    Issue with TC1210-DT (request to re-install) | Multi-Effects Processors

    Hello, I have a TC1210-DT for 1 year, working fine with Reason 11.

    It needs to be physically conneted from time to time for the VST to work, no problem with that.

    But yesterday, Reason refused to activate the VST, removed it from my rack, and requested to reinstall it completely (including the Ilok process : account, code, etc.).

    I followed the install process (but haven't found any Ilok code in my original order) so ...

    1. Is the problem linked to iLok and why would that happen one year later, randomly  ?

    2. I followed the excact TC process to install (leaving the files in the suggested by TC folders), then tried to change the file to put them in my VST folders. But nothing does. The 1210 module stay off and is not recognized, and the VST doesn't show in the rack anymore.

    This is a serious problem. Because I have shows and TV shows to do and I need my unit. The service location you quoted I already spoke to them they are the ones that said it can take 14 to 16 WEEKS to get a part. 
     
    I'm asking that someone escalate/ expedite my issue as was done in the past (for me getting Urgent Attention.) The Voice live 3 Extreme is a staple to my setup.  
     
    That long of a wait is totally unacceptable!!! I'm sure you can understand. Please escalate this to the next level to intervene and advise what can be done... (perhaps TC-Helicon can provide a loaner unit, Or I can ship my unit directly to you. Please advise ASAP!

      soundmandan Hi Al, Apologies for the delay. Musictribe have recently changed over to a new system to improve response time. Now, when you reply to a case email, it is alerted more transparently to the correct team and they will endeavour to respond to/resolve your issue as soon as possible.

    Reverb 4000 software 1.11 | Delays / Reverbs

    Hi!

    I recently bought a Reverb 4000 v 1.03 and would like to update it to 1.11. Could you please put the software up on your tc electronic download page? Everything else is there, except version 1.11

      Please be aware that to be able to upgrade your unit you will need to do the following:
      • Rename the file to “dumpfile.bin”
      • Place the file in the folder: “My Documents”
      • Then press the “Dump Binary File To Card” key

      To load the Software to a Reverb 4000 from the PCMCIA card:
      • Power off the Reverb 4000
      • Power on while holding the I/O key pressed.
      • Select “LOAD PCMCIA” and press ENTER
      • Select “START” and press ENTER
      Grab Binary File From Card This function is used to grab a binary file from an inserted PCMCIA card. The file will be placed in your My Documents folder.
      Be aware that in case the file you are grabbing has the same name as a .bin file already placed in the “My Documents” folder the previous file will be deleted.

    Hi there, I just purchased a Flashback 2 mini and I'm trying to create a toneprint where the tap tempo is set to eighth notes. How do I do this?

      TC-Mike you set the "Sub-division up" parameter for to "8th" notes in the TonePrint app and then store the TP to pedal. Now your Tap tempo values (quarter notes) are quantized to 8th note delay times. Alternativly, you can also map the Sub-div up parameter to one of the potentiometers, so you can select which Sub divisions are active

      WilliamR The harmony singer 2 uses the chords on the guitar to create accurate Diatonic harmonies based on the chords and key you are in. So the harmonies will work but it may miss the occasional minor third or major third harmony if there is no chord information present. As far as mics go they will both work just the same, it all comes down to personal preference. I like the Sennheiser personally.

    I have an Alter Ego X4 with a Subdivision selector Switch that will not move. I would like to get either a replacement switch or possibly the board it is attached to (Includes the Time and Feedback pots).

      I will say I am not happy that I cannot acquire replacement parts and do this myself. This is a pedal that is long out of warranty and the company I purchased it from has long gone out of business.

      djtetei If you're running under Windows, be sure to check the sample rate setting on cakewalk and OS. Take into account not enabling other applications to take full control over the system. Ensure the latest Behringer drivers for windows are properly installed.

      As DJTeTei stated above, ensure your sample rate settings for the DAW and UMC match, and that you don't have exclusive mode on if you are running other software.

    Hall of Fame 2 Mini FACTORY toneprint lost | Delays / Reverbs

    I recently bought a brand new hall of fame 2 mini and really liked the default factory setup, it was some kind of a Hall Reverb with a Shimmer associated to the MASH function that was lovely.

    I decided to try some toneprints with the application but at the end I decided to go back to the default configuration so I loaded the "Default" toneprint, my surprise was that this was not even near to the factory setup, even the Mash function did nothing, I tryed also Toneprint 1 & 2 setups but again this is not the setup that came with my unit from factory.

    Have any of you experienced the same? Any help to recover the factory setup?
