    Hi.
I've been referred here from your facebook page.
My bass player has an old BH500 head and something has started rattling around inside. It just sounds like something is working loose. It works OK at present but it worries me!
Can anyone guide me on removing the chassis from the case to have a look? I don't know whether it's just fixed by the 4 screws or if anything else has to be removed. It seems very firmly fixed! This might stop him from throwing it in the skip!

Thanks for any help anyone can give

    Hi

Can I somehow save parameter in board after tweaking hot knob? E.g. when I set tempo in delay and change board and change it back, the tempo is different. I can only save tempo when tapping on swicht, but not with hot knob.

PedroRodrigues Hi AdamKeler, please consider that the Hot Knobz will allow you to you assign each of the 3 black knobs on Plethora X5 to simultaneously control any or all pedal parameters on your BOARD, for real-time tweaking in PLAY mode.
This is a BOARD level setting and can be found at SETTINGS > BOARD > HOT KNOBZ
      Thank you

    Hi,

I'm hugely  satisfied with my Alter Ego 4x4.  For my 60's music I mainly use Binson Echorec2 setting with bit of spring-reverb on my AC30 for live use.  For home recording I use Binson EC2 / Copycat in stereo mode and some spring reverb on mixing table.   Both sounds are irresistable :-)

For a lot of instrumentals this setting will do perfectly. However- to meet my perfectionism in The Shadows  sounds -

I'd like to know if the Toneprint -app provides a delay setting based on the VOX LongTom echobox

This would make the AlterEgo even more valuable.

    Make my Day.

    regards, Jeroen

PedroRodrigues Hi jevries unfortunately we do not have a Toneprint based on the VOX Long Tom echo box but maybe the Toneprints for the Flashback delay or the Toneprints for the ALTER EGO X4 VINTAGE ECHO may reveal to be a great tool. This last one was built as a tribute to the classic Binson Echorec to a salute to the sweet Roland Space Echo, an amazing Echoplex sound and of course a custom version of TC ELECTRONIC's own 2290, ALTER EGO X4 Vintage Echo takes you on a trip through the sweetest delay sounds ever. Lo-fi, Hi-fi, Tape, Analog and pristine digital delays. I hope this is a good suggestion. Thank you

Is the TC Crescendo good for the guitar effects in Dreams by Fleetwwod Mac?

PedroRodrigues Thank you for your contact, please consider that it was used a set of Leslie .
The slow rotation creates a kind of chorus effect.
I would suggest using a studio reverb added, called a plate reverb.
The main thing that makes it sound weird is the volume swell, which can sometimes be done with a volume pedal.
When you strike the strings, it drops the volume instantly to zero, and then it swells in from there and you will not need your foot on the pedal all the time, it automatically swells in from nothing each time you pick. I hope this helps

    Hello,

the Flashback 2 has the same modulation engine as the Corona Chorus pedal. There are several chorus Toneprint templates available for the FB2, which I like.

But I want to use some of the Corona Toneprints, as well. How can I access them without having a Corona pedal? It would even be ok (but tedious), to have the option to at least open the Corona toneprints in edit mode to see the settings. Then I could build similar toneprints for the FB2.

I mean, TC Electronic specifically created chorus toneprints to match the old SCF Chorus for example, why can't Flashback users not at least take a look at their settings?

PedroRodrigues Hi msdf thank you for your comments, please consider that you can use cross different Toneprints with other Pedals, please check the Toneprint App to access what Toneprints you can load on the pedal you which to use. Regarding your last suggestion I will forward this matter to our Team. Thank you

Hi there! I purchased two very lovley pedals (tuner and compressor) and now I want to use the quick mount system to put them on my rockboard. You can do this by replacing the original screws and screw it on the quick mount. Does somebody know, what type of screws are used, so I can buy some new ones slightly larger?

    Thank you from Germany!

    Hi Fam.

I bought a Flashback 2 with the aim of mono input, external tap, and stereo out.

