      Hi Ross,

Welcome to the community.  The "S1803" at the beginning of the SN means March 2018.  You'd need to figure out the cutover date to determine if it's a V1 vs. V2.

EDIT: Based on Amazon "first listed date" of December 3, 2015 for the V1 and January 9, 2019 for V2 I suspect that's a V1.  Certainly not scientific by any means. I'd probably reach out to Turbosound to confirm the SN you have.

      Hope this helps,

      Ken

Thanks for your very thorough response. I've been trying to get a hold of someone at Turbosound but I can't seem to locate any email or number.

      Hi Ross,

The onnly way to reach any Music Tribe company these days is via the CARE portal.  You'll have to create an account and open a ticket.  You should get an auto-reply telling you someone will contact you within one business day. Be patient as that's more like a week these days.

If you are in the US, you might also want to give Sweetwater a call. They may be able to tell you the V2 "release date" which would be more definitive.

      Hope this helps,

Just joined and so far this sucks. Bought a Behringer mixer after review of add showing software avaliable. Downloaded what I found and got was nothing more than public domain software. Audacity. This is not the software used in the web site demo.

Anyone have a clue whre I can get what was advertisedin web promo?

This really sucks. Software should have come with product. Downloads require too much personal info. I did it and the download is NOT what was shown on demo.

That is an old video actually. The person in that video hasn't been with the company for at least 2 years. Many things have changed since then, including Tracktion (which he mentioned). It is now called Waveform which is available (version 7 is free) here. By the way, even the X32 and new Wing does not come with DAW software. Also, for the record, the Q802USB does not provide true multi-tracking signals. It only has stereo (2 track) bidirectional via USB.

Thanks for reply. Do you know if i can record stereo to pc using USB out on mixer? Would I be able to adjust audio going over USB with mixer or is it fixed at one setting? I am only looking to record a left and right channel.

I'm having some problems with my Tannoy Lifebuds. Like the sound quality but the left bud was choppy (sounded like I was going through a tunnel as it would frequently drop connection) and one day the buds simply stopped pairing with one another so I'm only able to listen to one of them at a time. Have tried re-pairing with my phone as in the manual multiple times to no avail. Please help.

    Hi Folks,

Just a simple query .... Can anyone please tell me what "B/Eye" means in the above title.  It's bugging me and I cannot find anything about it on Google!

    Many thanks

      Hi Dave,

I am not 100% sure but I assume it is to do with it being a centre channel speaker and looking a bit like a pair of eyes...

I intend to find out for sure!

Hi, I've been using an Xr-18 for a few years now and have never had problems with the XAir app, but these days ago I updated IOS to version 13.2.2 and to my surprise was that the app is no longer working as it should. Can anyone help me regarding this? What should I do ? The latest app update is over 2 years old, will anyone solve this?

I'm interested in the Behringer NX3000 Power Amplifier. What is the RMS Continuous power output of this amplifier into 2, 4 & 8 Ohms? Is the amplifier 2 Ohm stable? What is the Peak/Maximum power output also at 2,4 & 8 Ohms? Do i need an equalizer for this amplifier? I am interested in the Behringer FBQ3102 Equalizer, Is this equalizer compatible with this amplifier, and is it a good EQ to match this amplifier with? Can i run this amplifier at 2 Ohms continuously? Will that cause any damage to the amplifier? Can the amplifier be run in mismatched loads/impedance, for instance if i want to run channel 1 at 2 Ohms and Channel 2 at 2.67 or 4 Ohms? I'm interested in the 220-240 Volts variant of this amplifier, Do I need a voltage regulator for the device, since AC Voltages tend to fluctuate world wide? Or is the amplifier designed to withstand voltage fluctuations without issues? At maximum volume, what would the power consumption of the amplifier be? If I buy the 220-240 Volts Variant of this amplifier, Can it work on the FBQ3102 Equalizer if it's 120 Volts? I can buy a step down transformer for the EQ so it can plug into 220-240 volts just as the amplifier, Would that be okay for the amplifier to be 220-240 Volts and the EQ to be 120 Volts? Will they work together or be any compatibility issues? Or can they damage each other in any way due to this configuration?

I've read online that there was an issue with the Behringer iNuke Seriess, Especially the iNuke NU3000 where they go into protection mode, also I read that there were some Schottky Diodes issues in the iNuke Series amplifier, Were these issues addressed and corrected the the NX Series amplifier? The NX Series is the newer version replacing the iNuke, right? What is the input sensitivity of the NX3000 @ 2,4 & 8 Ohms? What's the difference between the red and amber light on the unit, one says limit and protect, isn't there a clip light? Can tell me how to match my gains between my equalizer, source unit and amplifier? Is there any documentation?

      Hi Mark,

OK wow lots to get through here, let me take a deep breath aannnnnnnd...

