Hi, simple question - i use 204hd on my home computer wich is always running 24/7. Since 204hd doesn't have on/off switch should i unplug in from the usb when not in use or just leave it on ?
If i unplug it every night i am afraid the usb port can wear out. But if it's always running maybe the same is valid for the electronics inside ?

The main difference between playing a guitar with a finger and a peak is in performing the techniques. To play with the courier, fingers are used only to hold the courier while playing with the finger directly engages your fingers. In finger play, four fingers are actually used for playing.

Given that fingers create more instruments for your playing, some techniques are only applicable with the fingers and are very hard on the spikes. For example, songs that combine chord melodies can be played with multiple fingers simultaneously, but in some cases they are even impossible to pick up. These pieces are mostly performed on classical guitar playing and require multiple strings to be played simultaneously using the fingers. So classical guitar style is played with only one finger. Many flamenco style songs that are taught in flamenco guitar training also have different fingerprint techniques, such as some of the techniques performed with the thumb or using a few fingers.

Creative I have a Creative Labs SoundBlaster X-7 (newest external soundcard ) hooked in to my computer that I am running into a Denon receiver 5802 so I can use my M&K speaker system. How can I run my Voice live 3 extreme into the soundcard? It has rca jacks in and out on the back of the X-7. The only thing I am seeing on the output of the VL3 is guitar (which I don't use) and the XLR's. Can I run XLR to rca cable (if they make one at all) to the soundcard.? Is there something I am missing or overseeing.

I know the VL3 can play through the computer via USB but the reason I want to run it through the sound card is because the soundcard has crystal voice sound and surround and equalizer and a lot more things than the voice live 3.

    Thank you

    Jaye

Or My switch 6 sticks such that harmony moment “on” carries over to the next preset whihout me clicking the switch.  This is a consistent problem that happens with all the presets in my set list and occurs whether or not I assign a different switch number.   Any ideas?

Desde su fundación, hace mucho tiempo, este grupo ha contado con el soporte y la presencia de miembros con idiomas nativos distintos al Español.

Since its foundation, a long time ago, this group has had the support and presence of members with native languages other than Spanish.

Time for this app to get its own thread.
Ver 0.14 has been posted on my website, along with a little documentation: https://sites.google.com/site/patrickmaillot/x32#TOC-X32Midi2OSC

As you may guess, it enables to control X32 OSC from MIDI commands. Just about any MIDI command to about any (string excluded) OSC messages, single or multiple parameters. A configuration text file (.m2o extension) sets the commands to intercept, An in-line calculator enables modifying MIDI data to set float of int OAS parameters.

    Hope this helps,

I assume that this is one way communication only. Midi device to computer to X32.

Will this run on Raspberry Pi or something like that.

      Kevin,

      Yes MIDI (in, thru)->OSC (X32).

X32Commander enables the other direction OSC->OSC/MIDI.

I haven't done a command-line version that would compile for Linux/Rpi; I don't know what MIDI functions are available for this Rpi platforms.

I was wondering if one of these small devices like a Raspberry Pi. with you programs could be used to interface with the X-Touch Compact (XTC) and the X32 or X Air mixers.

The issue with the X-Touch Compact is due to the limitations of the Midi implementation in these mixers. So if there was a device that could be inserted between an XTC Midi in and out and the Ethernet (OSC) of one of the X32 or X Air mixers this would greatly enhance what could be done with an XTC.

During a live theatre/musical set i have 16 mics headset mics in use.

I need to send each mic to FX buss 14 for a vocal reverb. This i can do, but the issue i have is that not all Mics are in use at once. Whilst some are in use on stage, others are being worn in the dressing room during quick costume changes. The performers who are not on stage have there mics muted but the sound from those mics can still be heard through the effects returns.

I have the sends set to post fader, but this does not appear to have any effect.

The issue is further compounded by the mic channels are also sent to Delay FX and chorus FX, so when muted all this sound is returning thru reverb, delay and chorus returns, this makes the whole process unusable.

    What am i doing wrong?

    Please help!

I've had my new UMC 1820 a couple of days, and after the initial excitement of everything seemingly working well, I finally set all my hardware and laptop up today.

Time to put the amazing low latency to the test. Using Reaper 32 bit in Win 10, I found a few issues :

It doesn't work in my USB 3 ports

In the USB 2 port, although Reaper runs my plugins at well below 10% CPU usage, there is a regular click which only goes away if I adjust settings to compensate, resulting in latency of a minimum of 10ms. This is ridiculous, it is performing slightly worse than my 10 year old, USB 1 Line 6 interface!!!

Other Behringer interfaces in this series have a firmware update available, which allows use through the USB 3 ports. Why isn't this available for the 1820?

Hopefully I'll get a quick reply, otherwise this is being returned, and replaced by another brand

    Disappointed

IainEvans Sent it back today. It barely outperformed my old line 6 GX. Out of curiosity, I ran ASIO4ALL through my laptop's Realtek HD audio card and it worked better with VSTs than the UMC 1820.

I guess I'll have to wait until the market discovers USB 3!! The Presonus Studio 192 currently looks to be pointless as far as latency goes... The best interface I've tried is the Zoom UAC 8 but I returned it because one of the channels failed after a few months.

Shame, it was a great interface.

Cmon Behringer, let's have a proper USB 3 device... You can do it!!

MichaelMaeurer Did you do audio optimizations? At least set your computer to "full performance" in the energy settings? This may have helped... but there can also be non-conformant USB chipsets in the market.

MarkSwanson I have latency issues with mine as well. Using it with a midi instrument is very bad, I certainly hope it will deliver better performance.
