I downloaded X-Air Edit (PC) version 1.7 and unzipped it, but when I run the .exe, I get this error:

"The code execution cannot proceed because MSVCP140.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem."

When I click "OK" on that error, I immediately get this error:

"The code execution cannot proceed because VCRUNTIME140.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem."

After closing the second error, nothing further happens.

I also downloaded version X-Air for PC version 1.5, and it runs just fine with no such errors.

    I'm running Win 10 Pro 20H2 (64-bit).

AlanKenobi Update (Solved): I downloaded 1.7 onto a different Win 10 computer and it worked fine, so I looked up the specific errors and found I was missing the Microsoft Visual C++ redistributables. I downloaded both the x64 and x86 versions and installed them, and now X-Air Edit 1.7 is working correctly.

Nigel67 Hi Alan, many thanks for the feedback. I will pass this on to the design team just in case this is something they need to look at in the software.

    Dear Tribers,
Today, I am addressing you with a very important message, a message that will affect all of us. Over the past months I have shared with you, why we need to become Customer Obsessed. (Obsession is the domination of oneʼs thoughts or feelings by a persistent idea, image or desire). Customer Obsession means that everything we do must be relevant to the Customers we chose to serve and also exceed their wants and needs.
Over the past years we all have become complacent and frankly we lost our focus and purpose why we exist and come to work. Organizations who lose their customer purpose will cease to exist and we have seen many examples such as Nokia, Blackberry, Avaya, Kodak, etc. You know my favorite line: “Happiness comes from doing meaningful things for other people in return for appreciation and recognition.”
    Who Pays Our Salaries?
When I ask this question, people quickly respond by saying: “Itʼs you, Uli”. Nothing could be further from the truth as I am only representing our Customers who are gracious enough to keep us alive by buying our products. My job is to re-distribute our Customersʼ money to you the Tribers by paying your wages and acquiring new Tribers, equipment, facilities as well as a new company from time to time.
If we ever fail to deliver outstanding services, our Customers wonʼt buy our products anymore, money will dry out and we will cease to exist.
    Hit Refresh
As the Music Tribe Leader I have an overall responsibility for our 4,000 Tribers and my only purpose is to ensure we as Music Tribe stay relevant and deliver incredible value to our
Customers. If I cannot deliver this task, I will have failed our Customers and a better leader should take my place.
Music Tribe is more important than myself and I am taking my given responsibility extremely seriously, a responsibility to create, retain and grow a Customer Obsessed organization where every Triber focuses on our Customers - every second of the day. Only if I can achieve this, I have fulfilled my role and responsibility and hence I will do everything in my power to deliver on this promise.
Over the past 2 months I have done lots of soul searching by taking the time to truly reflect on the Music Tribeʼs Vision but also my personal Vision. I am very grateful for all the people who have helped me on this insightful journey and today I am proud to present the outcome – our Music Tribe Vision which you can find in our Academy. The Music Tribe Vision is a Customer Obsessed Vision where all our services surround the ONE person that truly matters – our Customer.
Microsoftʼs CEO Satya Nadella wrote a book called “Hit Refresh”, a book which has greatly inspired me. It's a journey of a man who has applied his own values to an organization by defining and executing on a purpose; the purpose to serve Customers by truly empowering them. Look where Microsoft is today – within a short period of time, the company has done a complete turnaround and now become the worldʼs most valuable company.
Like all of you, I am also reporting to our Customers who have empowered me to serve them. I am responsible to ensure that we all act in the spirit of our Customer Vision, which means only one thing – to deliver true value to the our Customer. Consistently and relentlessly.
    Think Slow – Act Fast
With the Music Tribe Vision now in place, itʼs time to act fast and relentlessly. We will be

Strange the below part didn't send/attach...... Thnx!

New to this type of routing....

M32c to DL32 I have <ix Busses 1-6 working on DL32 outs 1-6 respectivly. My mains are outs 7-16 L&R's on DL32. What I'd like to do is:

Mix buss 1-8 routed to outs 1-8 on DL32 & Mains to 15&16...Maybe even a center channel for fills on 14?