What is the RMS Continuous power output of this amplifier into 2, 4 & 8 Ohms?

      2 Ohm - 2 x 1500W
      4 Ohm - 2 x 900W
      8Ohm - 2 x 440W

      Bridge 4 Ohm - 3000W
      Bridge 8 Ohm - 1500W

You need headroom though, its allways best to aim for a MINIMUM of 20%, so take your loudspeakers RMS power rating and ensure it is AT LEAST 20% lower than the above figures.

Is the amplifier 2 Ohm stable?

Yes in normal operation, No in bridge mode.

What is the Peak/Maximum power output also at 2,4 & 8 Ohms?

You can assume this to be double the RMS rating.

Do i need an equalizer for this amplifier?

I would reccomend some kind of loudspeaker processor yes, but it really depends on the application. What speakers are you planning on driving with the amplifier?

I am interested in the Behringer FBQ3102 Equalizer, Is this equalizer compatible with this amplifier, and is it a good EQ to match this amplifier with?

I think you are better off with a loudspeaker processor such as the DCX range, the FBQ would work as an overall system EQ.

Can i run this amplifier at 2 Ohms continuously?

YES! (But not in bridge mode)

Will that cause any damage to the amplifier?

NO! (Unless you run it at 2 Ohm in bridge mode or over load it by driving speakers with too high a power rating)

Can the amplifier be run in mismatched loads/impedance, for instance if i want to run channel 1 at 2 Ohms and Channel 2 at 2.67 or 4 Ohms?

      Yes you can do this.

I'm interested in the 220-240 Volts variant of this amplifier, Do I need a voltage regulator for the device, since AC Voltages tend to fluctuate world wide?

No you shouldn't need a regulator, unless you are somwhere with truly unstable power!

Or is the amplifier designed to withstand voltage fluctuations without issues?

As long as they are in the 220-240 volt range you will be fine. It's generally worth testing your power source before running a show!

At maximum volume, what would the power consumption of the amplifier be?

This is a very subjective question, you are better off looking at an average as music is inherrently not maximum power all the time. 1/8 rated power is pretty standard. 350W is a sensible figure.

If I buy the 220-240 Volts Variant of this amplifier, Can it work on the FBQ3102 Equalizer if it's 120 Volts?

If the power sent to each is from a seperate and appropriate source then yes, the FBQ will immediatly blow its fuse if given 220 volts and the amp will simply not turn on if its given 120 volts. The line level outputs will remain the same voltages so you can feed the 220 volt amp from the 120 volt EQ if thats what you want to do.

I can buy a step down transformer for the EQ so it can plug into 220-240 volts just as the amplifier, Would that be okay for the amplifier to be 220-240 Volts and the EQ to be 120 Volts?

See above answer, be careful please

Will they work together or be any compatibility issues? Or can they damage each other in any way due to this configuration?

Again, be careful! The power input will not affect the line level output or input voltage.

I am confident that this is resolved.

The NX Series is the newer version replacing the iNuke, right?

Kind of yes, its a new range of amps.

What is the input sensitivity of the NX3000 @ 2,4 & 8 Ohms?

For rated power into 4 Ohms its 0.775 volts or 0dBu

What's the difference between the red and amber light on the unit, one says limit and protect, isn't there a clip light?

Amber = careful now your close to limit
Red = Please turn me down! I am limiting and will go into protect mode shortly.
Loss of audio = I am now in protect mode, you hurt me.

Can tell me how to match my gains between my equalizer, source unit and amplifier? Is there any documentation?

Research gain staging, generally you want to feed the amplifier with as "hot" an input signal as you can without clipping. This will ensure that when you come to turning the amplifier gain up your input signal is nice and far above the noise floor. Amplifying a low input signal means the noise floor is closer to the level of the input signal and you end up with a noisy output as you are gaining up the noise floor.

      Annnnnd breath out...

      Hope that helps

I am on my second broken Behringer amplifier in less than two years. I have tried contacting support for repair or replacement and have not heard back whatsoever. I have spent over $600 on these amps, have kept them in fantastic condition, and they both went out randomly. Any instruction as to how to move forward is greatly appreciated.

Can I route the RCA outputs on the back of the UMC 204 HD to send to a Dazzle for video and audio recording live?

Hi and welcome to the community,

I see no reason why this would not work, though I have no experience with Dazzle!

I have two behringer a500' that I'll be using for an outdoor setup at my house. Both will be running in stereo with a network player connected to one amp with RCA's. The other will be running a single dual voicecoil subwoofer in stereo as well. I'm wondering how I connect the 2 amplifiers together (daisy chain?)

I'm sure it's a simple thing and can be done with a patch cable but want some expert advise to make sure I don't damage my investment.
