    I have a 5.1.4 system with Tannoy XT8F (FL/FR), Tannoy Decision 6T SE (SL/SR), 4x Tannoy XT6 as heights and an arendal sub2.

The center is a way too small center - it might be useful in small rooms with small sized bookshelf speakers, but absolutely undersized with the XT8F speakers. So i am looking for something that sounds good in combination with the Tannoy XT8F. Can anyone recommend something?

I'm trying to set up my new equalizer but have discovered that the RCA inputs are a little too wide for the plugs! Which means that the plugs slip out of the inputs. Should I return it, or is there a remedy?

      Hi Gary ( @Ratnaguna ),

Welcome to the community. This is usually caused by a worn out cable not the input jacks themselves.  Can you take a picture of the plugs and jacks so we can have a look?

When this happens to me , I take a pair of needle nose pliers or a pair of small wir cutters and put a slight kink/bend in the RCA plugs outer shell in order to get a tight fit.  The RCA plugs center pin usually fits tight enough to not bother with.

Hey all! New to this, please be patient.

I Just purchased a pre-owned VLTouch2. When I received it all of the presets have been erased and I’m wondering if there is a way to restore these? Are they downloadable once I have the unit up to my computer for updates? Any tips or tricks would be appreciated I am new to this piece of wonderfulness and my hands

      Hey @DblMoonChild,
Welcome to the fold!  You can use our free VoiceSupport 2 software to update your Touch 2, manage presets, and download new presets from our Cloud library.  To restore factory presets, all you need to do is use VoiceSupport to "delete" whichever preset(s) you're trying to restore, and the factory presets will repopulate themselves.  That is to say, the first 200 preset slots can never be empty, they either contain their respective factory preset, or they can be overwritten with user presets, and deleting those edited user presets will restore the slot back to its factory preset.  Experiment lots, store your own edited presets, and also check out the additional presets you can download from VoiceSupport.  Cheers!

    Hello,

I recently bought the Behringer UM204 to connect my guitar. And it works great!
Besides that, the interface is placed on my Home Theater PC and connected to my Denon AVR via TS (Behringer's main Outputs) to RCA cable like down below to listen to FLAC music.

Is this connection right? or should I use the Monitor outputs on the back of Behringer?

I am asking this because the AVR is not working till last night, And the usual suspect looks like UM204.indir (1).jpg

    Best regards,

Hello Sadas, welcome to the community.

You could connect to the Playback RCA outputs but they are uncontrolled feeds from USB playback. The Main Out signal is controlled by the Mix and Main Out knobs so is more useful if you want to hear a mix of playback and your guitar input.

      Thanks for your warm welcome.

I do want to use the Main outputs of the UMC204 that's why I bought the cable on the picture. I am not a sound device expert, actually, it is my first audio interface that I have.

My question is, is it ok to use TS to RCA cable on TRS output? It looks like working but TS cable shorts the R and S pins of the output.

I have 2 Behringer MX882 Ultra Link Pro mixer splitters and the audio level LED display lights up to 0db on all channels with no audio input.  Slight hum audible in the audio output channels when audio is present. Need schematic of at least the power supply section.

Ive tried everyway possible to a) contact Behringer directly, b) contact anyone who might have a similar problem, c) contact anyone who can supply repair parts for Behringer products

All I get for my efforts is a total run around.  I have opened 5 support tickets but the
Care Portal shows all of them as "problem solved"  I have never even come close to a solution nor received any feed back from anyone from the Music Tribe forums.  Does anyone really ever get help on this site?

Right now it looks like I need a power transfromer for my Behringer MX822 but havent a clue as to how I would get one via the Music Tribe or the Behringer support web site.

If you let us know the Care ticket numbers, Clif, I'm sure Alex will be able to find-out why they were closed without your problem being resolved.

      Found the problem!

the 2 units Ihave were wired for 220V operation but had a US 120V plug installed.

I rewired the power transformer for 120V operation and the LEDs acted normal.

The issue was that the circuitry wasonly getting 10V DC to the circuit boards, not evenclose to the 18V it needed for the regulators to work.

If you have my problem, read the units top cover and see what voltage it was made for.

Just inhereted a nice pair of Revolution XT 8F's. There are no signs of the floor spikes or protectors anywhere. Where can I purchase a replacement set of said floor spikes as the speakers seem a bit unstable without them.

I'm located in Scotland in the UK

    Thanks in advance

i´m searching for a product like the HA4700, but much smaller...i only need one stereo jack input, a headphone output, a pan pot plus a mono switch...

i need it for the drummer, who gets the playalong files with the band panned to the left and the metronome to the right...so he can make his own mono mix...is there a smaller unit to make this possible...?

    thanks!

I am interested in a pair of Tannoy XTF8 speakers. I have no XTF6 speakers in the area but there are some 8's about 40 miles from me. Before I make the drive, I have read a few reviews where it states one must have a fair amount of room for these to sound their best. My room is about 216 or so square feet, roughly 14.5 feet wide and about 15 feet deep with 12 foot ceilings. Any one out there with an idea if these would work and I should make the drive to get them? I am sure I can demo them inmy home but frankly, with the traffic conditions here, I would prefer to do as little driving as possible.

    Thanks for the help.

Perhaps I need to rephrase my question. I need to know or hear from anyone using the Tannoy XTF8 speakers and the size of the room in which those speakers are being used. I do not want to overload my room with bass so when reviewers and others say that the XTF8 needs a "good sized room", what are some examples of a "good sized room"?

      Thanks...

    Hey folks,

I own the  MS40 monitors that have built in DAC. The manual says it is >24bit 192kHz.

My question is how does it go about handling digital feed, example Lpcm or RAW audio via optical?

Does the built in DAC upsample any digital signal to 24/192 for analogue or does it decode/convert the digital signal to match the fed sample rate?

    Thanks!

The monitors accept standard SPDIF LPCM digital audio at whatever sample rate/bit depth you send to them. The DAC will simply just convert these signals directly to analogue to drive the onboard amps. No clever DSP involved.
