be available again - many other sources say they are out of stock but able to take orders, again with no definitive date of delivery. 

     

    Specifically, I am interested in a pair of TSP152-AN, TSP122-AN, or NuQ152-AN along with a pair of NuQ115-AN subs to use for a small outdoor stage during our times of Covid.

    Any insight as to when speakers might be available again in the US would be helpful.

    Hi I'm experiencing a problem where my Turbosound 1p12 active speaker system has suddenly lost power when using the analog inputs.

    I use to have loads of head room with my mixer master outs very low and the turbosound inputs set to -10. I would typically set the volume on the turbosounds to about -15.  To get a similar output headroom now I need to set the analog inputs to +20 and the volume to over 0. I also get a "No Signal" message when setting the input settings on the Turbosound when clearly there is an input signal. Im not sure whats going on. trying to trouble shoot weather its my mixer by connecting the Turbos directly to my audio interface but it seems very similar.

    Has anyone else had this happen to their Turbosound 1p12b?

      I think you mean the iP12B right? This is the powered sub with satellite outputs correct? It does seem like there could be a power drain somewhere. I would suggest opening a SUPPORT ticket using the tab at the top of the page. Someone from our team will assist to determine if the unit is faulty.
