Hi, I'd like to know if there's a way of switching the Local On/Off and Multi Trigger from the synth itself, without using the software.

I know the Model D has some options by pressing certain keys while powering on the module. Anything like this on the Poly D?

I have recently bought a behringer vc340 and, though I am happy with the regular midi and the synth itself, I have had a crippling problem with the USB midi. While using the synth as a USB midi controller for Logic Pro X 10.6.0, particularly while playing chords, I will have random sustained notes that won't go away. after some research I thought that it might be a problem with logic, as I have seen people have problems with logic adding a sustain pedal effect to some notes randomly for some users, however, on further inspection I have found that the actual cause of the noise is a genuine sustained note, meaning that either the synth, the synthtribe software, or logic itself (though I haven't seen anyone mention this specific problem for logic) is randomly sending my generally staccato notes as held notes- specifically held indefinetely until and action such as restarting the midi or playing/pausing the project sends the note. Due to the fact that both the regular midi and the internal synth work without this problem I can only conclude that either logic or the synthtribe software is causing this issue. If anyone could help me I would be very greatful as one of the major reasons I bought this synth was to have a dedicated USB midi controller.

I tried changing note priority using the synthtribe app but is doesn't seem to have any effect? Seems like it's stuck in Low and I want Last.

    Hey gang,

I just got a behringer neutron synthesizer.  I have connected the output  to an amp, connected my midi keyboard to the midi input jack on the front panel, I have set the midi channel to 1 (all switches down) and set my midi keyboard to channel 1. I have set the miditrigger and keyboard sync buttons on.  I have configured oscillators to 8, I have no patch cables connected but my understanding is that the neutron standard routing should allow some sound out.

I don't think Ext Clk In for Sample & Hold is working on my unit. I tried sending clock from a Moog Matriarch and when I switch AR ENV GEN to be triggered by the S/H Clock it never triggers the AR ENV GEN. Using the same clock source I'm able to sync a Moog DFAM. Also, using the same clock source I'm able to directly trigger the AR ENV GEN by plugging the clock source from the Moog Matriarch directly into the AR ENV GEN S/H Clock. Also, I noticed on the product page for the 2600 on Behringers web site there is a a software download called SYNTHTRIBE. What does this utility do for the 2600?

    Hi,

It would be interesting for the users to have a more detailled view on the firmware versioning of the Crave : the different firmwares and release notes (not only the last one), shown online and in Synthtribe.

As the documentation on the CRAVE is limited, it would be valuable information for the users.

And as differents users asked and required, is a new firmware planed to solve minor bugs and add parameters options (especially for the sequencer part) ?

Hello. Very new here, please be gentle.

On the Crave, when switching from one saved pattern to another, as in a live performance setting, when I switch to the new saved pattern, the Swing setting always starts/resets to 4 or 5 "lights". What have I done wrong? I don't want to switch patterns from something with no swing, to a new pattern and have to adjust the swing while performing. A live performance just won't work with that kind of rhythm change.

I must be not making a setting correctly? Does anyone have advice, please?

      DavidKnighton Hello frequencysf,
It's probable that the pattern was created with the swing setting in place, therefore any time you switch back to that pattern, the swing is present. Try creating a pattern with the swing setting turned all the way down and then switch back and forth to see if that's the case. Also, make sure the firmware is up to date before getting too far ahead of yourself.

Thank you @DavidKnighton! With your advice I think I was able to figure this out!

JeanJean Hi frequencysf ; as explained in the manual, the swing amount is bipolar : with the button at 12 oclock, 4 or 5 "lights" as you said, there is no swing. And this is the default setting, that's why you have this behavior each time you create a new sequence. With less "lights", button counterclockwise, you add swing and with more "lights", button clockwise, you add swing too

      • Crave - Default Swing setting?
JeanJean In fact, the swing behaviour is different from what is described in the manual....There is no swing when the button is fully counterclockwise, so the swing function is not bipolar. So, as you said, when you create a new sequence there is automatically swing on it (instead of being neutral). That's indeed a bug

I might have missed this in any of the firmware updates for the Crave, but would it be possible to add controls for playback direction of the sequencer? I can't find documentation on firmware updates.

I'm referencing the M32 here, but it would be incredible to be able to play forwards, backwards, pendulum, ping pong and especially random steps from a sequence!

Such an awesome synth to integrate with your modular, random step playback would be godlike.

PedroRodrigues Hi trident, thank you for your contact, please consider that the management of all the shipping process is done directly by the Partner in the Region. With that in mind I would suggest to contacting the Partner where you have acquired this unit to request information on the 2600 Blue Marvel arrival status. Thank you
