Hi there,
can someone please tell me were can i buy a pair of plinths for a pair of tannoys dc10t?
Best regards
Bruno
I am interested in a pair of Tannoy XTF8 speakers. I have no XTF6 speakers in the area but there are some 8's about 40 miles from me. Before I make the drive, I have read a few reviews where it states one must have a fair amount of room for these to sound their best. My room is about 216 or so square feet, roughly 14.5 feet wide and about 15 feet deep with 12 foot ceilings. Any one out there with an idea if these would work and I should make the drive to get them? I am sure I can demo them inmy home but frankly, with the traffic conditions here, I would prefer to do as little driving as possible.
Thanks for the help.
Robert
Perhaps I need to rephrase my question. I need to know or hear from anyone using the Tannoy XTF8 speakers and the size of the room in which those speakers are being used. I do not want to overload my room with bass so when reviewers and others say that the XTF8 needs a "good sized room", what are some examples of a "good sized room"?
Thanks...

Hey folks,
I own the MS40 monitors that have built in DAC. The manual says it is >24bit 192kHz.
My question is how does it go about handling digital feed, example Lpcm or RAW audio via optical?
Does the built in DAC upsample any digital signal to 24/192 for analogue or does it decode/convert the digital signal to match the fed sample rate?
Thanks!
Chris
want to purchase a used model. How can I determine if it's a V2
serial#
is attached
Hi Ross,
Welcome to the community. The "S1803" at the beginning of the SN means March 2018. You'd need to figure out the cutover date to determine if it's a V1 vs. V2.
EDIT: Based on Amazon "first listed date" of December 3, 2015 for the V1 and January 9, 2019 for V2 I suspect that's a V1. Certainly not scientific by any means. I'd probably reach out to Turbosound to confirm the SN you have.
Hope this helps,
Ken
Thanks for your very thorough response. I've been trying to get a hold of someone at Turbosound but I can't seem to locate any email or number.
Hi Ross,
The onnly way to reach any Music Tribe company these days is via the CARE portal. You'll have to create an account and open a ticket. You should get an auto-reply telling you someone will contact you within one business day. Be patient as that's more like a week these days.

If you are in the US, you might also want to give Sweetwater a call. They may be able to tell you the V2 "release date" which would be more definitive.
Hope this helps,
Ken
Just joined and so far this sucks. Bought a Behringer mixer after review of add showing software avaliable. Downloaded what I found and got was nothing more than public domain software. Audacity. This is not the software used in the web site demo.
Anyone have a clue whre I can get what was advertisedin web promo?
This really sucks. Software should have come with product. Downloads require too much personal info. I did it and the download is NOT what was shown on demo.

That is an old video actually. The person in that video hasn't been with the company for at least 2 years. Many things have changed since then, including Tracktion (which he mentioned). It is now called Waveform which is available (version 7 is free) here. By the way, even the X32 and new Wing does not come with DAW software. Also, for the record, the Q802USB does not provide true multi-tracking signals. It only has stereo (2 track) bidirectional via USB.
Thanks for reply. Do you know if i can record stereo to pc using USB out on mixer? Would I be able to adjust audio going over USB with mixer or is it fixed at one setting? I am only looking to record a left and right channel.
I purchased this new, but been in storage and have lost owners manual. How can I get a manual. My primary question is "does it have a cross-over or filter/do I send it a full spectrum audio signal?
20200324_131102.jpgI'm having some problems with my Tannoy Lifebuds. Like the sound quality but the left bud was choppy (sounded like I was going through a tunnel as it would frequently drop connection) and one day the buds simply stopped pairing with one another so I'm only able to listen to one of them at a time. Have tried re-pairing with my phone as in the manual multiple times to no avail. Please help.
Hi I want to connect an old analog record deck to my bluetooth speakers (i know that this is an offensive idea to purists). The record deck has a DIN output and I guess I will need to get a bluetooth transmitter capable of pairing with the speakers. But what is the best sort of amp/prepamp that IO should get to sit in-between.
Hi Folks,
Just a simple query .... Can anyone please tell me what "B/Eye" means in the above title. It's bugging me and I cannot find anything about it on Google!
Many thanks
Hey, the company where I just started has a policy of not updating the firmware on the x32 Behringer Soundboard, thus I'm looking for the x32 Edit Version 2.0 Software, which I believe is compatible with the 2.04 Firmware.
The issue is that I can't seem to locate it anywhere. Not on their official downloads page or through a Google search. Does anyone know where I might be able to obtain it? Thank you very much.
