I have a Crown Amp XLS 1002 that are connected to Polk RTI6 passive speakers. I want to also connect my Sub to the amp. I have a Powered sub. I also have a SMSL SU-8 Dac that is connected via the balanced outputs.192.168.0.1

I done some reading but still dont understand it quite yet. From what I understand and correct me if am wrong.

From the DAC i need to use a Y XLR cable and connect it to channel 1 input. whatsapp web

Then I connect the sub channel 2 output via either speakon or binding postsrouterlogin

Then I connect the passive speakers to channel 2 output(But I would need to bi -wire the speakers in parallel or something like that?)

Then the Crossover in the AMP directs all the traffic with the pass filters?

If all is correct. How does it determine left and right for imaging? Or do I lose that when I connect it this way?

    Hi,

I've just bought a Behringer PMP 580S powered mixer, mainly for karaoke.  (I would mention that I am not music/tech savy!)

However, I've cannot get any sound out of my speakers, either from music through my computer or the micrphones.

My speakers are not powered, just passive (they are Skytec 170.245 300 watts each)

Also, I've linked my compter to the Behringer with a 3.5 audio cable.

Once everyone has stopped laughing at me, please can someone advise me, have I bought the wrong piece of kit, do I need powered speakers, or should I jsu go back to my little Power Dynamics unit and be happy?

    Thank you for reading this,

    Roger

RobbyWingfield Hi Roger, this is Robby with Music Tribe. You should connect your computer to the mixer channels 7/8. Make sure your white level knob on the channel is turned up. Your master level is turned up. And make sure you do not have the standby button depressed. If you are still having trouble, please submit a support case above with a video showing all your connections and we will help get you sorted out.

BAMFORD Hi, many thanks for the reply but still no luck. I also had it tested at friend’s house who has all the tech but no luck there either so I’ve returned it. It must be broken. Thanks again, Roger

I wish to develop a home cinema in space of 20 x 30 sq. ft. room size. Apart from professional display, It should have excellent sound system with Dolby effects. Kindly suggest be best configuration of speakers, amplifiers, controls, etc. and their positioning.

      HI Gopel ( @avfern ),

Welcome to the community.  The first thing you need to tell us is what your approximate budget is?  Also it would help to tell us what part of the world you are in as not all products are offered in all countries. Since you are posting here I'll asuume you'd like to focus on Music Tribe products but that's not really their forte.  I believe most of their products are multi-zone type audio distribution products.

      Hope this helps,

      Ken

zeno86 So you could get UST with an ALR screen and it would look wonderful, but it wouldn't be as good as an oled. However, in my mind, sheer size is more important than perfect blacks for movies in terms of creating a cinematic experience.

      DavidKnighton Hello JonMac,
We sell single channel mic systems and dual channel mic systems. You bought the single channel mic systems, however what you should have bought was the dual channel mic system. You can not pair two single channel mics to a single channel dongle because it only operates on 1 channel, and you need two operating channels, one for each mic.

Can someone, maybe Behringer, post clear, step by step instructions on how to run two bridged channels, as oppossed to 4 non bridged, on the NU4-6000?  Detailed, straight forward instructions that explain EVERYTHING that needs to be done to bridge A+C and B+D channels?

    Thank you

    Hi,

I am very novice with audio but usually once I can play with things I'm very good at learning. I inherited a DEQ2496 and some other components. But there is no way for me to tell in what order I should hook them up in. For example, the amplifier, receiver, etc. If you could send me what order to hook things up, I'd very much appreciate it. Thanks.

Hi can someone help me. I've purchased a behringer umc22 and a tonor tw820 wireless mic system to do karaoke using YouTube karaoke songs. I've set both devices as per instructions but I'm not getting any sound from the mic. My Mac recognises the umc22 and lights flash when I speak into the mic but I can't hear my voice. Am I doing something wrong. Any help is much appreciated

      Nigel67 Hi Michael, If you press the Direct Monitor button, can you hear the microphone through your headphones? We need to confirm that your MAC can definitely see the UMC22. Can you do the following;
To check that your MAC is seeing your device connected to it via a USB connector, the following procedure will help.

Plug your unit in to the MAC, and power both on
Press the CMD + Spacebar at the same time to open a search bar.
In the search bar, type 'system information' and select this option when it appears in the search.
A new page will open and in the column down left hand side select 'USB'
The right hand side of the page will now show all the USB connections the MAC has.
If the MAC can see the unit that you have connected, it will be listed in the right hand side of the page under one of the USB connections.
If your unit is listed, then the problem will more than likely be an incorrect setting in the software you are connecting to.
If the unit is not listed, then check all connections, power and cables and if possible try another computer.

Are you using the original USB cable. What DAW are you using? Can you confirm that for recording and playback, you have the UMC22 selected? What OS is the MAC running. Do you have another computer that you can try?

mickange Hi Nigel thank you for your response. I have since opened GarageBand on my Mac and can get sound through that. I had no idea I needed software to hear the mic. I assumed I could open YouTube on safari and just sing to the songs. GarageBand is difficult to understand for a novice like me. Can you suggest an easier way to get my mic to run with YouTube. Thanks for your time Nigel.

Nigel67 Hi Michael. I am sorry, but I have never made a You Tube video so am not really in a position to be able to give you any advice. There are plenty of videos on You Tube showing you what software you would need. You could try Audacity, which is probably easier than Garageband and it is also a free software.

Bought this for my phono, hums really bad. Tried three different turntables and same result. Need a quick answer or will just send back. Judging from what I'm reading. Customer service seems really slow.
