Hello to anybody who can help:

I've broken the micro usb socket off my flow 8 circuit board by accident and lost it - now the flow 8 is at a repair workshop and they don't know which exact micro usb socket to use that will fit the board. I bought one from an electronics shop assuming there was a standard to the design but apparently not.

Can anyone from behringer find out what the part is? I don't know where else to go from here but I really want that mixer back.

Does the X32 have the following functionalities:

    1. A switchable automatic microphone system, DIGITAL SIGNAL DELAY FIELD system (DSDF). The activation only of the microphones being addressed is automatic and is controlled and monitored by the processor system (DSDF). Unnecessary open microphone channels are closed.

    2. De-Esser to supress "s", "t', "tsch",....

    3. Larsen/Feedback control

    4. Automatic mixing

      Paul_Vannatto Hi Jean-Paul,

      1. No. But you can use the channel's gate to open (turn on) the input signal when the input level reaches a specific level.
      2. Yes. One of the FX is a dual De-Esser and works quite well.
      3. No. To be honest, if the parametric EQ's are setup properly on the channel inputs and the console outputs, feedback control devices are not necessary. When I switched to the X32 (in 2014), I found that my feedback eliminators (that I used with my analog setup) affected the quality of sound. So I learned how to properly ring out the X32 system with the parametric EQ's and got rid of the feedback eliminator units.
      4. Depends on what you consider "automatic mixing". The first 8 channels have Dugan-like automix feature that is typically used for conferences or discussion panels, but is not ideal for musical signals.

Hi - I connected my RCA left right to inputs 7 and 8 on the x air 12.  I have them linked and made sure they are unmuted.  But the music from my phone will only play out of the left speaker.  Any ideas on how to get it play out of both?

I bought the clamp to go with the Flow 8 Mixer and clamp it to a mic stand. Unfortunately the diameter my mic stand doesn't match the diameter needed to fit the Flow 8 Clamp (it requires a pole having 13mm outside diameter). Does anyone know what make/model of mic stand will work well with the Flow 8 clamp?

I could use the end of my telescopic boom which is 11mm and pad it out to 13mm with tape I guess, but I'd rather clamp to the straight-up part of the stand directly if possible. Thanks.

      • Mic stand that will fit the Flow 8 mixer clamp?
JimAvery Thanks. Kam at Andertons (which is where I bought the Flow 8 from) recommended one for me which arrived today and works great with the Flow Clamp.

Hello. I live in Uruguay and the local official representative don' have the spare part for a power supply for a Behringer Xenix UFX1604 mixer/USB interface (serial number: S1400053AB3). I openned a ticket here in Music Tribe but won't get an answer.

Can anybody tell me where could I get the spare part, in some other place (with international shipping, no matter the cost)?

subiraudio I think this guy is the guilty, since the part is covered in the bottom side with an plastic acetate, and it has like a black smoked spot, as if something burned there, right in the place where this chip is set.

I have an XR18 mixer and copied on channel to another. After I did this, no audio is coming from the channels. How can I fix this?

Paul_Vannatto It could be a number of things. The best way to troubleshoot is to use X-Air Edit and save to a scene file. Then upload to the cloud (eg. Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.) and provide a shareable link in your reply. That way we can have a look at your setup and better advise.

Are there any plans to have a desktop app for the Flow mixer (OSX, Windows)? Decided to do some recording with the flow today (since it has sat in a peli case for 6 weeks from new not getting used as the pre / post send issue hasnt been resolved yet so is of no use to me live yet), and find it very restricting whilst working on Logic to have to also use my phone to adjust inputs etc etc. a desktop app next to logic would be invaluable when recording (probably the same for streaming etc as well)

    Firmware Update from USB Stick:

    1. Download any future FW updates from and store them on a FAT formatted USB stick.
    2. Connect the USB stick to the top panel USB port of WING.
    3. Open the SETUP/GENERAL page and tap on the UPDATE icon on the left of the screen.
    4. A file browser will appear on the screen, and you can navigate to where the FW update is located.
    5. Select the correct FW update file and tap on UPDATE.
    6. After installing the update is completed, you will be prompted to reboot the console.
    7. The console can be rebooted by power cycling, or by selecting SETUP/SHUTDOWN and holding the SETUP button while pressing the HOME button.
    8. Verify the update was successful by comparing the firmware version on the left of the SETUP/ GENERAL screen.