I've been trying to play with the settings and can't seem to set it up this way.

The goal was for this stereo output to go into a hof2 stereo verb, but I'm not winning this one.

    Any tips, suggestions etc?

    Cheers all

      TC-Marcus Howdy!
According to the manual https://www.tcelectronic.com/product.html?modelCode=P0CKR "Documentation -> Manual" this is not possible, see the attached crop out.

You can, however, switch the behavior of the footswitch from being MASH to being tap tempo, thus sacrificing MASH functionality, of course. Check this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FCHVsmpxYJc. At around 3.00 the mono/stereo output stuff is explained too. Using the built in tap tempo, you can have tap tempo and stereo out.
Read the video description for an explanation on how to do the FWupdate

You also need the latest TonePrint app which can be found here https://www.tcelectronic.com/tonePrints.html

Let me know how it turns out!

Shamusotoole Thanks for that. I had read that but wasn’t sure if there may have been another firmware release that enabled this. I have multiple tap delays and need the external tap to sync them.

Anyone else found a work around?

      • TC Electronics Flashback 2 - external tap + Stereo out?
TC-Marcus There is no workaround, as stated in the manual, other than using the built in tap tempo, sorry.

      • TC Electronics Flashback 2 - external tap + Stereo out?
Shamusotoole Just curious - is this something that's possible in a future firmware update? mono in, stereo out with external tap.

remork +1 for this on a possible future firmware update!

i'm using a dual amp setup, and ideally i'd want:
      - dry+quarter notes in one amp, dry+dotted eights in the other, (so mono in stereo out.)
      - external tap tempo, to sync from a Boss ES-5. that would sync to preset tempos, and still allow me to use the Mash functionality.

i noticed turning on external tap tempo basically removes the dry signal from the right channel. i tried running the tap tempo on the ring and using the tip for the same audio as the L input - that gives me back my dry signal in bypass, but still removes the dry when active.

i have it set up for this mono to stereo mode with internal tap tempo for now - the stereo spread is more important to me than the delay following preset tempo - but that makes me lose MASH, which is a bummer. right now it seems the only way to get what i want is using a second delay pedal - or a much larger, midi controlled one.

Since the tip of the R input is unused in tap tempo mode, i can only hope it can be enabled in a future version - or at least mix in the dry L signal in the R output? that would make this one of the most versatile compact pedals ever :)

    Hi,

my RH450 has a noisy fan since a few weeks. I opened the case to check but everything is clean, so it's not a dirt issue.

Any idea of something I can do ?

I am very happy with my new pedals HOF and Flashback! I did though have some problems creating my personal templates. I succeesfully managed editing, storing and loading my templates for both HOF and Flashback, but having finished this job and disconnecting the pedals from my comouter the sounds I recalled was very different from what I expected. I tried to redo the operation several times with the same result: The effect levels, delay times, modulations ect. sounded much more intensive and way beyond what expected. Q no 1: Am I right that the actual setting of the pedal knops overide the parameter levels stored in the template? I think I found a solution: I found out that the parameter curves of the templates all very quite steep and I tried to tune the parameter curves to be allmost flattened having my idea of the optimal level effect in position 12. o´clock on the knops and I then set the lowest value just a little lower, the highest value just a little above. The result is a curve allmost flattened with just a slight slope. I then secured that these parameter curves is allmost identical in the 3 stored toneprint templates in each pedal. This seems to work so I can switch between the toneprints without any surpricing sounds but I am wondering: Q no 2: Is my understanding of the function of the pedals correct and Q no 3: Is my solution to handle this the right way to do it?
    best regards Soren, Denmark

PedroRodrigues Hi SørenHolm than you for your contact, please consider that form your explanation it seems that your understanding of the pedals and respective description are in correlation with the correct usage of TONEPRINT APP and the Pedal but of course this is all conditioned by the settings you have set up on your TONEPRINT App.
