    hi everybody,

I just added a pair of ST100 to my beloved Legacy Eaton and I am wondering if there is a suggested crossover setup on the supertweeters that can match perfectly with the Eaton. At the moment I am at 18hz and 91 db and I am quite happy but I am not sure this is the best setting......any suggestion will be really appreciated ?.
    thank you.

The amp is a McIntosh MA9000.

pdameno66 the manual of the St200 suggest 14 kHz and 90,5 db but the image seems to be more focused and highs more refined with the crossover frequency at 18 kHz

My Tannoy Reveal 502 speakers constantly make a repeated thump, thump, thump type sound. This occurred when I first installed, so I plugged them into a Furman M-8Dxpower conditioner. That did away with the sound, but now, just a few days later, the sound is back. How can I get rid of this sound?  I have not heard this from speakers from Creative Labs or Yamaha, only the Tannoy.

Hello out there, Big-time newbie here. I just inherited a pair of Tannoy Reveal series speakers and I wonder how I might be able to use them. The are heavy, and have AC cords so I would call them "powered" "studio monitors". The input hardware is what I would call "XLR" with 1/4" phone jack centers.

How can I get the signal from a television to them? Is there an easy way to go from mini headphone jack output into them? And get stereo separation? (I had been going from the headphone jack output to RCA plug cables into a stereo receiver that went out through plain speaker wire to non-powered speakers, but the receiver died.)

    Thank you for your consideration!

I have had a number of Tannoy T12 Hf diaphragms on order and paid for since early summer. I was assured by you that these parts are available so could you please explain why part of my hire stock has sat on the shelf for months now waiting to be put back into service.

Your Uk agent Ampman did not have a delivery date when last contacted and I must say I find this service somewhat disappointing.

    regards Colin Wilson.

ChrisEdwards1 Hi farzadfff, Unfortunately due to the age of this model the parts you are requesting are now either discontinued or obsolete; In this case we would recommend getting in touch with Lockwood Audio.

Lockwood audio have been used by Tannoy for many years for servicing vintage Tannoy and supplying obsolete parts:
      www.lockwoodaudio.co.uk

Alternatively please try the following eBay seller who stocks various old/rare components:

One of my Tannoy self-powered speakers recently "blew", with minimal but audible output and no visible or audible woofer damage and intact amp/speaker connections. Is it worth checking/replacing the internal fuse?