Alternative Update Process without USB Stick:

    1. If you don’t have a USB stick at hand, connect a USB cable to the rear panel USB port and to your computer.
    2. Either hold the blank button on the main display during power-up or open the SETUP/GENERAL Edit page in order to enable WING OS.
    3. A drive icon will appear on your computer, like connecting a flash drive or an external hard drive. Double click the drive to open.
    4. Extract the firmware zip file and drag/copy the new firmware file into the WING OS drive.
    5. After copying is completed, please eject the WING OS drive from your computer.
    6. WING should reboot automatically a few seconds after ejecting the drive. If it doesn’t, please power cycle the console, and verify the correct firmware version on the left of the SETUP/GENERAL screen.

Note, WING will always boot using the most recent firmware in the OS drive. However, it is recommended to delete older firmware files or move them to a subfolder.

Hello to this crazy industry, I am new to the sound board side of things. I have been blessed with the priveledge to trouble shoot our issue with the Behringer x32. The x32 looses all its control functions as if it is locked. I can move all the controls, but nothing happens to the audio...literally lose all controls. While we still have all the audio coming out of the speakers. I have tried to do the lock/unlock procedure that I have found on line. Please let me know if there is a certain way, just in case all the ways I saw it happen to be incorrect. It stays lit up the whole time. I just can't control anything.

Paul_Vannatto Can you control it using X32-Edit or one of the tablet apps?

      • X32 looses controls in the middle of a show.
MAGToeKnee6 Good evening, I tried to respond to you, but it looks like it never went through. I know that the other person that I’m working on this with, has an app on his phone that he can control things with, but it still wouldn’t change the levels of any sound. I believe that we should solve the issue with firmware updates. I found that it is sitting at 2.10. So I think it would be wise to try that first.

Paul_Vannatto Yes, I would suggest that you update the firmware (currently at 4.06). Make sure you backup any scenes, snippets and/or library presets (by exporting them using the Utility button and a USB stick) before updating the firmware. Firmware 2.10 is quite old.

At a slight loss as to why phone has stopped detecting and pairing to the Flow 8. Soundman down ill so opted to use the Flow 8 to allow me to remote mix.

I had everything functioning and paired to phone on the Saturday afternoon, come Sunday morning it refused to pair downright and was rejecting in just a few seconds. No change to software or settings that i can work out on my phone between the Saturday and Sunday.

I've subsequently paired and app controlled to an older phone so I know that the mixer can do the bluetooth link.

I've also done a factor reset on the mixer and old phone connects fine, new phone still refusing.

On the phone that is no longer pairing

    - I've cleared all bluetooth settings and cache

    - Uninstalled and re-installed the app (and rebooted the phone between uninstall and re-install)

[Phone in question Xiaomi Mi10T lite]

I'm really appreciating the Flow 8's flexibility however now very concerned that whilst I've got a conection to a different phone that will then just stop with no warning and leave me high and dry.

As stated I'm at a loss as to why app functioned on Saturday and then failed entriely on Sunday

Suggestions or thoughts welcome as keen to get it operating again on my primary phone to restor my confidence in the system

CVC15 Gad = it took me about 10 tries, to get mine to work. Once I got it to work, it works like a champ now and connects perfectly everytime I open the FLOW app on my iPhone.

I just kept going through the blue tooth set up instructions over and over and over and over, 'til it finally connected. I don't know what specifically I did except get frustrated and keep trying.

I was also able to connect a second older iPhone just for music via bluetooth which I thought was pretty cool.
