I am trying to digitize my reel to reel tapes from the 60s and 70s but all the output is in mono - I can see from Audacity and from what I can hear. I'd like to re-scan the tapes if possible to give me the vintage sound I remember. I'm running Windows 10 on my Dell computer. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi I want to connect an old analog record deck to my bluetooth speakers (i know that this is an offensive idea to purists). The record deck has a DIN output and I guess I will need to get a bluetooth transmitter capable of pairing with the speakers. But what is the best sort of amp/prepamp that IO should get to sit in-between.

Nigel67 Hi Hugobr. This all depends on your bluetooth device, whether it has analogue or digital inputs or may even have a pre-amp built into it. Cost is also another factor, how much do you want to spend. Behringer makes a pre-amp but you will have to make an adapter cable from you DIN plug to phono. I think that you will find it very unlikely to find a pre-amp or bluetooth device that has a DIN plug on it. The Behringer pre-amp is the PP400 https://www.behringer.com/behringer/product?modelCode=P0492.

Hey, the company where I just started has a policy of not updating the firmware on the x32 Behringer Soundboard, thus I'm looking for the x32 Edit Version 2.0 Software, which I believe is compatible with the 2.04 Firmware.

The issue is that I can't seem to locate it anywhere. Not on their official downloads page or through a Google search. Does anyone know where I might be able to obtain it? Thank you very much.

I'm a newbie to this site and to home audio. I have three questions regarding the FX2000.

    1. Am I too assume that this unit is just an effects processor or is it an interface as well?

    2. I wish to run a mic into it and out to powered speakers. Is this possible or do I have to run it through a mixer first?

    3. I'm also assuming that there aren't USB or SD capabilities to be connected to a computer for recording purposes and that the unit will have to go through a usb mixer.

Maybe simple and straight forward questions but I'd appreciate any answers. Thanks y'all!

    HI,

I just bought a MP76, I downloaded the update to my Voicelive play to be able to setup the MP76. My problem is that when I press the Upper button on the mic, setted on the Hit button of the VLP, no effects come in.   I did all the setup on the VLP, selected the functions etc. so that all the effects should comes when I press the mic. When I press the mic, The Hit button lights up but no effects comes in.  Discouraged, the mic is new and I cannot send it back to the store.  Anyone had the same type of problem? THanks

Hello Analiza, welcome to the community.

We should be able to help if you tell us the make/model of your mixer, TV and powered speaker.

      @Analizaplazaro

You should be able to connect the 1202FX Main outputs to the BP10 channel 1 inputs using TRS/TRS cables like these. Without knowing the model of the TV, it is not possible to say how it could be connected to the mixer. Some TVs have two RCA output connectors for sound. If so, you could use a cable like this to connect to one of the 1202FX stereo inputs (5/6, 7/8, 9/10 or 11/12).

    Hi,

I have tried to raise a support ticket three times tonight and it keeps saying there is an error.

I have a Tannoy TS2.8 Sub (Serial Number 80006580160115806811) which has no sound coming out of it. The led on the back is flashing red and I have tried a different power lead and cable but that has not made a difference. The fuse is OK. It is still in warranty and I have attached proof of purchase. Can you resolve it remotely or will it need to be returned?

    Kind regards,
    Danny

I have made a basic setup using tv audio-aux out for music-source and microphones for vocals. I found music was noisy. So, I did lot of debug and the summary is as below:

I started using only 1 channel out of 5-10, say M, keeping all other chanels mute i.e. all channels from 1-12 are mute except M. Even then I get quite noisy output on my soundbar. Source of music is youtube karaoke track from TV audio aux-output (of course TV audio is muted). Only weak point in connection I can't debug is the 3.5mm-male to 6mm-male cable or 3.5mm-female to 6mm-male converter. I have checked tv audio out using RCA cables to my soundbar and the music is perfectly alright. So, source is perfectly fine. Assuming the cables are alright (as chances of cable and adapter both being bad are low), its the mixer XR12. I think its my settings (.scn) as microphones sound alright but when music is entered through same mic-channel, noise is there. Any suggestion?

Hello Anand, welcome to the community.

What type of connector is the TV output? If it is a stereo 3.5mm socket, you would need to use a cable like this to separate the two channels and connect the 6.35mm mono plugs to two adjacent channels - e.g. 5 & 6.

If the TV output is RCA sockets, use a cable like this and also connect to two mixer channels.

In both cases you should stereo-link the two channels in your XR12 setup using XAir-Edit.

      Hi AJ ( @itexpertak ),

Welcome to the community.  That is kind of a loaded question since many audiophile's don't believe in EQ at all. They "fix" the room instead.  That being said, I personally use a Behringer Ultracurve Pro DEQ2496 that was set based on measurements from Room EQ Wizard (REW).  I can't say I'm an audiophile, far from it, but my system sounds good to me.

      Hope this helps,

      Ken