There are two parts to routing outputs to the DL32. First stage the buses on the Routing -> Out 1-16 tab:

      Routing, Out 1-16Routing, Out 1-16

Then route the outputs through AES50-A or AES50-B (whichever port is used) to the DL32:

      Routing, AESRouting, AES

Change the 2nd column to Out9-16.  Then go over the the "Virtual out" tab and set it how Rex set tthe out1-16 tab.

Good Morning.  Can anyone please tell me the difference between a Midas M32-IP (older version) and the new Midas M32 Live?  My question really is which one is better?  I do Live sound for corporate, Bands and Djs.  Please advise.  Thanking you all in advance for some guidance......

Hi TJ, welcome to the forum.

The M32 Live includes the DN32-Live expansion card. This allows recording of up to 32 channels onto SD cards without the need for an attached computer. The DN32-Live also has a USB connector for 32 track record/play to/from a PC. The normal M32 comes with just the DN32-USB multichannel USB interface.

Both packages are equally good for live sound. The SD card record/play can be very useful for performing virtual sound checks.

      Hi @tbone11,

Just to clarify Rex @RexBeckett, post. The M32-IP is now a discontinued package (IP stands for integrated package) that included the M32 full console with the DN32-USB recording card and a flight case. The M32-Live includes the same M32 full console with the newer DN32-Live recording card (that Rex described), but no flight case included. If you are looking at purchasing new, the M32-Live is the one to purchase. If you find a used M32-IP in good condition and price, that may be the way to go, they purchase the DN32-Live at a later point and install.

Hi Paul,  I heard the older version (forget the IP aspect) has 100mm faders which are faster and better and the newer Live version has 80 mm faders and are slower, Is this true?  Paul my real question is which one has better parts such as preamps, faders and most importatly, sound quality?  Or are they equal or is one better than the other?

      Thank you again.

Never heard that, even as a rumour. Even the X32 has 100mm faders. Must be "fake news"

As far as I know both use the identical M32 console - thus exactly the same sound quality. The only difference I know of is the sound card (DN32-USB vs the newer DN-Live) and the added flight case.

So I stopped by my sons band and they have a soundcraft board similar to the xair....for recording live shows, they can just pop in a thumb drive into the mixer/snake/router...and it will record or drop the tracks in their.

Is it that simple with the xair...i'd love to get some more recent recordings of us..and if its that easy, it'd be nothing to drop the track files into a mixing software to get it where we want it.

Not on the XR18 - the USB port is (can be) a 2x2 audio interface or an 18x18 interface.

I use an iPad running Auria Pro with a Camera Connection Kit - I have a template that records LR and up to 16 channels of audio. Garageband can do this as well. I assume there are simple audio recorders for Android devices as well.

Hi guys, I got delivery of the long awaited TFX122M-AN monitors yesterday, purchased from Chuck Levin, great seller.

Problem is, one of the speakers popped and stopped playing at a performance I was having. I took off the power and tried it back this morning. It's playing material and then stopping. I don't know if it's thermal or something else. I'm willing to ship the amp from this box and get a replacement. Just dont know who in the Caribbean or Latin America would be able to facilitate me. The other box is great and I love the sound. I feel I'm gonna sell my JBL monitors and buy this. It's just for me to sort out this issue of an amp swap.

RexBeckett Hi William. If you have downloaded presets for the M32 from dbb, you can install them in the console library using a USB stick or by using M32 Edit on a PC. Windows cannot load them. I believe the presets come with PDF documentation that explains how to install them.

I just bought a cat7 25' cable to extend my Ubiquiti AP. It now has a cat6 at 15'. Do you think the cat7 will work for this application?

      Hi @garypegb

Which application are you referring to? Cat5e or cat6a are good for up to 320'. I'm using cat7 for my Turbosound iQ Ultranet hookup without issues.

I use a Ubiquiti Outdoor 5 for gigs both inside and out and I use cat7 with it (almost all my cable is now cat7) so it should work just fine.
