I have an X32 Producer in a rack with all of my Axient Digitial receivers and PSM transmitters. Can anyone help me set up routing them via AES50 to my WING so they can be mixed from the wing directly? Occasionally only the rack will be needed for smaller events and I'd like to still maintain the ability to keep the current routing saved and then when used with the wing as a FOH console, have the option to switch to routing it as if the X32 is functioning as a stage box. **Side note... I'd also like the amps for the speakers on stage to remain connected to the x32 with the wireless equipment. So I need help figuring out the routing so that when using the Wing FOH and the X32 in the rack everything is mixed at FOH and then sent back to the amps.
Hi Nigel @NigelCarter
For using the X32 Producer in between the receivers/transmitters, you can assign these inputs (mirrored from the Routing, home screen) to the respective AES50 screen. For the outputs, it would depend on how you have it currently setup. I would suggest you export your scene to a file (either using the Utility button on the console or X32-Edit Export) and attach it to your next post (Choose File below). That way we can see what you currently have and better advise.
For accessing your receivers and transmitters directly on the Wing, you are aware that the Wing only has 8 XLR inputs, not 16 (that the Producer has). That means that if you have more than 8 receivers, you will need a stagebox to provide the necessary inputs. You can convert your existing X32 scene to a Wing snapshot using the XM32 to Wing Converter.
Is it possible to route efx to the p16?
Yes.
If you want to send one of the consoles fx returns to the Ultranet bus, just assign it in the Ultranet:Routing menu. What mixer are you using?
You could route the FX Returns to spare Ultranet channels if you have some free. Otherwise, you could build mixes of channels and FX Returns on spare buses and route them to Ultranet.
Hi all,
Thank you so much for the efficient help I've found here.
Here is another question I have for you.
In order to get the XAir 12 connected to a computer as an USB entry of a DAW (Garageband on MacBook Pro), I have added this Behringer box UMC202HD, connected as shown in the attached picture.
When I play 1 chord on my guitar, XAIR Edit shows a signal level of -30 db on the main LR output.
The signal I get as a result in Garageband is all the way right on the red clipping zone.
I have a ton of ways to get this signal to the right level, and this is my problem; from thebeginning to the end :
- reduce the volume on the guitar (at the max right now to reduce the noise and parasites)
- reduce the gain in XAIR Edit (at +20 right now because when all the faders are at 0, this is the best balance between all the devices connected to the XR12 - mic, others guitars)
- reduce the fader of the channel in XAIR Edit (at 0 right now)
- reduce the fader of the main output in XAIR Edit (at 0 right now)
- reduce the volume of the output channels on the UMC202
- reduce the volume of the main output on the UMC202
- switch from line to instrument on the UMC202 (no effect anayway)
- push the pad switwh on the UMC202
- reduce the entry level of the channel in Garageband (at -5db right now)
- reduce the volume of the master track in Garageband (at -5db right now)
- a combination of the aboves
Sorry for this long post. Thank you for reading.
Hi All,
I have owned the EURORACK UB 802 Mixer for many years with no issues, but decided to upgrade to the XENYX 1002B Mixer and was at first very pleased with the quality. All the channels work very well using my high impedance microphones which do not require phantom power, then I connected the Behringer C1 Microphone (bought at the same time as the UB 802) and turned the phantom power on the new Mixer, put the Mic fader up to hear Mains Hum plus the audio from the Mic, I changed to Mic 2 channel but got the same results. I re-plugged the C1 Mic back the UB 802 and the audio from the Mic was clean, I turned the gain up to the max and proved the Mic is fault free, no Mains Hum just hiss from the high gain. I connected the C1 Mic back to the new 1002B Mixer and the Mains hum is still there. My word my new purchase seems to be faulty on all five Mic Channels when the phantom power is turned on. Do you have any suggestions as to why this is happening, or am I missing something?
Kind regards
Chris
Hi. I'm using SynthTool 2.40 and two TD-3, both on firmware 1.2.6.
When I use the "dump" feature in SynthTool, then it properly exports 64 patterns (counts up to 64).
When I use the "merge" feature afterwards to import the previously exported dump file to the second TD-3, then the "merge" counts up to 49, and then says that it was successful.
So basically, what it imports via "merge" is all correct, but it's only 49 patterns, means 16 patterns of pattern bank 1, 2, and 3, and only the very first pattern of pattern bank 4.
This is very easy to reproduce. Simply create a pattern in Pattern bank 4, pattern 8 for example, then dump the whole machine, and merge it to another one.
I also tried with SynthTool 1.36 ... same results.
Is there a way to save the Clock Source setting on the Global page with a Scene save? We have different scenes that require diffenent Clock Source settings between Internal, AES50A and AES50B.
Hope you can help. Just bought a Behringer UM2.
I've connected it to windows laptop using Audacity and I can record the input on the MIC/LINE1. I checked the input via the headphone monitor and the RCA connectors on the rear and it is mono with both sides playing the same signal.
But when I plug the guitar into INST2 I can't configure the laptop to 'see' the second channel. I can hear it on the headphone monitor and on the RCA connectors, again it is mono with the same signal on both left and right channels but nothing seems to get to the digital input into the laptop. I've tried all Audacity input configurations but no signal from the elusive INST2.
I've used Audacity and Presonus Studio to try to record it but neither works.
Can anyone help, is the UM2 faulty?
I'm looking to play some live sets with the TD-3 alongside a Drum Machine (The Roland TR-8 to be precise). Eventually I'm looking to incorporate this into my Live DJ Sets and some remix work.
Would the XENYX 302 USB be compatible for the 2 Machines? My confusion is that one input on the Audio Interface says 'Line' whilst the other says '2 Track'. If the Interface is compatible, wouldn't 'Line 1' and 'Line 2' be less confusing?
Thanks
Good morning,
I have a 2nd hand Behringer Xenyx 2442USB which suddenly stopped to work. The problem is that now, power LED is blinking and the mixer seems "rebooting" infinitely. As long as I already opened the console multiple time (to fix some other issues such as the JRC4580 amps killed by a bad external hardware), I want to repair it myself.
At the beginning, can I run the PSU alone (not connected to the board, for voltage output testing)? I've inspected the PSU, seems that there is no IC for command, but still want to be sure before testing. And what I should expect as voltage output? (+/-15V, 5V, 48V like X1222USB or something else?) Is there any doc about the connector pins?
Then, is there any common issue with these PSU that would lead to this problem? At this time I'm expecting to replace the BD239 & BD240 transistors (in cold side), but not sure if I should also replace filtering capacitors in the cold side (there is no visible damage in the board).
Thanks in advance for help.
Hi there we would advise raising a Service ticket via the support tab above for a non warranty repair.
